  1. Horrible deep throw. That ball was placed way too far inside. need to put it up back shoulder or outside leverage. Keon had enough room on sideline to work. The reason that ball was thrown inside is because Mitch missed outside in first half. Bad play by Mitch
  2. I'd like to see us be able to run/take a couple deep shots to Keon on offense. And force Milton into a turnover, few sacks in 2nd half. We've just missed. 23-20 Bills win.
  3. Cook is worth bottom end tier 1 RB money, IMO. Explosive, great vision/acceleration,vastly improved yards after contact. Can't ignore his TD production, and he's our biggest home run threat. Yeah, he doesn't play 3rd downs because of pass pro. He's simply our best playmaker on offense, not named Josh Allen.
  4. Broncos are 4-5 on the road, and that has been recent/season long struggle for them. Rookie Nix coming to Buffalo for playoffs, I'm not concerned whatsoever. It's divisional round that will likely be Ravens. They are the best offense in NFL IMO, has been getting back on track. Turnovers and forcing a very inconsistent Tucker to kick in swirling winds will be the difference.
  5. I like where we're at right now, without any more injuries. It will honestly come down to getting 1-2 key stops/turnovers, when playing elite offenses. Top in forced turnovers, pressure % is solid as is a low missed tackle rate. What scares me is lack of speed in secondary/YAC, and most importantly Red zone efficiency. Need to clamp up inside the 20. We will absolutely need to continue winning the turnover margin, or get significantly better at forcing FGs rather than TDs.
  6. Our depth is absolutely better and Cook is a borderline upper echelon RB, improving each year. Said it in August and will say it again: 1. Decrease offensive turnovers 2. Improve playcalling 3. Improve OL play 4. Improved situational football/redzone efficiency Every box above has been checked. Brady has done an excellent job putting our guys in great position and Josh has vastly improved decision making. When you see that and a run game become a major part of our offense, you win a ton a games. Not discounting the depth, but best thing Beane and McD did was promote Brady to OC and get Josh to take on a greater leadership role/loosen the reigns and put him in more control.
  7. No reason to elevate White. If Mitch goes down, we switch to wildcat/use a RB. Our top elevations should be at RB and WR. Whoever has eligibility at WR, Shavers perhaps. And Gore. Protect Cook/our trio. Limit our rotation of top WRs. And likely Samuel is out again.
  8. Can only elevate 2 from P/S, some fans tend to forget this. It's also very challenging to plan around backups playing and S/T. Roster mgt in these situations aren't a preseason event at all...some starters will need to play significant snaps.
  9. Colemans antics? This after you mock Keon as a "football savant". Dude get a grip. Keon pointed up, no antics/etc, Keon is the exact opposite of Diggs' diva personality. Just shows your lack of knowledge and/or dislike of Keon already. I suppose all rookies should keep their mouth shut and never gesture at Josh on the field, ever again.
  10. Stupid strategy to avoid 2 seed in fear of Bengals. First off, I'll give you 10-1 odds if you think Cincy is getting the 7 seed. Even beating Denver, they need help and take care of business week 18. 2nd, if we get to the divisional round home field advantage is huge. I don't care we lost at home past 2 seasons, you always want to play at home period.
  11. Maybe it's been talked about, but he has a chance of achieving some special single season feats in Bills history: 1. Rushing TDs: currently at 14, if I'm not mistaken OJ holds our record at 17 2. Rushing+Receiving TDs: OJ had 23 in '75 (his unreal yr), but James might be only our 2nd player to hit 20+ in 1 year? Currently at 16. For a player who caught grief early in his career, this was a gem of a pick by Beane. Cook has taken another leap since LY, and flourishes in Bradys offense. Has a 2nd gear second to maybe Saquon in open field. His vision, strength, and ability to create yardage after contact has been next level in 2024. For some who were expecting Ray Davis to being splitting carries (or even our 1a) by now, Cook proved those doubters wrong. Not gonna dig up that offseason thread, but too many dismissed how special Jimbo can be. I think most will agree this is our best RB room in a long while. More importantly, this has completely balanced and made our offense more dangerous without a stud Wr1. I'm too lazy to look, but as an offense, we might be close to breaking a team rushing TD record as well. Kudos to oline as well.
  12. Yeah it's man to man. But again, every CB has that responsibility in the NFL. Elam got beat initially and didn't get his head around. Definition of an avg corner. Elam is a more athletic Dane Jackson, more upside, less.consistent, and not a willing tackler. Elam will be replaced as soon as his contract expires, he fits the outside CB3 role until then. We will be drafting a corner somewhere in the 2nd-4th range next year, who will compete for CB2.
  13. Elam is inconsistent and lacks awareness in general. I want him to succeed, but even on that 1st TD throw, he needs to get his head around. Only reason he had to recover is he's slow to move his feet/recognize the route. He's amazingly athletic, but isn't twitchy and slow to recognize most route concepts. Not to mention he's not an aggressive tackler. Too often he "received" the blow. He's an average player. Flashes at times. There's a reason Vanpelt barely attacked Benford. Said a million times, if Elam wasn't a 1st rounder, everyone would be agreeing that he's average and have no problem when he's a healthy scratch.
  14. This exactly. And we've missed on them all. We are playing trying to cover the spread. Play smart, get back to our kind of ball.
  15. NE def going for this. Waiting for playaction
  16. Smiley should've been canned already...
  17. We've seen this philosophy work very well, it's ill timed defensive calls and players missing assignments. But im not at all for matching up man to man with Spector or Bishop.
  18. Babich just isn't ready for this role. Defense has literally been a bottom 3 unit over the past month. McD needs to take control, Babich will have to put his pride to the side, he has plenty else to worry about
  19. Big play to Cooper upcoming. Feeling a post shot.
  20. Refs missed the most crucial play of the game. 4th and 5, obvious false starts that ultimately ate more clock and cost us 4 pts
  21. Bad timeout/playcall. But these refs messed up a lot of calls, in key situations. I support our men. When these refs make an appearance in Buffalo, and they will, I'm ready to verbally abuse to the greatest degree possible.
  22. should've been 4th and 10, false starts. Can't play the refs in a close game.
  23. Refs holding those offensive holds. We need to bring the house
  24. Agree....except 1. This is a BS officiating day in general.
  25. This drive will decide if it's gonna be a Ravens type loss, or a chance to get back into
