Rather succinct of you OP, you hit the nail on the head. Beane & Mcdermott really need to stop with the Idea that the Offense will work being held together with duct tape and bailing wire, it’s past time to actually build a power house offense, hell, they might even win a championship if they do…, GO BILLS!!!

I hear what the OP is getting at, we do need some luck, but more so than that, we need a competent O-Line and a better #2 WR, as well as some real innovation with our OC’s & DC’s play designs…, now where’s that horse, and what did i do with my club…, GO BILLS!!!

Yup, that STs 1/3 of the game nonsense has wasted a lot of roster spots and related money over the years, STs is and always will be the red headed step child of NFL teams/players, its rare that anyone actually cares about STs,, its just coach talk/lip service.

What is with this unhealthy affection for special teams players???

In hind sight, I didn’t realize Dorsey and Josh were that buddy buddy, not a good thing in the Boss employee relationship, an OC needs to be able to kick his QB in the azs (figuratively) from time to time, and that certainly hasn’t happened since Dorsey took over, also agree on the lack of innovation in play development by our OC, GO BILLS!!!

I started a near identical thread about five days ago, O-line was number one in that thread as well. Now the real question is, will Beane and McDermott see the light? Me, imo, 60/40 against them giving more than eye wash to the O-line, and that being optimistic on my behalf, basing this on past performance by both of their pretty obvious preferences, GO BILS!!!

Agree, Dorsey ended up making the offense very predictable with his play calling, and personnel usage, his schemes overall lacked creativity, and made winning games harder than it should have been as the regular season progressed, and made it extremely difficult to win in the post season, as we all witnessed, we all hope the proverbial light goes on for him. GO BILLS!!!

Lee and many others are missing the point of the critiques of our coordinators, it’s not totally about the regular season , although there is some there, it’s the lack of capacity by our coordinators, both Frazier and Dorsey, but mostly Frazier, to adjust their schemes to fit the the game flow, or as is said, they don’t make in game adjustments, in a fashion that achieves anything that helps the team post season, again, post season, Frazier has openly admitted he is loath to make any changes in his game plan during games, to include the post season, when it’s all on the line, his defensive scheme, although functional in the regular season, has failed for three consecutive post seasons, in a notably fashion, that is why many fans are a bit miffed at the coaches. So Lee, get your head out of your backside, and comment on what we are talking about, that might be useful…, GO BILLS!!!

We spent this past season “exploring” the other way for the most part, it didn’t work, the teams and QBs that win championship do it with a mix of pass distances, running the ball and keeping the defense honest as the saying goes,
