  1. So you feel entitled to the point that any news outside of you local area/state should be given to you for free? So basically screw the outfit that spends the money, does the work to create the information in a format you want, am I right, or am I right? Asking for a friend…, Go Bills!!!
  2. Not a chance in hell the fan base changes, absolutely no way, mostly because unlike the team, the fan base didn’t get rid of the non process guys, far to many flat earthers still on the fan base roster…, Go Bills!!!
  3. I just love the worry worts on this board, our team is going to take out our game one loss on Miami, and it won’t be close, Tua is out in the first Quarter because he is tiny and weak and can’t take a hit, it will be at the hands of Rousseau slamming him one handed to the turf, resulting in a fumble recovery by Hughes, at that point the fins call it in, and merely go through the motions for the rest of the game, Allen has Three passing TDs Singletary two rushing, and Little dirty returns one for a TD, that’s my story, and I’m sticking to it, Go Bills!!!
  4. True, but that wasn’t the case in this game, and then it’s on the OC to be able to make changes to compensate for that, Dabol doesn’t do that in mid series, and is barely competent doing so at half time, it’s his weakness that will prevent him from ever being a HC, his thinking/strategies are far to inflexible, we have all been witness to it, and now every team has a bunch of tape on his offense…, think about that and the ramifications there in. Go Bills!!!
  5. He is rather cavalier in that he doesn’t actually protect the ball when he runs, as to protecting the ball, “there is do or not do, there is no try”… Go Bills!!!
  6. That would be just fine, I mean really, who wouldn’t be happy with that outcome? Go Bills!!!
  7. It’s more that Dabs really doesn’t know or understand how to integrate a run game into his pass first offensive style, yes, it’s hard to fathom that this could actually be the case, but if you look at his time with the Bills this holds true, just weird imo, Go Bills!!!
  8. It’s only game one, it will serve as a wake up call to our team, imo Poor execution accompanied by some questionable play calls on top of an offense that was rusty and out of sync for in game situations is what brought this about, as well hardly any preseason game reps didn’t do us any favors, live and learn to fight another day. Oh, and you BD, learn to integrate the run game properly, Go Bills!!!
  9. When running is working, it can be used to ones benefit…, doesn’t mean every game, Go Bills!!!
  10. I said maybe…, but you don’t want to include the context of my post, snippets don’t tell the tale..,
  11. It is an overall lack of offensive coordination by Dabol, doesn’t use the run game even when it was working, didn’t capitalize on the short pass game even when it was working… etc etc, the guy is not very intuitive when designing or adjusting a game plan, if his initial plan isn’t working he makes no useful adjustments, this makes him the weakest link on the coaching staff, one would think Beane and McDermott would jerk a knot in his azs at some point over this continuing to happen. Oh well, maybe it would be for the better if he was some other teams HC, Go Bills!!!
  12. Dabol has clearly not figured out how to use a run game to compliment his pass offense, to the point of being inept, people say Josh has to take what the D is giving him, but more so Dabol needs to capitalize on the same, in the Steelers game, they were giving us the run and TE options to prevent our WR pass game from beating them, and Dabol didn’t recognize it, this has become a constant failing on Dabs behalf, Go Bills!!!
  13. That’s overly harsh, after all it is a game, and not real life, I maintain that you are mistaken in your assessment of Singletary, he not Thurmond Thomas for sure, but he is a good RB who is chronically misused by s guy who doesn’t know how to use RBs in his offensive schemes, it’s only one game, and it will act as a wake up call imo, that and I never referred to BD as a loser, that’s your verbiage not mine. Go Bills!!!
  14. All true, But, in our case, Dabol, as good as he is, is not very good at when and how to use his RBs, and this has been his Achilles heel since he has been our OC, it really can’t be argued otherwise. Go Bills!!! Our offense was rusty and out of sync, a couple of series in one preseason game does not knock the rust off nor does it build game level chemistry between the QB and his targets. Today showed this to be the case. Go Bills!!!
  15. The real problem/ Elephant in the room, is that Dabol as good as he is, has no clear notion nor intuitive capacity of how to use his RBs in a complimentary fashion to his pass first offense. Today’s game example is when Singletary had pick up back to back first downs of 12 & 15 yards iirc, and put us well into the red zone, Dabol then stops using the hot hand (Singletary) and calls a designed run play for Allen, and it doesn’t work, when the hot hand is our RB Singletary, who at this point is more than likely going to score a TD for us, we had the Steelers on their heals during this set of downs, and Dabs frankly blew it. The failure in this series of plays was the point of no return for the Bills during this game. Go Bills!!!
  16. You are incorrect, no really, you are, Dabol’s one failing is that he has no functioning idea how to integrate a run game into his offensive schemes, over the last three years he has shown this to be so. As an example; Singletary had just picked up back to back first downs on run plays, of 12 & 15 yards iirc, and put us well into the red zone, then Dabs calls a run play for Allen when Singletary was so obviously the hot hand and very likely to score a TD during that series of downs. Singletary was running in contact traffic much better than Allen was during the game. A Pass only offense is an one dimensional offense and is relatively easy to defend against especially when your OC doesn’t know when to use his RBs, this game showed this to be so. Go Bills!!!
  17. Play calling like today is likely a reason why Dabol may get past over for HC position, he is good, but he has shown over the last three seasons he has no clear idea of how to integrate the run game into the offense in a useful and constant fashion, he needs to work on this, to say the least. Go Bills!!!
  18. Yes, this^^^ play calling was very questionable at several points during the game, imo, Dabol’s play calling and offensive execution were both lacking, starters gotta play during preseason more than once, they were rusty and out of sync, and appeared to Be believing their own press clippings…, Go Bills!!!
  19. Actually, it was the Allen run after Singletary’s back to back runs that put us in the red zone, calling for Allen to run at that point was foolish on Dabol’s part, Singletary was running very well and likely scores a TD during that series, yes there was other plays that compounded the situation, but, that series of downs was the point of no return for the Bills. Dabol has shown that he doesn’t understand how to use the run game to compliment the rest of his offensive schemes, it is his Achilles heel as it were, this needs desperately to be corrected, he makes the team one dimensional the way he calls plays, and this makes it easier to defend us, and the rest of the league already knows it. Go Bills!!!
  20. Imo, the Allen run after Singletary got us into the red zone, is what sealed the loss, Dabol, frankly does not show that he knows how to use the run game to the teams advantage, Singletary likely scores a TD at that point of the game, creating a completely different outcome, oh well… Go Bills!!!
  21. Staff likely felt that Moss was not ready to go, extra time on the injury to heal maybe, it’s hard to say obviously, Go Bills!!!
  22. A rusty offense that was out of sync, from not enough preseason play, and an OC who doesn’t seem to understand when to stick with the run game, having Allen run after those two very good Singletary runs into the red zone is an example, should have stayed with Singletary, he likely scores a TD at that point…, oh well, on to next week, Go Bills!!!
  23. Well, that was an effort by an offense that was rusty and out of sync, the D did fine imo, but the O didn’t hold up it’s end of the deal, a real wake up call for Dabol and the entire Offense, on to next week…, Go Bills!!!
