Exactly this, It’s as if Sean can’t see the forest through the trees, O-line Sean, O-line…, you can’t go forward without protecting the most likely reason you may win the championship…, I will at present chock this up to rah rah coach-ism stuff, one can only hope so anyways…, Sadly though, I’m thinking that it will be another D-line guy in the first round… -
Isaiah Hodgins Bills made big mistake
Don Otreply replied to Chicagobills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Actually I mean he can catch the ball, unlike others who had problems doing so, he should have been used on the offense, and that ST comes a distance 2nd in importance to being a competent receiver, which he has shown to be, iirc he had noticeably more TDs than McKenzie, and was on par with Gabe’s production in points scored, so the the “couldn’t crack the roster” thing, is more that the OC couldn’t figure out what to do with him, and kept pushing the square peg into a round hole so to speak, versus anything else. STs has some importants, but not near the level that having a well rounded out WR group has, its l not even close. -

This special teams nonsense has got to be put to bed at some point, STs is where players that are bad at there primary positions get put for lack of something else to do with them, it’s the same on every team league wide, enough already. -

Your making me laugh, why so absolute in your thought process? I’m a former Marine, cuss words don’t faze me, lol 😁👍 GO BILLS!!!

Honest critique is not B wording, it is merely talking about what didn’t go as anticipated, and discussing what might make things better going forward, adults can do that sort of thing and not see the situation as either black or white, but more accurately many shades of grey…, now get your thoughts out of the gutter…, GO BILLS!!!

Beane/McDermott Speak to the Media at Scouting Combine
Don Otreply replied to Warcodered's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree, Every option is in a state of constant flux until the trigger is pulled in each and every round of the draft, and FA is in effect no different. -

We are blaming you Art, mostly for such a bad thread, you have been wanting to fire every head coach since way back in the BBMB days, not that some of them didn’t deserve to be fired, but it seems that this is all you got…. Be more creative going forward 😁👍 nuthin but luv,

With the major difference being that the rich folk rarely if ever get punished / see jail time, when they get caught red handed, unlike the rest of us, that and rich folk usually screw over large numbers of people at once when busy with their greed oriented schemes, just look at the scam which is the NFL stadium deals, leaves the non rich to pay for and up keep their infrastructure, they deserve every kick in the azs they get, every time they get kicked, they are the epitome of our lesser angels…, but some folk worship that sort of behavior, go figure.

McDermott & Beane have certainly saved the Bills from certain and near permanent purgatory/football hell, and we as fans are happy as hell about what they have achieved, and what the have achieved is no small thing. Does the above mean they are beyond critique? so far they are great during the regular season, but have come up lacking come post season. It is hoped by all of us that moving on from Frazier, and the other coaching changes are a sign they recognize this, and are taking the very hard decisions needed to push the organization into a position to truly take on the leagues best teams come the post season, I am hopeful yet apprehensive, and I suspect I am not alone in thinking this…, I’m 64 years old, and I want to see the Buffalo Bills win the championship before I am truly old, damn it! GO BILLS!!!

Could we as a group imagine what the league would be like if GMs & HCs said what they really think? It would be really entertaining, ie; so and so has not lived up to expectations, and is on thin ice with us, and he better get his head out of his azs real soon…, 😁👍

Exactly why they will just have to take their chances with CTE or worse, it’s football not a bunch of fashionistas at the mall clothing stores…, -
Lamar Jackson wants guarantees that exceed Watson contract
Don Otreply replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Exactly my point, now what’s the excuse that the Ravens have for making such an absurd offer to begin with?? Being that Lamar has peaked performance wise and is injury prone, and has missed a lot of games because of those injuries??? -
The Guardian Cap/ Much needed head protection/ Cleat design change
Don Otreply replied to Figster's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not seeing how any of that is relevant to protecting one’s brain 🧠, I guess if the big guys wearing tight pants find a device that so obviously protects their brains from injury (in a sport that such injuries happen frequently) not fashionable enough well those snowflakes will just have to take their chances of getting CTE or worse now won’t they…, -
Lamar Jackson wants guarantees that exceed Watson contract
Don Otreply replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
It confuses me that Lamar, or anyone for that matter would turn down something to the tune of one hundred and thirty million dollars guaranteed, likely with other cash for performance incentives on top of that. What is all the more confusing is that his team is making this offer to a QB that has so obviously already peaked performance wise, and is apparently injury prone. I’m trying to assess why the parties involved would make and, then in turn refuse the offer, is it a cognitive issue? Or is it uncontrolled greed/arrogance? I’m thinking it is both, by both entities. I will say Its is nice as a Bills fan to see another team having to deal with this complete and utter nonsense. -
The Guardian Cap/ Much needed head protection/ Cleat design change
Don Otreply replied to Figster's topic in The Stadium Wall
Likely not a comfort issue, it’s all about fashion over function, but hey, it’s not my brain 🧠…, -

Joe Marino Locked on Bills regarding DL
Don Otreply replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall
This has been correct, but the root cause is play design and scheming, are you say that Basham, Epenesa, et al; are they not used to their best effect? -
