  1. All three have modest contracts, none of them get out right cut, I can see Beane working one of them in a trade deal, we all know our GM & HC don’t give up on high draft picks when they are still in their first contracts…, Go Bills!!!
  2. “Settled” in which they know what they are willing to pay relevant to performance goals being met/ the Poyer(sp) outcome, hence, “or some such a thing” , OBD knows the steps they will take going forward concerning TE and Poyer(sp)
  3. All this noise about his re-signing is likely already settled business for OBD, and is not more than a timing issue with multiple contracts being on the table currently, or some such a thing. He may walk after this season, he may be making 15 million a year give or take, for three ish years after this season, no one here knows for certain, but back to the OP’s initial point, Marino lays it out in a reasonable fashion, with TE’s pluses and minuses in plain view…, not much else to say about the topic. My gut feeling is he gets re-signed at whatever rate that is I don’t care so much, the cap is “just accounting” and totally manipulated at need.
  4. I did say it was a well rounded critique. JM did state he is not a top tier salary candidate do to specific performance expectations, and I agree with that, I suspect Beane has made such a point directly to TE and his agent, I am also certain that Beane made it clear that pay is directly tied to game changing play/ splash play numbers. I expect him to be re-signed to a deal commiserate with his performance standing.
  5. Good info, and “well rounded to boot” Edmunds is the player that Joe Marino says he is, the TE detractors seem to not see the big picture or recognize that all of us ALREADY know what he needs to improve on” and that their repeated tunnel vision posts have now become a running joke on this board…, GO BILLS!!!
  6. Could very well be the case, we were all very slim, yet very fit young men in those days, the non linemen are all heavily muscled by comparison, that may have a bearing on resting HR, but I don’t know enough about physiology to draw any conclusion. In those days we were averaging over twenty mph for up to five ish hours at a time, with heart rates ranging from ninety to one hundred and ninety bpm, I used to be fit, not so much any more :). There is likely someone one or another on here who knows the answer. I have generally understood endurance athletes tend to be at the lower end of that spectrum…. But what do I know…,
  7. I’ve brought up the same O-line depth league wide point several times in the past, and neither of our non stop doom and gloom posters ever reply to the point, and that is quite telling to say the least…, it shallows their arguments,
  8. When Bado gets on a roll,.., lol, there’s no stopping him…, Go Bills!!!
  9. I don’t think this thread has near enough Tremaine Edmunds content, how’s bout stepping up your game people, Did anyone mention that he is still young, or that his splash play percentage isn’t what it could be…, if so isn’t this thread over? Go Bills!!!
  10. When I was racing road bikes in my younger years my resting heart rate was between 40 and 45 bpm, not out of the ordinary for that cohort, but if one is having any sort of heart issues, as you said, talk with your Doctor.
  11. To bad for us, it’s a case of MYOB. Go Bills!!!
  12. I’d answer that? But I will get banned for life, and none of “y’all” want that…, 😂
  13. Okay, how about this then, OJ Simpson * (psycho murderer later in life, but one of the very best running back ever while he was on the team…,) That pretty much covers it, don’t ya think? God I love sarcasm😁👍
  14. Outside of Davis who I believe is literally on the verge of putting his stamp on the league as an excellent #2, who would be the next nine “second tier” players on the Bills roster that we absolutely need to play well for a championship? Who y’all got? Not in any particular order; and somewhat of a WAG, Crowder McKenzie Singletary OJ Howard Elam Brown Bates Basham Epenesa Rousseau Go Bills!!!
  15. Kap was not inciting violence, he was not harming others, why should he suffer negative consequences? Really why? he merely pointed out inequalities in our society, where is the harm in doing that? Go Bills!!!
  16. The point is, as an American citizen he was exercising his completely legal constitutional rights, which other Americans evidently are more than happy to in effect take those constitutional rights from him, and in the future, from you and me too, whenever they don’t like what we have to say. Its about the rule of law, ask yourself, what does that say about those that would take those rights from him, or you, me or anyone else? Sounds exactly like what a Putin type does to those that disagrees with him in Russia, he silences them, and worse, and thats just damn UN-American, period! Semper Fi Go Bills!!!
  17. Me and the wife road our touring bikes on the Erie canal tow path from Buffalo to Albany flat as a pancake for ninety percent of the way, hits a bunch of little towns, you can detour off the tow path up the Genesse river into Rochester, its an easy ride as this sort of thing goes.
  18. Just a rehash of stuff that’s been talked about constantly by every sports talk outlet for quite some time now, not particularly interesting or entertaining, the only flash of something was that Josh is not, shall we say enthusiastic about the Players representation, the topic was quashed pretty much as soon as it came up, outside of that, a big yawner imo.
