Bills are grandpa's based on average roster age.
Don Otreply replied to Chaos's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’m thinking that something around a year is nuthin to be concerned with, now if those Bills players were on average, say my age, with my medical history…, now that would be something that would likely frighten the entire fan base, just sayin, GO BILLS!!! -
There was a Chinese restaurant on Monroe Ave in Rochester (actually Brighton) called the “House of Poon” this was destined to happen…,

Beane on Rich Eisen - great listen and insight
Don Otreply replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
This ^^^ as well, the OC & the DC are also having opportunities to express their desire for certain players / positions that they want attention paid to, can’t see it being any other way, now of course when it comes down to it, it’s Beane who gets the final decision. -
Do you guys feel right about FA/Draft and the "Process" ?
Don Otreply replied to PrimeTime101's topic in The Stadium Wall
All this comes down to our coaching staff, both offense and defense being flexible enough in play design/ schemes to counter what our opponents are good at. I suspect we have enough talent to be successful, it boils down to the correct utilization of personnel and play design to keep opponents on their back foot. If we can do this we will succeed. No one likes to hear this, But Josh needs to mature ( for lack of a better word) a bit more on how he approaches his job as QB, by utilizing the RBs and short pass aspects of the game, when appropriate, should he do this he and the team will be more successful. -
Yup, lots of not adapting by the coaching staff to go around…,

Sadly his ankle has given him problems from the get go, hope it stays healthy going forward. If not then DK may end up as the # in receptions,

Bills sign Latavius Murray to a one-year deal
Don Otreply replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
That’s Latavius “Duke” Murray to you… -
It does make sense, seeing that many have virtually no chance of making the team, why waste resources on them when that time and energy can be better used to improve players that are more likely to be rostered.

Don’t poke the bear,

Yup, I think we see this in a similar light, 👍

I hear you, and agree, but to be proven as that threat, he has to have “done it”, and the sooner the better. Then what you are getting at, and what we all want will come to fruition. He will need to have early success in his first season to become that match up nightmare / threat going forward. It is between KD, JA, DK and the O-line to make this happen…
-
Are you purposefully brushing aside that top two defenses lack of Post season success? That lack of success is the elephant in the room, and is why Frazier is no longer the DC. Regular season success was never the issue, but more was required of Frazier and he couldn’t deliver when it counted the most… in the post season…,

Its when they put your ankle in a C-clamp and tighten it till you can’t take it any more…, maybe 😁

RD 5, Pick 150: WR Justin Shorter, Florida
Don Otreply replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
It just might be that after playing a big chunk of the season injured Josh might actually take to heart the benefit of the short / check down pass when it’s the right choice in the right circumstance, ya never know…, -
#1 is the prime mover here, not saying our offensive additions are not important, because they certainly are, but for the most part it has been the defense that has let the team down , and it wasn’t so much the players. It appears that Sean came to the same conclusion, hence the changes going forward, fingers crossed that the O-line makes a significant jump in performance, it must happen for future success. I’m feeling confident that we are doing the right things to take care of those issues we all saw.

What does our O-Line look like now?
