  1. Based soley on what I thought of Josh Allen coming out of college. 1 Burrows - Had a great year and good touch on the ball 2 Tua - He's #1 w/o all the injuries. Has that 'it' factor IMO. 3/4 Herbert/Josh Allen - Both big guys that can throw the ball around the yard. Now, after seeing Josh Allen in the NFL he moves up to #1 IMO. He's proven he can play in the NFL and is a good leader.
  2. Well, obviously the Gurley move/trade is purely a cap dump move bc the Rams cap has ALOT of issues. I would take Gurley and a their 2020 2nd Round pick for Yeldon, Foster (WR), and a 2021 4th round pick. We can absorb Gurley's contract right? This move also gets us a 2nd round pick to make up for the 1st we lost when getting Diggs. Then after this year we can ask Gurley to restructure his contract at a MUCH lower cost or cut him.
  3. If Fournette is in a contract year, it will be a much higher probability you will only have him for 1 year (unless you wanna pay the bum, which is what he wants...) So I wouldn't give more than a 6th. 1year rental RB. Better to get a fresh RB in the draft.
  4. I talked about this in another thread. I wouldn't pay Clowney straight up 20Mil/yr. I would pay him a base of 10-12Mil and give him incentives to get up to 18-20MIL. If the dude produces... I'd pay him. Good for the Bills and good for him to make those incentives.
  5. That's funny, I was just thinking about this today. Teams that I think are actively trying to get Trevor: Carolina, Jacksonville, Chargers, New England (I think they will have a terrible year) Teams that SHOULD go after Trevor: Miami (if they lose out on a QB), Chicago, LasVegas, Indy, New Orleans, Washington. Teams that MAYBE should go after Trevor: Pittsburgh, Denver, Detroit.
  6. I'd rather have a stable of low cost RB's than go after Gordon. Let's pass and use a draft pick on a RB.
  7. Out of those 2, you would probably have to move Dawkins over. Do you think Dawkins would have problems at RT?
  8. From this point, I'd say bringing in a Top end DE, like you said. Clowney would blow the top off this defense. Another move we could make would be to pick up OT Trent Williams from Wash in a trade. I saw somewhere they would take a 2nd for him. Those 2 moves solidify both lines.
  9. That's my favorite... Kung Flu Chicken... Yummy!
  10. Next year's first... Where is the throwup emoji???
  11. First Round Bust.... Ha, ha... I see what you did there.
  12. OT, DE, WR, CB. Someone beane loves from these positions. Hopefully, WR, Higgins falls thru. SO SLOW!!! Pass it around to everyone you know. ; )
  13. I'd try and give him a base of around 10-12MIL with incentives to get upward of 15-18MIL depending on production. This way if he doesn't produce you still get a good DE that disrupts things, but your not paying a premium if he doesn't ultimately get what you want... Sacks.
  14. I'm guessing that Beane have a couple more positions that he wants to get some FA's for. THEN in a little while when free agency slows down some, I bet he will sift thru the players that are left and pick up some just for the possibility of trading them in training camp like he did last year. Picking up a couple of extra picks... This dude plays chess while others are still sleeping...
  15. Totally agree about rookies being cheap labor and those guys to a long way to make sure you can pay others until it's their turn to get paid... That's why giving up the #1 for Diggs hurts IMO. I'm happy we got Diggs, but I really wish we could have gotten away with a 2nd round pick for him... (as we all do...) Way out there prediction: We draft a WR with our 2nd Round pick. Someone that drops out of the 1st for some reason...
  16. I think Diggs will be good for us. The only thing I don't like about the trade is giving up the 1st round pick. I would be ecstatic if it was a 2nd instead of the first. So I think getting Diggs is good, but I wish we would have given up a little less. (Like we all do)... especially after the Houston trade...
  17. He wants like 14Mil/yr... Nope... Pass.
  18. Wash was going to pay ‘significantly more’.... I doubt that.
  19. Smokescreen... After the Hopkins trade, I'm sure the browns are cautious not to get blown up by twitter.
  20. This trade is SOOOOO bad the GM and the HC should be fired immediately... WTF.
  21. While every roster can always try and improve, I think there is a lesser amount of spots that need 'help'. I would say we are adequate at all positions except for WR and DE. We need a #1 WR to go with Brown for when we line up with 1RB, 2TE, 2WR. Which I think we will see more of this year. I'm assuming Shaq is gone, which leaves a hole at DE. Already, before free agency has truly begun, Beane has already solidified the CB and OLine. The signings of Norman and Spain means, IMO, there will NOT be any big signings in those areas. Now, for WR and DE, there might be a 'big splash' signing at those positions. A STUD DE would elevate this DEF even more. Personally, I think we can find a #1 WR in the draft. So, in retrospect after that diatribe, I think we will focus on WR DE OLB (which MIGHT be signed before free agency again...) All other positions will be backed up with draft picks.
  22. Now we know why he was tired at the combine... Does this push him back in the WR line??? 2nd round now?
  23. Alright, lets try again after the last one wasn't so good. 2 WR max. fanspeak, steve, Round 1: Wow! OT Wirfs (7), Becton(15), and Josh Jones(22) still around. Patrick Queen there too. BUT I go with Jeudy!!! Round 2: Damn. Best player is a RB, Jonathan Taylor. Reagor, Pittman, Claypool all still here. Some OT's here too... Round 3: Round 4: driskoll was a little bit of a reach, but best OT left. Still good plethora of WR's left. Round 5: 2nd WR here. Round 6: Took quarterman just bc the bills have talked w/ him. Super happy w/ this draft. 22: R1P22 WR JERRY JEUDY ALABAMA 54: R2P22 DL JUSTIN MADUBUIKE TEXAS A&M 86: R3P22 LB MALIK HARRISON OHIO STATE 128: R4P22 OT JACK DRISCOLL AUBURN 155: R5P9 RB ZACK MOSS UTAH 167: R5P21 WR JAMES PROCHE SMU 188: R6P9 LB SHAQUILLE QUARTERMAN MIAMI 201: R6P22 EDGE CHAUNCEY RIVERS MISSISSIPPI STATE 207: R6P28 CB STANFORD SAMUELS III FLORIDA STATE
