With the major difference being that the rich folk rarely if ever get punished / see jail time, when they get caught red handed, unlike the rest of us, that and rich folk usually screw over large numbers of people at once when busy with their greed oriented schemes, just look at the scam which is the NFL stadium deals, leaves the non rich to pay for and up keep their infrastructure, they deserve every kick in the azs they get, every time they get kicked, they are the epitome of our lesser angels…, but some folk worship that sort of behavior, go figure.

McDermott & Beane have certainly saved the Bills from certain and near permanent purgatory/football hell, and we as fans are happy as hell about what they have achieved, and what the have achieved is no small thing. Does the above mean they are beyond critique? so far they are great during the regular season, but have come up lacking come post season. It is hoped by all of us that moving on from Frazier, and the other coaching changes are a sign they recognize this, and are taking the very hard decisions needed to push the organization into a position to truly take on the leagues best teams come the post season, I am hopeful yet apprehensive, and I suspect I am not alone in thinking this…, I’m 64 years old, and I want to see the Buffalo Bills win the championship before I am truly old, damn it! GO BILLS!!!

Could we as a group imagine what the league would be like if GMs & HCs said what they really think? It would be really entertaining, ie; so and so has not lived up to expectations, and is on thin ice with us, and he better get his head out of his azs real soon…, 😁👍

Exactly why they will just have to take their chances with CTE or worse, it’s football not a bunch of fashionistas at the mall clothing stores…, -
Lamar Jackson wants guarantees that exceed Watson contract
Don Otreply replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Exactly my point, now what’s the excuse that the Ravens have for making such an absurd offer to begin with?? Being that Lamar has peaked performance wise and is injury prone, and has missed a lot of games because of those injuries??? -

Not seeing how any of that is relevant to protecting one’s brain 🧠, I guess if the big guys wearing tight pants find a device that so obviously protects their brains from injury (in a sport that such injuries happen frequently) not fashionable enough well those snowflakes will just have to take their chances of getting CTE or worse now won’t they…, -
Lamar Jackson wants guarantees that exceed Watson contract
Don Otreply replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
It confuses me that Lamar, or anyone for that matter would turn down something to the tune of one hundred and thirty million dollars guaranteed, likely with other cash for performance incentives on top of that. What is all the more confusing is that his team is making this offer to a QB that has so obviously already peaked performance wise, and is apparently injury prone. I’m trying to assess why the parties involved would make and, then in turn refuse the offer, is it a cognitive issue? Or is it uncontrolled greed/arrogance? I’m thinking it is both, by both entities. I will say Its is nice as a Bills fan to see another team having to deal with this complete and utter nonsense. -

Likely not a comfort issue, it’s all about fashion over function, but hey, it’s not my brain 🧠…, -

Joe Marino Locked on Bills regarding DL

This has been correct, but the root cause is play design and scheming, are you say that Basham, Epenesa, et al; are they not used to their best effect? -

Leslie Frazier "taking a year off from coaching" per Bills PR
Don Otreply replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
Hopefully it will go far enough, 🤞 like I said in the post you responded to, “maybe” McDermott realizes his scheme needs adjustments, 🤞 and we all know Leslie is not one to make adjustments ever. Fingers crossed that it will be change for the better, -
Leslie Frazier "taking a year off from coaching" per Bills PR
Don Otreply replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
Leslie doesn’t need you to defend him, he has been a good regular season DC, the record says as much, but come playoff time his scheme showed to be lacking, repeatedly, and as is the norm in the NFL, he was shown the door, in a gracious manor by his boss. Maybe if we are fortunate, McDermott has seen the light and realizes that the defense needs schematic help, and we all know Leslie was not going to make adjustments, he never has, so it is what it is, Leslie retires a rich man, with a fine reputation. All is good. GO BILLS!!! -
Leslie Frazier "taking a year off from coaching" per Bills PR
Don Otreply replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
If this is what it sounds like, LF is gone, and his replacement is already on board. Maybe just maybe we will see, a defensive scheme that is not identical from game to game, and actual adjustments during games that have actual effect on outcomes, or is this just misguided hope? Frazier is an overall good person and I wish nothing but the best for him, enjoy your retirement Leslie! GO BILLS!!! -
Joe Marino Locked on Bills regarding DL
Don Otreply replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall
It is more a DC problem than a player problem, imo we have sufficient talent, it is just not being schemed for success. LF is far to rigid in his scheming and prefers contain vs an attacking style Defense, that works reasonably well against the average to lesser teams, hence our regular season record, but when it comes to playing the elite teams in post season games his scheme is just to predictable, and good HCs and their coordinators have shown that they know how to beat his scheme, three seasons in a row now…, and yet he still pretty much refuses to make adjustments to counter the best teams, and here we are in discussion about this yet again. GO BILLS!!! -
Don't like drafting for need just for need sake.
Don Otreply replied to gjv's topic in The Stadium Wall
Getting “Prime assets” are a “need” for every team, all draft picks are for need…, BPA/BPA at position of need are both needs, it is never not done for a perceived need. -

My four bedroom colonial with an attached two car garage in Brighton (just outside of Rochester) has the same property tax as my Two bedroom Cape Cod in West Hartford Ct. but if I had gone for a similar four bedroom place in West Hartford taxes would have been 20k and higher annually, and rising depending on location…, but there are benefits to high tax locations, folk tend to not realize this till they find out the services that they had grown used to tend to not compare in lower property tax locations, we have friends that moved to Sarasota, (Gated community) thinking there tax /overhead costs would be lower but it turned out to be a push according to them, property tax and hurricane and flood insurance etc. there is no free lunch.

I’ll start this off with, we are light years ahead of the drought years, and we are all happy as hell about that, but now it’s about fine tuning/ making effective adjustments throughout the season. Dorsey’s offense became very predictable, and had next to zero flow from play to play, this was pointed out by former NFL QBs, sure we squeaked by a lot of opponents in the regular season, but come post season, going against the best teams Dorsey in effect did nothing to mix things up to put the opponents on their back foot, he did not put his players in a position to be successful, and we got soundly trounced by the Bengals. The same can be said about our defense, no adjustments to keep Opponents offenses guessing, it’s year three of post season failings on Frazier/ McDermott, and the buck stops at McDermotts desk…, coaches are responsible for play design/scheme, and bringing in players that aren’t performing to expectations, then continuing to roll it back season after season. GO BILLS!!!
