    Lets hope that Beltran has grown up. This core of young Mets are selfless team players first and they need Beltran at his very best. This may work well. Beltran is a former Met and he is youthful. Now lets see what BVW has up his sleeve.

    The 99 draft...and their welcoming of Donovon McNabb! ouch! When McNabbs name was announced as the Eagles 1st pick...the boos were really heard. McNabb looked a little rattled.

    I remember Philly great Mike Schmidt laughing about the fans in Philadelphia. Schmidt said that the fans were obnoxious, and that they even booed him when he struck out in batting practice!

    I know the Bills are in year 3 of a rebuild and other teams have done it sooner, but what does that have to do with the Bills. The Bills are on the right track, and the 2020 draft and FA will allow them to add more talented players to carry out the defensive schemes. Of course this offense and Josh Allen need to improve as well.

    Almost equaled last years win total by near mid season. Its all good.

    I was concerned with the run defense again. It definately needs attention before we have a repeat of the recent past. The Eagles are a good team, and they were able to exploit a few weaknesses. It is good to find these things out now so they can be corrected.

    I have been a fan since the early 70's. I must love the Bills because the loss to Philly smarted some. If I didn't care I wouldn't be pi....off!

    Beane and McDermott are obviously going to play the year out with what they have. If all goes well, they can at least get a wildcard spot.

    The Bills may have to make some moves eventually, and maybe they are shell shocked and just afraid to. Their actions also indicate that they trust the draft.

    Right! Experiments are all that they are. However, Edmunds and Ford are gaining valuable game experience.

    Yes...some guys must stay. Some obviously have to go.

    Perhaps Beane and McDermott see themselves ahead of schedule for what they are building. This early success can be seen as a bonus. They are not finished. Some teams rebuild in 2 years, the Bills are taking a little longer.

    Months ago I didn't see it. The more that I watch Edmunds in the middle, it is painful to watch him, knowing his true strength is on the outside. It is almost like McDermott is making it work...square peg in a round hole.

    Well Peko is terrible. On to the next. I would waive Peko...he is that bad.

    Right on. Edmunds needs to go outside. We need a disruptive and stout MLB, a new DT and DE. Jordan Philips,and Ed Oliver are excellent players and they of course remain.

    Break downs alright. We will definately see some new faces next year.

    How are they going to fix the run defense with these players? Some of these guys are just not talented enough.
