I see a game like Detroit where they jump on them early. Then they coast, but this time they don't give up a ton of points.
Bills 34
Pats 14

Sometimes it just doesn't work as expected, just like early round draft picks.
They obviously had a bigger role imagined for him with that contract when they didn't have much cash. However, others have stepped up probably more than expected, so it hasn't mattered. With the everybody eats philosophy, I see him making some impacts over the end of the year through next year, it just won't match the money spent, but that is okay.

If the Bills go onto win the super bowl this year, this trade may go down as one of the greatest in bills history. Josh looks so free and loose. He is having fun again.
When Josh is having fun, he is one of the greatest of all time. Especially, if they hit on a really good player that helps them win more super bowls with the extra second round pick.

Let Dorian play. Have Milano back for December/January. Need Milano/Bernard for playoffs, SB.
Did you ever play high level sports growing up and have to come back from injury?
It takes time for you to get back mentally. There is no way I would sit him when he is healthy and just expect he will be great by practicing in season. The guy needs to play as much as possible over these next six games to be his best version come playoffs.
The good news is that he has been able to run and work out his legs throughout, but it will definitely be a mental adjustment to wear off the rust. My guess is he looks slow for the first 4 games or so, and people will be wondering if he is done, then we will see him looking a lot more like himself weeks 17 and 18 hopefully just in time for the playoffs.

I like Cam Ward. Kind of reminds me of Daniels. He throws the ball accurately, has some ability with his legs and has been spoken about as having high character.

I'm just glad that the Bills are in a position that we are trying to see how they could not make the playoffs. Last year was so stressful watching so many games needing to break their way for them to have a chance.
I like the position they are in this year a whole lot better.

I believe there were multiple clips of them hanging out on the golf course this summer. They respect each other as two of the top qbs in the world, and get along outside of football.

The entire purpose of the Office of Inspector General is to combat fraud, waste, and abuse. in FY 2023, they identified $82.2 billion in savings. If the plan was to better fund and expand the OIG so it could combat even more waste, I'd be all for it. The ROI for investing in the OIG is excellent and would be a big win for taxpayers.
Instead, the plan is to set up an entirely new and separate department to do something that an existing department already does. It's less drafting Josh Allen and more running 2 QB formations. Doesn't make a ton of sense.
And when you consider that the department to eliminate waste is being co-headed by one of the government's largest contractors, it's hard to take it seriously. Are they going to examine SpaceX's contracts? It's like asking the fox to guard the henhouse.
Counterfactual for you: If the Biden administration had said that it was going to create a new department to combat fraud and hired the head of Raytheon to run it and then named the department after a memestock that the head of Raytheon had large personal holdings of, would that be a good idea?
This makes a lot of sense. However, my guess is there are a lot of internal policies on what can be cut that may lead to a lot more red tape to de-regulate. Setting up a whole new department could give them a lot more control and freedom to slash and cut without having to be held to current internal rules in place.

The broncos have been playing good football, and the chiefs have come down to the wire where one play not going their way would have lost them the game on at least 3 different games.
I wouldn't be surprised if their luck runs out on that for a couple of games this year. I do think the Bills would have to beat them and go 14 and 3 to do it.
-
I agree with the win- win either way. I'm just happy one of them will lose.
I feel like I will root for the jets, but also kind of hype buffalo breaks the all time record in earliest to clinch a division. They have a great shot to go another game up on everybody.

This is why the left attacks him vs letting him speak.
I'm not a big Trump fan, but this clip is hilarious. CNN will definitely not be airing this. It makes him way to likable.

I think Rapp is playing well this year. Ideally, the game slows down after a year of practice and a healthy off-season for Bishop.
He was a great safety in college and known for his instincts. I think that will eventually translate, but could take a little bit.
Remember Bernard was terrible in his first start as well. From year two on, he has been fantastic.

It's amazing how easily so many people forgot what life was like during COVID in 2020 as Trump mismanaged the response and a 9/11 worth of people were dying every couple of days.
You do understand that leftists aren't talking about that anymore, because even with a vaccine there were many more deaths in 2021 than 2020 right?
The idea that Trump caused the deaths are so off that most leftists don't bring that up anymore. This is why Harris doesn't mention it all. It makes their administration look terrible. Also, California having more deaths than Florida with a younger overall population. The democrats were by far the worst regulating through the pandemic. Massive spending, shut downs, and really no difference than most all open states that kept business active and balanced their budgets.
Don't let facts get in the way of a narrative though.

Without Coop's drop on the opening 3rd and 1, I do wonder if they wouldn't have found a better flow on offense much earlier in the game, but luckily they have the fire power to go 34 unanswered including 27 in the second half alone.

He looked good but so did everyone else pass rushing against that line
I've never rushed a passer but it seems like this is one of those innate skills that is hard to teach. He seems to have it already based on his college resume.
At his height not sure he will ever be an every down 4-3 DE. Should be a solid rotation guy and pas rush specialist.
I wonder if they can drop him down to DT next to Oliver on some long 3rd downs. He'd be good stunting out of the DT position.
Von is only an inch and a half taller than Solomon. He definitely isn't prototypical height, but has really long arms and huge production on every level.
I'm not at all saying he will be Von, but don't totally rule him out just because of his height.

I think they will pay Benford. Let Douglas get a decent contact elsewhere, although he has been really good. Go with Elam and Benford a year, as they let an early pick CB learn for a year.
Then have a rookie contract paired with Benford during his extension years.

I started following Allen because of him going to my almamater the University of Wyoming. It's been absolute pleasure following his career to the Bills.
From his first start where he shattered his collar bone on his second drive, you could see talent right away, but I had no idea he would take over the NFL like he has.
I was a huge Jordan fan growing up and he won his first title in his 7th year here is to hoping Allen does the same.

A couple of years ago they were loaded up with the most cap space of any team and multiple first round picks for a few years. They made terrible draft picks and trades that were "huge splashes", but didn't really improve them as a team. This includes choices of coaches and coordinators, they went all in to win the last couple of years with a formula that wasn't going to win them games. They did succeed in drawing more interest for a couple of years.
I like the comment about message board users building the team. They actually did a great job setting themselves up for success, but a horrible job in having it come to fruition.

I'm going with the Bills 31 and Jags 7.

I don't know if you can consider a hall of famer under the radar, but I always loved the way Zach Thomas played. Undersized tackling machine that just did his job every game, and has always seemed humble.

I thought Benford would be a developing safety when they drafted him. I thought that they would develop him behind MH as our next center fielder. Since, he and Poyer, were both college corners I thought that's what they were going for.
Instead he has truly looked like a stud and the true 1st round corner that the coaches wanted Elam to be.

Yes, I think there are plenty of interesting games. See what teams carry on solid play from week 1 and which teams show inconsistency.
I'm looking forward to the games.

Yes, I think it would make sense for a rookie qb team that had room for his contract.
I believe he has a lot of guaranteed money over the next few years.

If that was KC the refs would have found a DPI or definitely call roughing the passer to set up the field goal. This is insane.
