So unfortunately true, and so very sad. Folk who live an insular lifestyle tend to be the ones who lash out verbally and literally, giving no credence to others views or well-being, it is a sad state of affairs and it has infected our entire country. We don’t have to agree about everything, but we should be kind to one another. -

Okay, imo, the starting Offense should have been more thoroughly prepped in the preseason games, and they weren’t, they were very “rusty” as the saying goes. We as well were implementing a new offensive scheme, what football nerds call “12 personnel”, with a lot of underneath passing, something Josh finds hard to wrap his head around, he did not trust the game plan in other words. Josh then reverted to the long ball, when his teammates had been practicing a short throw offense for weeks, so Josh making, shall we say, “ poor decisions”, otherwise known as stupid throws into multiple coverage…, is this explanation working for you? Anyway that’s how I read what happened and why, GO BILLS!!!

USFL-XFL merge; become UFL w/USFL and XFL divisions

So neither league is financially sound and both are hopping that by merging they might survive, wishful thinking, at best it gives them one more season, and then “POOF” they were gone, -

To All You Dorsey/McD Haters What Say You Now ?
Don Otreply replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall
The jets game was disjointed, primarily because preseason games are no longer used to ready the starting offense, they barely play, and come the first game they were still ironing out the wrinkles, and it showed. 2nd game, they got serious, and played the way they should have in the first game, let’s see how this progresses through the early parts of the season, and if Josh continues to play “smart” and take advantage of his weapons. 3rd, Dorsey needs to continue to game plan and sequence his play calls correctly for each opponent. I think that Josh embarrassing himself thoroughly in the Jets game will have a lasting effect on his decision making for the better, and that will be beneficial to the teams end goals, jmo. GO BILLS!!! -

This is a case of an in season QB injury being in effect, no different than a preseason QB injury, sucks for them, good for everyone who plays them…, -
Leonard Floyd and Micah Hyde say they're all good
Don Otreply replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
My Uber driver today is Skins fan, had the game marked down as a loss, says it’s a wait and see if the new owner really is an upgrade, says his team sucks, so I think we got this game covered, 😁👍 -
I think that if the “coaches “ quickly rein him in when he back slides we will be fine, but they need to actually do it.

Not what I was getting at, you lamented the lack of long passes, I explained why it isn’t a concern, that’s what the board is about, 😁👍

Kind of a shallow view of what was going on, Allen played smart, took what he was given by the Raiders defense, and low and behold we kicked azs. The game plan will change from week to week, but you can bet that we will see a lot of underneath passes from Josh this season, doing so will open up the longer passes in due time, and guess what, we have a running game that scored points to boot, all good stuff to see.

Is Josh a mediocre QB right now? And does it matter?
Don Otreply replied to Beck Water's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Raiders game is a classic example of Josh following the script, and taking what a defense gives him, and as I stated up thread, he and the team were very successful doing so, I hope he has had the message drilled into his mind, I do think it will stick this time. GO BILLS!!! -

Imo, Josh is “mostly” a one track mind QB, in reality he is a spread system type QB, one or two good reads, pass or scramble guy, he doesn’t trust his teammates to do their jobs when the chips are down, and our OC and HC won’t let him know In concrete terms when he is f-ing up the game plan and reign him in, when Josh follows the scrip and takes available pass options he is very successful, but he isn’t consistent enough to do so on a regular basis, he could be a truly great QB, but at this rate, he will peak as a good QB, after all, it’s year six and he is still making bad decisions with frequency, this needs to change.
