You forgot to add 1 afc championship game appearance. Which he single handily blew. The seat should have been smoldering hot that very day.

Especially with Josh’s cannon -
You sir are spot on.

Here are the last nine receivers drafted in the first round who haven’t reached 600 yards in a season: John Ross (9th overall pick in 2017) N’Keal Harry (32nd overall pick in 2019) Henry Ruggs (12th overall pick in 2020) Jalen Reagor (21st overall pick in 2020) Kadarius Toney (20th overall pick in 2021) Rashod Bateman (27th overall pick in 2021) Jameson Williams (12th overall pick in 2022) Jahan Dotson (16th overall pick in 2022) Treylon Burks (18th overall pick in 2022) After crunching the numbers, all the wide receivers listed above fall into one of two groups. Except for John Ross. Way too early to make a proclamation one way or the other. Scouts get it wrong every bit as much as the best draftniks.

This Will Be The Make Or Break Year For This Regime

It’s definitely not a champions mentality mindset, that’s for sure. Bills fans should expect and demand more. Unfortunately that’s what 20 years of suck does. McDermott and Beane are not horrible. They are just not good enough. But then again with josh as your qb he would make many gms and coaches look not horrible. Yeah I get it beane drafted him. But at some point something needs to give here. -

Sadly McDermott does just enough to inspire hope. Yet 0-6 vs division winning teams in the playoffs. I’m not really sure why anyone would expect something different. Josh allen put two back to back epic virtually flawless playoff performances and it still wasn’t enough back in 2021. This is a huge problem. Fake punts at your 30 last year in the 3rd quarter with the score 20-17. Really? Absolutely absurd. And this is the guy you think is going to exercise good judgment in the future come playoff time? I guess ignorance is bliss. -
This Will Be The Make Or Break Year For This Regime

Even if the Bills didn’t make the playoffs this year and Coleman underperforms, I doubt many of those in disagreement would still call for them to be fired. So I guess the next question is at what point should the plug be pulled? Two seasons, three seasons, never? I was done at 13 seconds. I think many are just happy to be relevent and entertained. -
Let me be the first to say it: “Super Bowl!! Beane is a wizard!!”

If you’re upset about the WR room - BLAME DIGGS

Here again that post was in regards to having both mcconkey and Mitchell. No one said anything about trading up in the top three. -

Now who is being ridiculous. Says the person making outlandish claims to substantiate a fake narrative. Oh I get it you just don’t like it when people have a different opinion than you, then you try to discredit them by making them appear unreasonable. Genius. -

Who said it had to be a fourth round rookie. Bills could have easily had both Ladd and a Mitchell -
What picks did you like, said ok, and hate?
<bills4life> replied to Wizard's topic in The Stadium Wall
Would have liked Ladd McConkey at 33 and a trade up for Mitchell in the mid fourties’. I am just not high on Coleman at all. 4 years and 5 100 yd games. Way too much of a bust potential in my opinion. -
Yes. Yes I am. 9-8.
-
Exactly. People seem to forget that boneheaded call. If he didn’t fumble people would be a lot more upset with McDermott.
-
And early exits each and every year. Regular season champions. Greeeaaattt.

Yes preserving one’s job is great. The goal should be to win the damn Super Bowl. Let’s be clear when you are losing in the second round every year you are not contending for anything. A Josh allen led team should be playing in afc championship games and superbowls. I guess I was just spoiled from the bills in the 90’s. Because those Super Bowl runs were magical. They were truly in contention. This team seems farther and farther from contention with each passing year. I guess I just expect more when I have a qb arguably better than Jim Kelly and most likely making the hall of fame if he stays healthy. Such a damn waste. It’s criminal.

Don’t confuse crying with stating some uncomfortable truths. Sometimes the truth hurts. “First they ignore you. Then they ridicule you. And then they attack you and want to burn you. And then they build monuments to you.” ― Nicholas Klein They may not build monuments to people who question or criticize the front office. But give it another three years of this and more people will want beane and McDermott gone. People need to start being more objective when evaluating beane and McDermott. People forget that it was beane who got us into this rebuild phase in the first place.

I would too if I had Jeff hostetler as my qb. Also that nfl version is over. The league favors offense. The rules reflect it. And in the modern era teams pass a lot. To have a top three qb and have this philosophy is just plain ridiculous. Josh allen the one man offense is saving a lot of jobs at one bills drive.

I concur. This damn complimentary football bs is getting real old. Been watching football over 50 years and I have heard this term being used over and over again now more than ever the past 5. Here is a novel idea score in bunches and stop worrying about scoring too fast or praying that your defense can hold on the last drive. It has been proven way too much over the past few years that this is a recipe for failure against good teams especially in the playoffs.
