To use a phrase some dislike, a fair number of QBs have likely been ruined, by organizations that had / have no real clue on how to acclimate their high pick QBs into the NFL, or build an O - line that had even a chance in hell to protect their investment, yes some of them were just bad, but I would venture to guess that something around 15-20 percent that “failed” could very well have become decent game managers, or better if they had been drafted into organizations that had the know how to bring them along, sadly, there is still a lot of square peg in the round hole thinking amongst team HCs and GMs…,
