  1. It does make sense, seeing that many have virtually no chance of making the team, why waste resources on them when that time and energy can be better used to improve players that are more likely to be rostered.
  2. Well, I think it’s more along the lines of, they know how to use a TE in there system, better that we do at present.
  3. Yup, I think we see this in a similar light, 👍
  4. I hear you, and agree, but to be proven as that threat, he has to have “done it”, and the sooner the better. Then what you are getting at, and what we all want will come to fruition. He will need to have early success in his first season to become that match up nightmare / threat going forward. It is between KD, JA, DK and the O-line to make this happen…
  5. Are you purposefully brushing aside that top two defenses lack of Post season success? That lack of success is the elephant in the room, and is why Frazier is no longer the DC. Regular season success was never the issue, but more was required of Frazier and he couldn’t deliver when it counted the most… in the post season…,
  6. Its when they put your ankle in a C-clamp and tighten it till you can’t take it any more…, maybe 😁
  7. It just might be that after playing a big chunk of the season injured Josh might actually take to heart the benefit of the short / check down pass when it’s the right choice in the right circumstance, ya never know…,
  8. #1 is the prime mover here, not saying our offensive additions are not important, because they certainly are, but for the most part it has been the defense that has let the team down , and it wasn’t so much the players. It appears that Sean came to the same conclusion, hence the changes going forward, fingers crossed that the O-line makes a significant jump in performance, it must happen for future success. I’m feeling confident that we are doing the right things to take care of those issues we all saw.
  9. It seems like you don’t like much the last two days, 😂
  10. Way to go guys! We can hit 300 pages easily now, go go go!!!
  11. I was thinking the same thing on the 3 LB sets, iirc McDermott said something or another about some changes to the defense, this would be the most likely of adjustments imo.
  12. In answer to your question, in a word, Yes.
  13. Lots of factors go into. Why things happen the way they did, Gabe seemingly is nursing an ankle injury most years, LIL Dirty didn’t step up, the preferred starting slot receiver broke his ankle, and Shakir in his rookie season, the O-line was a mess, I could go on…, so ya, lots of unforeseen things get in the way of success, Did KD have some leaning to do? Yup, sure did, so now we have a OC with live fire experience under his belt, and has likely had a sit down with his bosses about personnel usage etc etc, I think you get where I’m going with this so…,
  14. Except the starting QB injured his elbow on his throwing arm, a player temporarily died on the field of play, one of our top shelf safeties was out with a neck injury, but ya, no excuses…,
  15. O-line ideally, imo we could stand to have a top five unit in front of Allen.
  16. The last paragraph was all you needed to type to make your point, 😁 Yes Dorsey needs to have better play designs so that one play helps support the next play etc etc, I’m going with KD being better with a season of being an OC behind him, 🤞
  17. Best? Only if the O-line is top five, then plays can develop and #17 can pick apart defenses, jmo.
  18. Those words you keep on saying, I do not think they mean what you think they mean…,
