  1. He wasn't charged with a crime, or fired from what I can tell. Her charges were dismissed, but again he wasn't found to have charged with a crime. I'm asking for an actual court case or crime. The word you used was illegal so charged with a crime.
  2. The courts have filled in ICE's favor so there hasn't been anything that has actually been ruled to have broken the law. So, your statements of maniacs breaking the law is not factual. Can you point to the case that an ICE agent was ruled to have broken the law performing his job?
  3. I mostly lean right, but this is grounds for termination. This is a terrible and indefensible.
  4. My vote goes to "Have some faith" game
  5. I love Brady and think he is a great play caller, but you have Josh Allen against Baltimore and you do two runs up the middle. That was disappointing.
  6. I don't get any negative views on this. It is a practice squad signing. He is a well liked by both players and coaches. He has been in the system for a long time, and they know his football acumen. Even if they are changing up the defense some, you know he is a guy that can handle and teach the changes in the system. I see a perfect use of the practice squad being a combination of guys like this and guys like Shavers that have some upside and you can stash for development to compete for a spot in the future.
  7. Hoyland is a Wyoming guy. I hope they give him a shot when Bass is out. Just to give him some exposure for other teams.
  8. As stated earlier Brady did help carry teams, but he also had years where he was mostly a game manager. He didn't come close to putting up the best numbers, but won multiple super bowls. Allen can never get away with scoring 13 points in a playoff game and coming out on top. He has to be incredible every playoff game for the team to win. Brady didn't have to do that in his early years. Remember they took Matt Cassell to an 11 and 5 record when Brady went down and at the time Cassell hadn't started a meaningful since high school(he was a backup his entire college career). That was phenomenal coaching.
  9. I think he is also a little overlooked because he just goes about his business. He doesn't have a cool nick name, he doesn't talk a lot like Ramsey, so people just don't know much about him. He is an absolute stud of a corner. All the stats of yards per route and touchdowns given up in the top 3 of the league. I think he would need to have a 5 to 7 interception type season to get more national recognition. It may happen if the defense does end up being more aggressive and forces more forced errors with pressure.
  10. The one that always gets me is the hospital video after his MVP. He's such a genuine dude. Well done Josh.
  11. With the way the dolphins tight end room looks like, I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up there. Also, the way they used Smith, last year, Fant could be used in a similar way and have some production.
  12. Josh Allen actually brought me back to watching the NFL. I will probably be named for this, but I grew up a dolphins fan watching Marino. I was following college mostly, and watched Josh a lot at Wyoming, my alma mater. Watched some of his games as a rookie, and have become a full on bills fan. I live in Nebraska and have gone to a couple of games in KC. Want to get out to Buffalo sometime, but with 3 kids in elementary school and costs with that, traveling is tough right now.
  13. After this I want to see what they said after the Josh Allen pick. Anybody know how to track it down? I did a quick search and couldn't find anything.
  14. I see this draft as a B or C draft. Certainly that could change if the pass rush they are swinging for pans out. If they are able to be somewhat like Philly with the way they were able to disrupt the QB this becomes an A+. To me that would mean a Superbowl. I like the direction, but will see if they had made the right evaluations.
  15. The QB from UC Davis over Marino was bad as well.
  16. What I'm thinking is they may be starting to think Carter may be used a lot more at 1 tech. They also could look for the run stuffer in the 4th with defensive end still a possibility in the third
  17. I like it. Hairston and Benford sounds good.
  18. That's the problem with highlights. It doesn't show the negative plays that are equally important in evaluating prospects. I grew up a Colorado fan under McCartney and really like what Deion has done there. He has bright life back into Colorado football which is pretty remarkable with how bad they were and there was no energy behind the team. As for Shedeur, I have watched him a lot over the last two years, and here is my breakdown. Positives: he has excellent ball placement. Probably the most accurate passer in the class. He is a smart dude, does really well in school, and studied the game under great coaches. He is tough and will battle through hits, he took a ton of them at Colorado. He seems to have a short memory. He will get hit hard then hang in the pocket the next play and deliver while getting hit again, without shying away from contact. I think he actually has enough arm strength, not elite but good enough to get the ball where he needs to. Negatives: I actually didn't agree with processing quickly. He seems to take a while to move from read to read. A big reason why he gets sacked so much. His o-line wasn't great, but he also didn't do them any favors. He got away with just throwing the ball up close receivers and because of receiver talent and lack of db talent in the big 12, he got away with it often. Probably a low possibility of those throws working in the league. He doesn't have great pocket awareness, and wil take a sack instead of throwing the ball away. Also, makes a 7 yard sack a 20 yard sack by retreating, and doesn't quite have the speed or agility to get away, making a bad situation worse. He has a pretty quiet demeanor. I wonder about his leadership and gaining respect in a NFL locker room. His brother, Shiloh, is much more like his dad when it comes to being a big loud personality. All in all I don't think he is going to be a starting level QB and whoever ends up drafting him will be looking for his replacement. Just my two cents from following him the last couple of years.
  19. I think Caleb's biggest problems are things that can't be fixed. I think he loves the celebrity and business just as much if not more than football. I just don't think he has the dedication that you see from the best in the league.
  20. yes, he seems almost like the DJ Metcalf of this draft. Not great college production but athletic tests are incredible. I would love to find that in the third.
  21. I feel like the Dane Jackson and White signings put Revel and Porter a lot more in play. You already have a floor of Dane Jackson who is serviceable but mediocre. A mentor in White to help them with the scheme and not be forced into action before they are confident to play. They both have high ceilings with their physical attributes. Also, seem like Bills type of guys. Rebel could have chased, probably mid six figure NIL money, going into the year and Porter was a part of a program that focuses on humbleness and team goals. (I have a family member that played at Iowa State for 5 years and am well aware of the culture Matt Campbell has instilled.)
  22. The bills trade up and take a QB. That would be a doomsday draft for me. Other than that I can't think of an absolute doomsday draft. Like someone else pointed out, I don't feel like there is a realistic doomsday scenario for me.
  23. The way I look at this is that New England wanted a more experienced backup for Maye. Milton is definitely talented, but probably doesn't do much for Maye when it comes to game prep, and that is probably more of what he needs right now. Not a bad move on both ends in my opinion. Eta: New England's roster is horrible so there is a lot of room for rookies to make the team and get playing time.
  24. As a Wyoming graduate and following his career to Buffalo, this was a fun read. That was a lot of what we had done up there about 12 years earlier. A lot of Wyoming graduates are now Bills fans following his career from there. The growth has been fun to watch.
