Beane has been a very good GM, as is attested to his rankings amongst the leagues GMs, at or near the top since he has been here. Sure he like ALL GMs wiff on picks, the draft is a crap shoot as we all know. LBs like every other draft choice is a “perception / opinion” of the BPA at a position of need, each team will value different traits a player has a bit differently. This is the case even within a single team amongst its people who have valued opinions, so overall the final decision within a team will come down to the the guy who’s job it is to make that decision. In our case it’s Beane, and yes he gets an ear full from his HC and coordinators, but that’s normal. Like GunnerBill said players can adapt to different schemes, some better than others…, An old saying comes to mind; “ The draft is like a box of chocolates, ya never know what your going to get” 😁👍

BS, Lamar is under contract, that he agreed to when he signed on to the Ravens team tp begin with, he has been offered large money, and he turned it down, so the Ravens have done what the contract Lamar signed allows for, complete stop. Lamars problem is of his own making, end of story.

To be fair, Lamar wants something like 200 million or more fully guaranteed, no-one is doing that, so by that measure they are likely lowballing him, Lamar isn’t negotiating, he made a demand and won’t budge from it, so this is on Lamar, not the Ravens. Lamar is his own worst enemy, imo the Ravens odds of moving on from him go up a little more every day.

Highly unlikely, folk will pay, its part of the NFLs overall plan league wide to price out the “drunk rowdy” type of fans, did you notice that there are less available seats? Did you ask yourself why that is? The NFL is not interested in you if you can’t afford tickets. Does this suck for some? Yes, yes it does, and the NFL doesn’t care. The days of cheap tickets to Buffalo Bills games are a thing of the past.
