  1. Because we have Greg Rousseau, Miller, Floyd, Apenesa and Lawson. Adding another DE would be the equivalent of us adding another high priced RB to go with Cook, Fournette and Murray. DE isn’t a weakness for us right now.
  2. It’s because it doesn’t work like that with todays athletes. You can’t have 2 - #1 guys on a roster where 1 isn’t on a rookie contract. At that position it’s proven that they can’t co-exist. 1 needs to be paid more than the other, 1 needs more targets than the other, 1 wants to be the #1 option over the other……it just doesn’t work in todays NFL…..too much drama that teams prefer to stay away from. Dude Derek Carr has never been considered a top QB in the NFL…..he went there for the money! What NFL reciever says to themselves I’d love to play with Derek Carr?!?
  3. When has the Raiders ever had a reputation of being a well run competitive organization the last 20 years? If I knew that, you knew that then he definitely knew that and went there anyways because they were willing to pay him. You think winning is his #1 priority or getting the ball? Heres a quote from Adams after the Raiders coming off 2 straight wins - “When you’re a player like me, mentally my benchmark is not wins and losses, it’s greatness. So when I go out there m, I expect to have the ability to put that on the table and have an influence on the game. That’s my purpose for being here” end quote hmmmm
  4. I think you underestimate the mindset of an all pro receiver in his prime. Why do you think Diggs was throwing his hands up at Allen in the Bengals playoff game……he wanted the ball. Why do you think Adams wants out of Vegas…..he wants the ball more.
  5. Add in the fact that this team just found out this past Thursday how to get their 1st round TE more involved in the offense, but all of a sudden our OC can be trusted to get Adams and Diggs enough touches while our HC has stated he wants us to be more balanced.
  6. You’re naming guys that were all on rookie contracts. 2010 Bolton was traded to the Ravens, Fitzgerald was extended in 2011. I’m talking about a team with 2 recievers paid top 10 at their position. Adams is #2 and Diggs is #5 You only see 2 stud receivers on a team when 1 of them is still on a rookie deal. The Bengals are going through this now with Higgins and Chase……can’t sign 2 receivers to #1 money.
  7. Name me a team that had 2 all pro recievers on top 10 WR contracts in the past 15 years? It sounds good in theory with the option of having 2 all pro recievers, but the reality is teams don’t pay 2 top tier recievers because it’s too difficult to keep each player happy and eventually 1 wants to be traded or released. Which reciever is gonna take a back seat to the other……Diggs or Adams?
  8. Bills can’t afford that contract, plus him and Diggs together would be a disaster. There’s a reason NFL teams don’t have 2 #1 All Pro receivers on the same team on post rookie contracts…….too much of a headache trying to keep both guys happy. Eventually 1 is asking to be traded/released.
  9. Our eyes have shown us since McDermott took over that we suck at tackling. The stats back it up.
  10. How was it still the right call when it didn’t work? We can say hindsight is 20/20……but I’m 110% sure analytics would show it was better to got for it on 4th and 1 vs kicking a FG. They could’ve even hurried up to the line and attempted to get the Jets to jump
  11. It wasn’t the right call and it shouldn’t be debatable imo. #1 - You kick the field and make the field goal you still have to go out there and play defense. #2 - You kick the field goal and miss the field goal you still have to go out there and play defense. #3 - You go for it on 4th down and they stop you…..guess what you still have to put there and play defense. #4 - You pick up 1 yard on 4th down and the game is over Please explain to me how option 1 is the better option over 4?
  12. The problem is the FG doesn’t put the game away for you…..the 1st down does. I’m weighing my options and I’m saying kick a FG that can be potentially blocked or missed or even if it’s made I still have to kickoff vs getting 1 yard at their 19 yard line to end the game. I’m trying to get the 1st down 100 out of 100 times. Even if they stop you it’s still the same situation where they have the ball at the 19 yard line with no timeouts. Going for it made way more sense then kicking a FG.
  13. It was a dumb decision period. The 3 points doesn’t give you a 7+ point lead so why kick it? You give the Jets a chance to return the kickoff for a TD and win the game. Go for it on 4th down with a chance to put the game away.
  14. Soon they’ll be complaining about Josh’s long hair…..damn hippy!
  15. I thought the offense actually looked good last night. Offense looked way more creative……we shot ourselves in the foot a lot with penalties, the INT and Josh taking that sack on 2 and 1 after trying to draw the Offside penalty. Dorsey didn’t deserve criticism for this game……any criticism should go to McDermott for punting the ball 2x inside our 45 on 4th and short!
  16. As a father of 2 kids that play cornerback on JV and modified…….that kid is locking Diggs up 👀
  17. Idk but he just threw another TD pass…..focus on that instead of crying about a tipped pass 🤷🏽‍♂️
  18. Never said he was perfect, but that wasn’t the play to criticize him on.
  19. He tried to throw it to Kincaid…..go take a bathroom break 🙄
  20. How long y’all gonna talk about that timeout?
  21. He didn’t panic and it ain’t that serious ……you guys act like that whole scenario cost us points or something……relax!
  22. Because Tampa didn’t run out the FG unit right away…..they ran them on late. You don’t call a timeout unless your 100% sure they’re not going for it.
  23. I’m starting to notice when you guys are down on the team you’ll complain about any and everything Sheesh 🙄
  24. Because if they miss it you get a couple plays to get a FG of your own.
