If Brian Daboll gets fired, would you take him as OC?
Don Otreply replied to Doc's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agree, Dabol really didn’t know how to incorporate a run game into his scheme, I kinda think he really didn’t know how to, he was the mad bomber OC, -

Although Dabol certainly helped Allen early on, it became pretty obvious that Dabol’s success was more a product of Allen’s skill than his own capacities, jmo. -
Week 8 - Bills at Seahawks Game Week Thread
Don Otreply replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Sorry, but every game is a must win, we need to come out moving the chains on the first possession, can’t be going three and out repeatedly, I’m certain Brady and Allen are going to fix that issue, -
Random talking head says something about the Bills

You’re just gonna confuse people, but I do like it👍 -
That’s really a poor equivalency, and frankly incredibly silly, 😁, Brady schemes the entire offense, players do their 1/11th, quite a difference don’t you think ? Think of like this; Mozart writes the symphony, the musicians play their individual parts…, who gets the credit, Mozart or the violinist? Does Joe Brady need to be better at his job? Yes he does, but he still in effect writes the symphony for the offense, we just refer to it in football as his scheme,

If Myles Garrett is available.. How much are you willing to offer?
Don Otreply replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’d offer one sleeve of saltine crackers, and I had to borrow them from “House” at an unreasonable interest rate, -
Don’t mince words with us Gunner, tell us what you really think, 🤣
-
The end result is that Brady is 5-2 this year, ( 6-1 last season) 11-3 overall, it appears he is cognizant of his shortcomings and adjusting, albeit to slowly during games, and with some success, admittedly his scripted plays at the beginning of games leaves much to be desired, I think he will adjust appropriately, jmo.

Tua’s Broken Dome (now being placed on IR-out at least 4 games)
Don Otreply replied to RunTheBall's topic in The Stadium Wall
Iirc I saw Our guy Rapp wearing one, plus I saw a guy on the Titans wearing one, so around the league there are guys using them, -

Yup, ego can be a dangerous companion, -
Davis was a good receiver 3 / 4 for us, never a good 2. Lots of guys get in the end zone, the key here is at what percentage do they catch their overall targets, when you are a receiver with a catch percentage in the mid fifties, you got issues, combined that with annually missing time being injured dramatically reduces a player’s value, these are the top reasons Beane likely didn’t offer him a new contract, and encouraged him to “test free agency“ sure he got paid, but look at his stats with his new team, nuthin but luv, Go Bills!!!

Schefter: Metcalf considered “week to week”

We need to be a lot better on special teams
Don Otreply replied to Miyagi-Do Karate's topic in The Stadium Wall
Our special teams have never been good under McDermott, like his defense, special teams fail at the worst moments like clockwork, it’s like third and long…, 🤣😆😂 GO BILLS!!! -

You me and every other Bills fan…, -
the Daboll/Schoen regime - on the brink, it seems
Don Otreply replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
That was among the most poor decision making of Gm’s and Hc’s league wide, they were doomed the millisecond that they extended Jones, it made no sense, the guy has never been good as a pro, -
(edited)8 games in, 4.5-game division lead…

One more head bump on the ground and Tua’s career is over, the guy’s noggin is very fragile, everyone, and I mean everyone knows this. -
Clock management has not been great at crucial points in games, hope this doesn’t come true again, always hoping for the best 🤞

Stack the wins boys! GO BILLS!!! -
You are correct, RBs aren’t successful without a quality O-line,
-
It’s comes down to conservative play calling on both the O & D, that is borderline moronic, the defense has been infamous for this for years, now it has infected the offense. Time to get notably more aggressive right out of the gates, can yo imagine giving KC ten points immediately in a game, we likely don’t recover from that, Do understand I am super happy about a 34-10 win and we thus far own the division, but there is work to do. GO BILLS!!!

Don Otreply replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Hypothetical “ if we lost our QB “ is merely an exercise in futility, reality is that we thus far we own the Dolphins, Tua or no Tua , the little fragile guy is a limited skill set QB, that’s why we beat them regularly,
