Week 9 - Dolphins at Bills Game Week Thread

Hope you're right, but it's crap like this that jinxes things. Better hope we're ahead at the half now...you'll be on the most wanted list if not 😁 -
TNF. Jets Texans. Who do we want to win tonight?
MasterStrategist replied to Billyhouseman's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not so sure. Nico comes back, Fairbairn with a horrible night. Biggest thing, short week travelling to Houston losing Diggs to a season ending injury. Not a team in thr best of spirits. They'll lose a few more, but they aren't "ass" and have a very good defense. -

Don't underestimate the Steelers. I expect them to win that division if they stay mostly healthy. Their defense is much better than the Ravens. Wilson is serviceable. Tomlin is a good coach for the flack he gets in Pittsburgh. They're not a 2 seed team, but wouldn't surprise me they challenge for the 3rd. -

What's up with Stroud laying on the ground like a ***** after every sack. Making it easy to root against. -

Too much football to play, to be rooting for Jets right now. Injuries, etc-season can change real quick. Houston is already weakened. Bury the Jets and take down Miami on Sunday. Then we can start having more of these conversations. -
I'd take Chargers. Winston has always been inconsistent, and Ravens were very mistake prone to even make that a contest and down multiple starters in secondary

Week 9 - Dolphins at Bills Game Week Thread

Regarding Cooper, wrist could be a multitude of things. Nothing reason to panic yet. Will be a positive to see him practicing tomorrow though. EDIT: Joe Buscaglia reporting Cooper was on practice field going thru all the WR drills today. -
I like your selections, except I'd take Bears and Pack. From the top list, I'd take: Denver, Raiders, Philly, and KC.

What does Elam and a pick get you in this market?
MasterStrategist replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
Run the cap numbers and get back to me. Spoiler: It won't work. Plus, any play Elam is next man up at boundary corner. That's more valuable than any "realistic" trade will garner us. -
Had to, his IR window was closing/closed. Either activated to 53 or needed cut. To your 1st point, it's quite simple--- we knew that our identity to start the year would be running and utilizing our RBs. We had a rookie RB in Davis, no guarantee that he'd pan out. Also no guarantee that our Top 3 RBs would be mostly healthy at this juncture. Basic insurance policy.

Diontae Johnson to the Ravens (now claimed by Houston)
MasterStrategist replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
Think it's even less than 900k. Diontae is inconsistent and can be a locker room disaster, if he's not getting his targets. Contract implication similar to Cooper, but far different players on different talent level. Cooper is the better WR IMO, without the headaches of a diva WR--clearly a focus after Diggs departure.
