  1. Well, Diggs is the CB I'd like to take in the 2nd, but I'm more fond of a WR or DE. I think we can find a RB in later rounds that we can use... but I'm not so sure we could find a Mims or Claypool in later rounds (esp. Mims).
  2. Out of the players you listed I hope Mims, Claypool, Gross Matos, Epenesa, Uche, or Diggs drops to us... The 2nd round tomorrow will be very interesting...
  3. Manziel's best play was running around until a WR got wide open... it wasn't sitting in the pocket. Tua runs when he as to, not the other way around. Tua >>>>> Manziel Manziel had bust written all over him... That's why the only ppl interested in him was Cleveland and Jerry Jones.
  4. Virgil and everyone who helped him and everyone that drafted, thank you for the mocks... I really enjoy seeing who ppl pick.
  5. Sometimes Tuff Love is needed...
  6. Nobody... we will probably trade this pick.
  7. So, is the best case scenario for us if this happens. 1 Burrow 2 Tua 3 Chase Young 4 Chargers trade up... Herbert. 5 Dolphins???
  8. I think another thing about those trades and why ppl wanted those players was the contracts those players signed. All those contracts, I bet, were very cap friendly. So a team gets a decent player at a good cap hit... that's worth a 5-7th rounder.
  9. AJ Dillon not in the top 100... Pick this dude in the 4th/5th round.
  10. If I'm the raiders, once pick 20 comes on the clock, I call the jaguars and say "Sorry, had to draft XXX, I got a second available for Ngakoue."
  11. I wouldn't take that deal if I was Detroit. You drop down to 18 and 26 this year and a first in the 8-18 range probably. That is a huge drop where you are losing a bonafide high, 10 year in your program player (hopefully) for 1/2nd round graded draft picks, very far from sure things. Now, if you get 5 in return, then you are still getting a legit high quality player. IMO, Miami would have to overpay by a lot for me to lose that type of a player.
  12. If I'm Detroit, I'm laughing all the way to the bank... Yep, trade with me at 3, I'll take your extra 1st round picks, THEN still probably get Okuda (CB sp?) or Tua at 5....
  13. Shenault and Gandy-Golden!!! Sign me up!
  14. That dude was a cut above the rest.
  15. Bryan Edwards - great body control and performed well at South Carolina James Proche WR Renfro Texas A&M CB - Just makes plays Miles Bryant Washington CB Tanner Muse S
  16. Trades would make it almost impossible to make it. Let's say you get to pick 25, from 25-32 there are normally a good amount of trades to get someone before the end of the round.

  18. With the cap going up and Mahomes will probably get his 40MIL, yeah, I think Josh will get somewhere from 35-38MIL, IF he continues his progression.
  19. I think what he is saying is Linebackers and Safeties are like RB's on the offensive side... they are needed, but you can get good ones in middle late rounds so you don't pay them premium money that you can use on other positions that are harder to fill, like DE and CB.
  20. This was a topic I was thinking of bringing up but more of a 'which positions would you pay big money contracts to?' instead of people. For me, this has nothing to do with the player or how good they are, just where you want to distribute the money at which position. I can't see us paying top dollar for 2 linebackers. That is a lot of money at one position, when you could use it for a more impact player at DE or CB. A couple of years down the road when we are paying Allen (35MIL+), Diggs (15MIL+ new contract?), Dawkins (13-15MIL+), White (15-18MIL+), plus field a team... The money will dry up fast.
  21. Jordan Love. Dude's gonna be a train wreck
  22. Gunner, great list and job well done. If you don't mind me asking, how do you make this assessment? Just the eye test? How do you differentiate between a 1st / 1st/2nd / 2nd / 3rd and so on? Do you compare to other years or is there a threshold for being a 1st round grade, etc? I'm really curious how the process works. Thanks.
  23. Yikes! Why help SanFran out for signing a terrible contract...
