Yup, it won’t be easy, but That’s why Beane makes the big bucks, it’s up to him to make the right acquisitions.

It’s obvious what ails the Bills, they’re softer than custard.
Don Otreply replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yup, Brady’s Patriots demoralized defensives do just that, take the easy first downs and move the chains. We had a few to many ill advised longer / ish passes when an open short pass was a near guaranteed first down. -
At present, no, should he improve appropriately, could very well be. Beane needs to get three above average O-line talents this off season, fingers crossed that this happens,

Given the 3 year rule. Analyzing the Bills 2020 draft..

Yes a good draft, Diggs who was a great acquisition was result of a trade of multiple draft picks. -
What Are Your Expectations For The 2023 Season?
Don Otreply replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall
I expect a revamped O-line that can block in both pass and run situations, with next to no drama. I expect our offense to take the easy first down option instead of punting after an ill advised pass attempt, I expect a D that can be more effective all game long, especially in clutch moments. I expect all of our coaches to be able to make multiple and effective adjustments quickly throughout the games when their initial game plan isn’t proceeding as expected, not just at half time. Now do I in reality think these things will happen to an extent that changes the team for the better? In a word, no. What will happen is that GM & coaches will do the very same things that they have been doing, we will have a winning record likely win the AFCE and get bumped out of the post season like we have been the last few seasons. I do hope to find out that i am wrong, and that these things actually happen and we win the AFC and the league championship. GO BILLS!!! -
That “OPINION” is nuthin compared to “MY OPINION” Just give me a Thumbs up response and I will get right to posting my hugely important views concerning this team, 👍

Why isn't Frazier interviewing for Head Coaching positions?

Thank you for your offer. Guilty as charged, I was working off the title, 😂 -
Thanks to all of you as well for this past season

Pleasure is my business, and business is my pleasure, you are welcome, 👍 -
This is just proof that Beane and McDermott read the stadium wall, guys here were way ahead of the curve on this one, 😁👍 Now maybe they will get the O-line taken care of too, 🤞

In case anyone wondered - Kumerow had back surgery
Don Otreply replied to Beck Water's topic in The Stadium Wall
One would like to think so…, -
True, we did get beat in the trenches, and that is why we need to bolster the O-line first and foremost, we already have lots of D line guys that a new DC should be able to do something with.
-
Is it overreacting when in the post season the defense/ DC fails yet again? Is it overreacting when the offense / OC fails to have a game plan that even had a chance to work? Is it overreacting when neither makes adjustments in game that have any effect on the outcome? Imo we have a good team, but we have evidently stalled in our progress to beat the real contenders in the post season, and that is not debatable. The question going forward is, will BB & SM learn from there lack of success, and make the correct changes, or will they continue down the same path?

Franchise in trouble- Josh Allen has regressed
Don Otreply replied to RoscoeParrish's topic in The Stadium Wall
This past seasons end results falls squarely on the four guy’s shoulders, BB, SM, LF, and KD. Their individual decisions at different points from preseason onward have caused the team to fail yet again at basically the same point in the post season that they have during their tenure in Buffalo. The question now is, will they learn from their mistakes. I hope so, but I am also not holding my breath, odds are the same O-line with minor changes shows up again, and the DC will do all the same things, leading to yet another “same result” season. The team will be good, but won’t have high odds of winning a championship. -
Like it or not, Josh not taking the short open pass option to move the chains is the root problem behind his interceptions, and not winning in the tough post season games, well that, and a defensive coordinator that really needs to retire, he is old enough to collect social security…,

Some fans (bless their hearts) seem to think being elevated from IR means they are 100% back from injury, when it actually means they can now start their long recovery process towards playing at the same pre injury level, takes a year plus from elevation from IR to get to that point.

If they pay attention to the Offense then yes,

Why isn't Frazier interviewing for Head Coaching positions?
Don Otreply replied to fasteddie's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is a rhetorical question right? -
In the basic acquisitions part; at minimum two to three O-line men and a true #2 / 1b Wr, trade/ let Sweeney, McKenzie, go, trade /let go some of our D/line & A DB or two for picks, Keep John Brown at his low price, force Frazier out, wether Sean likes it or not, and figuratively kick Dorsey in the backside and force Josh to take more chain moving options when they are available instead of punting, (can’t score when you’re not on the field) Brady and Bellicheck killed it for decades taking those move the chain options. That’s it for now, GO BILLS!!!

Stanley Lombardi, hell of a guy, I think he played for MoTown…,

No Joe Bus, Burrow did not surpass Allen based on yesterday

Like it or not JB and the Bengals have done what JA and the Bills have not done, beat KC in the playoffs, and go to the super bowl, and they are likely to do it again this post season. So yes, JB has passed JA, sucks, but it is what it is. And it is on Beane and McDermotts hands that it has happened this way. -
5 years and one glaring weakness remains the same…..
Don Otreply replied to BillMafia716ix's topic in The Stadium Wall
It is and always will be about a quality O-line, or the lack there in. The powers that be don’t see this as being especially important, odds are they will continue to use bailing wire and chewing gum to piece together the O-line as they have pretty much done from the get go. Beane et all; are Cam Newtoning Josh’s career, it’s their version of doing the RG3 thing to him.
