Yes! White and Oliver have impact and speed! Speed kills! I bet McCoy would come in here and play like hell! He would also free up a high draft pick and respond well to what the Bills are trying to build!
I would love White, Bush, or Oliver. If the Bills are confident that they are ready to contend, what is wrong with getting McCoy from the Bucs to step in and resurrect his career where he would be wanted! He may have a chip on his shoulder!
I agree. McCoy is still only "31" but perhaps a change of scenery would help. I read a recent article on Tampa going in a new direction...it happens. If not traded, he may be released anyway.
Just saying...what if there is some substance to Gerald McCoy coming here? Would the Bills bank on him to rediscover himself for a few years? If he would be close to his old self? Perhaps free up a draft pick elsewhere?
It is so obvious. There is no way the Bills do not address this. This defense needs more than "serviceable" defensive picks. That is what is causing this in the first place.
Arians of TB literally stated that McCoy has lost a step of his disruptive play. We have seen many times how a change of scenery can help a player rediscover his game. McDermott knows him well from game planning against him.
I know it is draft time and anything could happen, but what are the chances of Clark landing here? Gerald McCoy is intriguing as well...at 31, could he resurrect his game?
I agree...these are young men. What is that old saying? "Most men don't know who they are until they are 30?" Well, in a football sense we would like to see that much earlier!
I hear you. Sometimes we forget that these guys are human. Heat of the moment protecting his sister? How much do we know about how it developed? Most of these players grow out of this, and a change of environment can change it. I worry about the injury. The Bills have enough busted up players as it is.
