Josh in an interview did use words in friendly way that our opponents had better protection and weapons, he did not say directly that he was upset, but one can infer that he saw teams doing a better job with their offenses than the Bills have been doing, and I am quite certain SD & JA talk to each other with some regularity, and most likely communicate their thoughts to the GM & HC in a professional manor. So, yes they are very likely not as happy as they would like to be, and that imo is a good thing, they want better, and are trying to get Beane to see things their way, again all done in a professional team building fashion.

Will DeAndre Hopkins be available this offseason?

That’s because they like their franchise QB, and value protecting him, 😁, (some sarcasm included) -

They did this in an attempt to assuage Mr fully guaranteed contract guy, and ya know, it won’t be enough to make any difference, Lamar is just going to continue to be Lamar, with his mom as his agent, and you know what? we have all seen this show before…, One can say something similar about the old San Diego Chargers with Rivers…,

Leslie Frazier will be back for the up coming season, and will continue to not make in game adjustments, and will be “let go” half way through the season, only to get hired by the Dolphins a week later, leading the charge for them to massive disappointment in the post season…, some things never change…

Brandon Beane Set To Double Down on 2022’s Big Disappointments
Don Otreply replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall
What it all comes down to is having healthy talented players, a coaching staff that utilizes their personnel in an advantages and unpredictable ways, and is actively willing to make meaningful adjustments on both sides of the ball as needed. It appears that during this past season we had not enough of any of those things to win through the post season, ( part of why Frazier is gone). The questions going forward are; 1) are our players healthy and talented enough, and 2) will our coaching staff step up and implement meaningful play design/scheme adjustments on both sides of the ball to reach the end goal? I think Beane & company believe they are, as to the fans confidence they pull it off? Well, that’s for each one of us to decide…, GO BILLS!!! -

There is no consensus from team to team and many time within a team, as to who the BPA is in the environment of the draft, BPA is always need driven, always. You are being obtuse, the Bills needed a quality QB for well over a decade pre Allen, the previous regimes inability to even give a good effort to get one and the results of that lackluster effort had become a running joke league wide, or had you not noticed?
-
BPA is AWAYS a perceived need, is subjective, and varies from round to round, and GM to GM, there is no consensus, ever.

Being that our OC and QB do not involve TEs with any frequency a WR is a more practical choice. Now if by chance our OC plans in utilizing ALL available weapons in his “scheme” then a TE could well be a good move, but according to what gets bandied around on this board, that a TE takes two to three years to develop…, I’m thinking WR or the best damn O-lineman that can start immediately, would still be the better choices. But we all know it’s going to be an Edge rusher…, 😁👍 GO BILLS!!!
