  1. Yep. He is top notch character and work ethic. I think he can make this team.next season
  2. Yes...he was so.close to.returning to NC to be an assistant RB coach. Mack Brown raved about him. Williams fought through some ankle.issues for MC last yr. But the.kid.is tough and works extremely hard. Big moment for him, you can tell the coaches and team are.pumped for him
  3. Cool take bro. Thats now 2 big plays since you posted your fantastic assessment
  4. Hmmm really, 0% you say. You've been hyping this dolphins getting points and bills resting starters all.week. What happened?
  5. Sounds like pure speculation on Morts part. Id take it more serious if he had some additional context, ie: beasleys specific ailment. thx for posting tho
  6. Still on the covid list, unless I missed something
  7. I get where you're coming from, good thought. However, what if Team A has their "priority player" test positive/close contact week 1, then team 2 has same situation week 2. Delays in schedule could be unreasonable, and would possibly impact all playoff teams getting a schedule delay (depending on what round this occurs). I could see this as a possibility for super bowl only, but highly doubt it will happen. Granted this yr is crazy, but every season key players get injured. We aren't going to delay the super bowl 1 week so all of a sudden player A with a sprained knee can be available, so why do it for Covid? I would see if a team outbreak occurs, which is exactly what the NFL has been doing
  8. No they did not. Last year was the first time, that I recall, that afc and nfc were split on separate days. I think it makes a lot of sense to keep on separate days (ie: Bills wouldn't play Saturday, steelers sunday, if both win they play following Saturday as an example would benefit buffalo).
  9. Yes, looks like Haden tested positive. Which would put his wildcard availability i. jeopardy. That would be a huge blow to the Steelers
  10. Very likely that the NFL will follow past seasons and announce the official dates/times of the playoffs, by tomorrow night (approx 830 pm est). As of now, we know the following: 1. 1st round: 3 games will be played on each of Saturday and Sunday 2. Those games will be at 1pm, 4:40pm and 8:15pm. My assumptions, note these are not confirmed or official: 1. AFC/NFC on a single day: like last yr, I will guess the NFL will schedule all AFC games on a single day (same for Nfc games). Especially to eliminate any competitive advantage of a team getting a day more or less to rest, I think NFL goes this route. 2. Saturday vs Sunday: last yr, NFL put AFC on Saturday. I think there is a solid chance this is flipped this year, considering it does disadvantage Afc teams to play with 1 less day of rest heading into playoffs. the other consideration, mentioned in the COVID thread, is regard to any outbreak or team specific situations. NFL might see a team such as Cleveland and decide its best to put AFC on Sunday. Many factors to consider I'm sure, but my guess is Afc on Sunday. 3. Seeding and timeslot: last yr, the NFL put the 4/5 seed game.early then the 3/6. Following suit under the new playoff system, I think the NFL will schedule all 4 seeds at 1pm, 3 seed at 4:40pm, and 2 seed at 8:15 (prime slot). Guess / preference: 1. be interesting to know what everyone prefers, date/time slot. Please share what you are hoping for 2. My guess is Bills clinch 2 seed and play Sunday night at 8:15, imo, the premier timeslot round 1. What do you think will occur? If nothing else, hope this helps provide informative info of the new playoff system (time slots) until NFL releases more detail. Go Bills!
  11. Not yet. I was a noon time slot, plenty of 2 ticket pods are left. I am not able to attend, due to being out of state and thr 2-3 advanced testing at the stadium is just a big time burden. But I looked around to available seats and saw quite a few. I actually wouldn't be shocked to see tickets go unsold. As I called a ticket rep yesterday, they said a lot of out of towners (like myself) have been calling to ask about the testing. I suspect 25% of the STH reside outside buffalo region (maybe in Canada, or PA or further). Couple that with ppl who are brokers, those aren't getting resold...so I think ppl will have a shot to get seats
  12. Additional info, after speaking with a ticket rep just now...this is more geared toward those out of state: 1. Covid testing: confirmed it must be performed at stadium lot 4. the team did try to get flexibility to use other labs/testing locations, but that was not approved by NYSH dept. 2. Testing dates: 2-3 days in advance, with game day /time unknown the expectation is for Wed-Thur likely, possibly thur-fri. Saturday is a definite no, as expected 3. Testing time /scheduling : biotechnology lab will email the account holder after tickets are purchased to schedule at lot 4. The team is working with biotechnology on a "13 hour testing window" each day, to accommodate travelers or working schedules. 9pm-10pm shut down time was mentioned as possibiltity, which may be helpful Hope this helps any fellow out of state sth
  13. Sorry maybe we listened to different links...here is what I listened to: can you provide the link to what you are referring to? thanks
  14. Thanks! I am thankful fans are allowed back, but as an out of town STH, I have to say it is crazy that the covid testing must be administered at the Bills stadium lot 4. Are all player families, media personnel, etc (even Cuomo himself) being held to thr same standard? I am not familiar that other nfl teams are putting this stringent of guidelines in place for the 2-3 day prior testing, maybe they are. I get the precaution, but it would be nice to have some flexibility around lab centers/testing sites...perhaps that will be adjusted in the future
  15. I also suspect Decastro to get limited snaps on the oline. Cant rest/not dress everyone, so some guys will dress an be emergency backups. On defense, same will likely go for Haden/Nelson/Fitzpatrick. Steelers are in a different boat, having not had a bye week since forever (was disrupted by Titans COVID situation). I still think they can beat the Browns, given all the COVID situation with Cleveland currently
  16. He did mention Beasley, as he was asked specifically if there was an update, but just said he is still week to week and going through rehab. Nothing new to go off of
  17. Mcdermott also was asked if Beasleys status has changed, or if there were any updates... His response, Beasley is going through all the rehab and is still week'to-week. So much uncertainty still, Josh's comments yesterday had some optimism (about beas returning this week or next, possibly). Bug thing will be watching the injurybreports to see he gets a limited practice in this week, even if he's doesn't play this week but practices limited that will be encouraging
  18. Parker was also limited last week too, but would agree he's probably pretty close to returning.
  19. Great news, I think. Still a lot unknown until we here from Beas himself (unlikely), or see if he gets in a limited practice. Listening to the Josh Allen press conference, he certainly sounded optimistic to me.
  20. My guess is that there will be. The 13k number earlier was "tickets", not account holders. On top of that: 1. Pods of 2 or 4 only: this will have a decent impact i think. Say someone has 3 or 5+ tickets, well you have to take that math into account that they won't have access to the extra seats 2. Brokers: if any brokers "opted in", i would say slim chances they are attending. with the restrictions on ticket transfer, testing, and identification 3. Out of staters / Canadian fans: as you pointed out, the restrictions have a huge impact on out of state residents. Specifically the 2-3 advanced testing at the stadium, this is going to deter a good portion od this group (myself included, and I'm a diehard fan who would attend if testing could be done at a closer facility to where I live) 4. Ppl who aren't risking: some of the opt in group may just decide not to attend, due to all the rules/restrictions and overall covid concerns
  21. Same here, 1/1 at noon. 15 yr ticket holder. Too complicated with the requirement to be tested at the stadium lot 2-3 days in advance, wish they would allow from other labs. But I get it
  22. I'm in the same boat, agree with everything you said
  23. 1. STH who.opted in, will be given priority based on seniority 2. No public sale or secondary market 3. STH who buy for wild card round, are not eligible for division round (if we advance and fans still allowed)
