  1. Haha, well I guess it's all Tre Whites fault 🤣
  2. Thats a joke right? In no possible way was that Edmunds responsibility.
  3. Agree. Expect Watt gets his record breaking deal done after this weekend. But every day that passes, looking more likely Tuitt misses week 1 or longer. Big loss for their dline, he had 10 sacks last yr
  4. Yes. Go after Justin Layne or Pierre outside, and whoever wins their nickle corner spot. We have a distinct advantage there, and expect them to run a lot of dime/blitzing like they did 1st half last year. I'd expect us to try testing their new/young oline by lining up with alot of "sugar" looks and safety/nickle blitzes.
  5. I've used a multitude of sources, and will always check "rotoworld" (search the player I'm about to draft to make sure he isn't injured or something else newsworthy). But here is the source I rely on: https://fantasyfootballcalculator.com/mock-draft/results You can pick between PPR or not. it's a mock draft compilation, and also has position rankings. I find it very helpful for planning when to take a player in later rounds and overall thoughts. Best ones are those without a lot of CPU picks, so you can get an idea on how others value certain players. Good luck!
  6. Coach then said same timeline for Taron
  7. Wallace looked very ginger with his hip. Maybe a hip pointer, but good sign he's at least out there on the side. Speedy back helps. Tarons injury, hopefully just a sprain. Coach said he's in the same timeline as McKenzie, so that might rule out a break (which would likely be week to week).
  8. That context changes alot. Agree on Harry, not sure about McKenzie to IR based on his comments today. If Joe had to pick 1 player to resign, who would it be? I'd clearly go with Hollister, but we will see.
  9. Would say that's encouraging news. Taron in the same injury timeline, as McKenzie, per Coach. No change on Harrisons status. Total estimate/guess (and know this escalation has been done b4), but going off Coach's past day to day and week to week injury designations: 1. Day to day: usually player returns within same week to practice, or following week. 2. Week to week: this can obviously vary, but typically is 2-4 window of returning. So I'd guess both would be in the 1-2 week window, and have a decent shot at being ready week 1 (barring setbacks)
  10. Wallace also sat out practice today, perhaps he's injured and we haven't heard
  11. Yep, aware of that. Not always common to get an MRI after a stinger though. Not sure if Dane had a history of them, weakness/lingering effects, etc. But hopefully results show no additional nerve damage.
  12. Hopefully just precaution with the MRI and everything checks out for Dane
  13. Technically the team could place the 5 players sent home today, onto the covid reserve/list. However, when eligible to return in 5 days, then they'd have to make the cuts. Perhaps a professional courtesy if they already knew who would be cut, giving the players time to sign elsewhere
  14. Forest Lamp would have been a nice story, but he has been injured his whole NFL career (except last season) and didn't exactly play well. He signed a 1 yr, 1m contract to come here...hardly anything. Doyle will be fine as our 9th lineman, or perhaps they consider keeping Douglas and having Bates as the 4th tackle and Jack of all trades backup. Not worried.
  15. How does guard depth change with Lamp on IR? Boettger and Bates were/are our best 2 backup interior guys, regardless of Lamp being healthy. Someone trading for Dillard is looking for a starter, not to make him their 4th tackle. just my opinion
  16. Interesting take as well, thanks for posting this. Compares very well to Alphas. Matt's 5-man LB projection could very well happen, as I see it easier to slide "either" Dodson or Adams onto the PS than a Speedy or Bam. Agree with Sweeney to IR, after 53 man is set. Also think it's possible they try to keep Wildgoose or Lewis on the initial 53. Zimmer is definitely getting picked up if we cut him, I don't see that happening. I could see several cut/sign back options: Butler, Addison, depending on how it impacts the cap
  17. I haven't seen anyone claim he should or is the starting return man all of a sudden, possible I've overlooked some posts. what I've seen, and agree with, is that he's unlikely to get through waivers if we cut him. So more posters now advocating to keep him. It's hard to overlook his speed and then not get excited as a fan/coach/staff when you see a rookie just take a 79 yard punt return and make it look easy (as you said). He also made the clutch 4th down deep catch in game 1, helping to set up the game winner. What I think, and just my 2 cents, Beane & staff saw a premier return man who was one of the best in college football. We also just lost Andre, who they coveted, so they purposely targeted a player in Stevenson who could possibly fill that return role (this season or future) while developing his receiver skills. Makes sense to keep an explosive player on the 53, if you eventually see him taking over the return duties
  18. Actually rule #1 act civilized and don't get drunk to the point that you're verbally abusing/assaulting (yes a slap is assault) another individual. I didn't see the lead up, only the <60 sec video. Can't say I agree with what transpired, but people need to learn some self-restraint. Man looked like he made a fist, then stopped himself before 2 people jumped in his face again
  19. Another great job Alpha! Mostly agree, but few things I see differently and a couple comments: 1. Knox vs Hollister: both these guys will get playing time, but still think Knox is thr starter. I think/hopeful, he can put it all together this season. And I believe the staff is looking at his upside and work ethic, and will keep him as the starter barring injury 2. Harrison: way too early, but sounds like he has a chance to avoid the IR to start the season. Totally depends on this being a 2-4 week injury, or 4+. I don't see us dressing 5 DTs during gameday, especially week 1, anyhow. So think he avoids IR and has a chance to play week 1. 3. Which would mean we have 1 less roster spot, and to me it comes down to Dodson vs Kumerow vs Speedy. I've been encouraged by Speedy all offseason and think he eventually takes over our return duties (think he is safe, barring his injury status). I have a difficult time making this call, but for now, think Dodson would be the odd man out. Better chance he makes it to the PS or Tyrell Adams, who has also been very good. Other comments: 1. Agree with you that Hamlin has been stepping up, glad to see him playing well. Josh Thomas as well, who I think they will try sneaking onto their PS while Hamlin makes the 53. 2. Wildgoose has the skill set that our secondary covers, and played much better week 2. He will hopefully make it onto the PS, but not surprised if they want to keep him on the 53. 3. Tackle depth, I'm less worried than some, and agree that Hart doesn't deserve to stick around. Brown looks like a future RT starter and Doyle has flashed some, but has potential. I think we would sign a veteran if one of Dawkins, Williams or Brown were to be out for extended time. Great job by Beane building a top flight roster, along with high quality depth. I'll predict that 3 of our cuts get signed to other 53 man rosters, which would be a considerable amount.
  20. Lol right. That looked like an INT if the safety turned his head. Diontae blew past the corner and Ben underthrew that pass by 5-10 yards. Should have/would have been a TD, if Ben of 5 years ago was passing
  21. Speaking if season tickets, can anyone confirm if they received ticket cards in the mail? Or is it mobile only this season. I will have to call my rep.
  22. Perhaps, I'm going off the Chris Brown post-game recap. https://www.buffalobills.com/news/top-3-things-we-learned-from-bills-at-bears-preseason-week-2
  23. I've been touting "Speedy" (Stevenson's nickname) for quite a while. If not the best, one of the top, return men in college football. Bills specifically targeted him to replace Roberts. G Great post by GB. As he said, will now be tough to cut him and bring through waivers. His injury looked like a misstep, hopefully minor as he was seen walking (with a boot) on sideline later in game. Another shout out, to another player I'm high on, Damar Hamlin. @Gunner thoughts on him? I've seen him.play thru high school and college, thought he should have been drafted in the 4th round. He's going to be a player, nothing special athletically but he's a field general and a physical safety. Hoping he has one of the safety spots locked up.
  24. I think Bills postgame gave Boogie credit for the block.
