Week 2, Bills v. Fish - PREDICT THE SCORE!
Udubalum07 replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bills 31 Miami 20 I watch the miami and Jacksonville game today. They looked very beatable. Tua could have easily ended up with two to three picks. I think the Bills will be efficient again tomorrow. -
The numbers of 18 per year seemed like a lot to me, but I didn't realize that teams are paying right tackles so much that it puts him eighth at the position. If you told me he would end up the eighth highest paid tackle with the extension and an out in year 2, I would say it was a very team friendly deal. If he plays all year the way he played the to end last year and how he played in game one, he would have been able to get a lot more in free agency. I like it!

Excluding JA, predict your impact player - Bills at Dolphins
Udubalum07 replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
With the turnover in the middle of their line, and the fact that their tackles are solid, I'm going Ed Oliver. He was really quiet in game one, I think he breaks out with a sack and a few hurries to get Tua off his spot. On offense I'm Kincaid breaking out for around 5 to 7 receptions and a TD. -
I agree with the 2nd and 3rd down decisions being the bigger issue. Allen completed nearly 80%of his throws give him two chances to get a first throwing and I think the odds are greatly in his favor to complete one of them. It may not have run out the clock, but it would at least have used all their time outs and put them in more of a bind.

It looks like Hollins was even more open on the bottom of the screen. I think their routes were more clear out routes for the middle of the field. If Johnson wasn't open maybe Allen uncorks one to give it a shot.

Daniel Jones leaving the stadium to intense heckling
Udubalum07 replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
While petty of the fans, and something I would never do. If I got paid 40+million a year and sometimes will be the most hated person around the community, I would take it. Now, what the police had to deal with all across the country during the riots for a mere 50 to 60k a year I feel bad for. Not trying to make this political just my perspective. -
Dorsey's first game as Cleveland OC
Udubalum07 replied to Mister Defense's topic in The Stadium Wall
I just went to look at his contract and Spotrac has him with a 72 million dollar hit the next two years and a void year of 26 million the following year. It is all fully guaranteed. That might be the worst contract in NFL history. It is right up there with Russell Wilson and the Broncos. -
The good news for the defense is that Tua is not real mobile. A couple of those third down pickups that we saw were due to KM making plays that Tua can't. Yes, the receivers will always be a problem with the dolphins, but if they can take away Tua's first read and the D-Line can hurry him up, then I feel good about this one. Plus Allen seems to always have extra juice when playing against them.

Last I heard Bishop is back to practicing without restrictions, but that only came the week of the game. He has missed particles the whole training camp. It will be a little bit before he gets enough practice time in to get a start. I agree though, the faster he gets on the field the higher the ceiling will be for the defense.

Week 1 - Cardinals at Bills - Post Game Thread
Udubalum07 replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well it is better than last year at this time. Josh with 4 total tds. It wasn't pretty but it is a win. Now get ready for miami. -
He is receiving all the reps with the first team in practice and has been able to get in a ton of work over the last few weeks. I'm hoping this time has helped with his reads and really getting down what is expected of him on each. The good news is, even when he didn't know what he was doing, he doesn't play timid. I just hope he play full speed and know his assignments better. I'm hoping this is a blessing in disguise and we find out that they have excellent linebacker depth.

I like the move, but there is definite risk due to injury. He has gotten better every year and he was excellent in the playoffs, only giving up one pressure and zero sacks on nearly 80 pass plays. That is elite numbers against playoff teams.

NFL 2024 Kickoff: Ravens @ Chiefs, Sept 5 - 8:20pm

I know most all the hype is around Worthy and I get that with the two splashy TDs, but Rice has me much more concerned. With the way he looked today, I wouldn't be surprised if he reached 1500 yards receiving and will probably have 10 plus TDs. The guy should be in jail instead of putting up the numbers he did last night and 100k game checks to boot. What he did was incredibly irresponsible and forever changed lives. Yet, he is out there making a very large income, and playing for our rival doesn't help my feelings on it. -
Out of this, it becomes even more clear to me how he needs Josh Allen more than Allen needs him. The fact that after the coordinator change was the "hardest time" in his career says everything about his priorities. The team went 7 and 2, including playoffs, during that stretch. He is obviously much more about himself than he is about the team winning. Later Diggs, the team will be better without you.

Agreed, I just came to start a thread on him. His body control and hands are insane. The dude is extremely talented. They haven't tested him all game on defense.

I'm kind of with the op. I was so excited for 2021 coming off 13 seconds. Even last year getting through the Hamlin mess, but with the failures over the last 3 years, I feel a little less excited. Once the year goes along, and if they play some good football, I'm sure it will all come back. Let's hope for the best version of Allen yet, and this could still be a super bowl. I'm definitely not in the 9-8 boat.

Bills 2024 Training Camp! (related content only please)

I agree with this, but there is also the mix of MVS/Hollins/Claypool that can stretch the field. I really like the differentiation in skills. -
Kamala got mopped up by Tolsi Gabbard. She also epically failed her one responsibility of the border. She literally has no success to point to. She is also the least liked vp in American history. I don't know where this confidence comes from. I'm not a trump fan and voted DeSantis, but no doubt he is beating Kamala. This reaks of desperation.
-
Democrats are more popular when it comes to abortion rights, however I haven't seen a single poll that shows that is the most important issue. The biggest issues are the economy, immigration, and security. All three of those are landslides towards trump in terms of who can handle those issues better. Kamala was terrible with the responsibility of the border. That is a very easy attack on Kamala. Plus she is the last popular VP by piling in US history. She would not beat Trump.

Shedeur is rated by most as the number 1 qb coming into this year. The guy is going to be a top ten pick in the draft. Forcing all players to go to a concert is insane.
-
I don't think he would get one if he keeps dropping touchdown passes. I do think the team likes him a lot. He adds an element of speed and explosiveness that they value in the running back room. It also depends a lot on how much he would be seeking. If it is around 10 million a year, they go a different direction.

Kaiir Elam discussing the last 2 years & his struggles...
Udubalum07 replied to BigDingus's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm rooting for him. I haven't heard a single peep about him being a distraction or discontent, which speaks to his character. It has seemed to me that he still thinks a lot rather than looking comfortable. He gets juked a lot, but with his athleticism has been able to make up for it, and come back and make a play on the ball. He just doesn't have the natural feel for the defense that Benford or Butler do. I hope it turns around for him, because he seems like a really good dude, and it would be great to have reliable corners like we had reliable safeties for the next 5 years or so. -
Caleb Williams is off to a rough rookie start
Udubalum07 replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree Darnold would be a much better comparison for his skill set. Remember Darnold was known as a great playmaker in college. He was known for his ability to make plays after it broke down. It just end up translating to the pros. -
Joe Brady's offensive concepts with LSU / Panthers
Udubalum07 replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall
I know college defenses are much different as stated above, but what that shows is his desire to stretch vertically when available. Also, the offense did try to hit on some deep routes that just weren't completed against KC. Three of them were thrown pretty well, and the receivers just didn't come down with them. I think that is a big reason why we see the shift in adding big receivers. You don't want to be in a position where you're relying on Sherfield to be running go in a playoff game as your primary drop threat.
