  1. LFG defense. Babich/McD get some great calls. We have the momentum, be aggressive!
  2. Any updates on Taron? Last heard he was questionale
  3. Not on Brady. It's on our defense letting the Cards drain the clock and score Tds on 2/3 drives + 1 FG Babich/MCd need a new plan for 2nd half
  4. Exactly. Go down and get some points to start 2nd half and it's a major momentum shift
  5. When we haven't stopped them 1x in the single half, I'd call it masterful to get a double dip and tie this on 1st drive in 2nd half.
  6. Browns false start was legit. Dawkins was a horrible call, you're allowed to settle into stance/he wasn't set yet. Zero penalties on Cards, when their tackles half left early a split second early multiple times.... Refs either call it both ways or just let it play out
  7. Look at TOP. This is not the time to do a bend/not break defense. Babich and Coach really messed up this 1st half
  8. We need at least a FG here before the half. We have to make this a 17-13 game before Cards get the ball back
  9. Yeah the zone calls are confusing our own secondary. And we're way too slow reacting (on players)
  10. This is partly on Babich gameplan/calls. Playing too conservative in zones and contain with ends. Just letting Kyler pick his poison.
  11. 1 drive, let's see what happens rest of the way. I saw 1-2 false starts not called
  12. All this negativity and doubt. OL/DL will be the key. Do we see an even better IOL? Does Von get back to 90% of himself? Does Groot turn into a major force pass rushing? I'm far less worried than most about our weapons on offense and our safeties. If answer is YES, to even 1 of 3 above then I think we're about even as LY. Not to mention Brady is a big upgrade over Dorsey, IMO. And I expect to see fewer turnovers/better decision making by Josh.
  13. I'm all about protecting Josh, first. And getting him weapons, second. A good to great OL can cure alot of problems. Also, if we're talking trade offs of cap space/investment. I'd much rather Beane continue his trend of investing top end picks at WR. FA WR money is just stupid right now. We don't know Browns $ yet, but having both OTs locked up is huge. Coming into next year, we'll have a 3rd year TE (1st rd), 2nd yr WR (2nd rd), and a 4th year RB (2nd rd). Add another WR in Rd1 or Rd2, and we're set at skill spots. Depending on what they do with Knox, perhaps a TE2 will be on the radar. To go along with McGovern, a 3rd year OG (2nd rd), and potentially a replacement LG or in house option. I'd say Beane has set us up for success. Contrary to many beliefs on here. The Diggs dead cap is the elephant in the room.
  14. Congrats to Jessica and Pegula family! Pretty big deal to make the finals. If you believe in Omens, maybe this could be a magic season for us
  15. Let's see if Araiza can actually pin inside the 20
  16. Go use that expert skill of predicting the future, and put it to good use. You're clearly overqualified for this baord
  17. He's been seeking it with Watson, who he ran over earlier. Trash talking getting to Lamar
  18. The difference is OL, as you pointed out. That makes all the difference in the world. Both OGs are getting manhandeld
  19. best part is it's the same sideline official. two years in a row, for Taylor
  20. Why? We are going to be heavily utilizing our RBs. If Cook or Ty goes down, Gore just isn't ready. His pass blocking just isn't ready and is a plodder (doesn't replace either skillset). IR Evans, if someone goes down we have our RB3. It's a calculated insurance policy, injuries happen
  21. Taylor has a major tell, he either has his kick leg 1-2 yards back (pass), or he's even in a drive stance for run plays.
  22. You're wrong on this one pal. Evans was kept for depth, that's why he was IRd. If all RBs are healthy when his IR window expires, he'll be let go
  23. Monkey getting severely outcoached. Need to be using Likely and Andrews more often
  24. Ha, Ok. I agree players get better, and Ty is better than Evans. So answer this, if Evans was higher on the depth chart, why did Evans get a solid chunk of playing time in preseason Game 3, while all starters and key backups (including Ty) did NOT play?
  25. And that's why Evans was on the P/S last season down the stretch, while Ty was active? Yep makes alot of sense
