I voted Revel this time around. He will seemingly miss a lot of this year and this is where you would hope the fifth year option comes into play where it will be IR/ease into pro football in year one, three very good years and then the fifth year option or long term extension happens. I am not sure he would be extended with only 2.25 good years on tape but I could be wrong! This time around I would be alright with any of the options that are available.

TSW Mock Draft 2.0 - The Saints (Alphadawg7) are on the clock
quincy replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
@Virgil and everyone else participating in the draft, I am sorry that I was unable to make the pick on schedule. When I was attempting to login there was a warning stating that the security certificate had expired. I was following the thread all day waiting for my turn to pick. Belatedly I welcome Maxwell Hairston to the Minnesota Vikings! I will continue to follow the draft even though the Vikings have no further picks. If I was to have made the pick as the Vikings GM, it would have been Jihaad Campbell (LB), who could have been a versatile chess piece for Brian Flores to unleash. Thanks to to all who stepped in to keep the mock going in my absence. -
TSW Mock Draft 2.0 - The Saints (Alphadawg7) are on the clock

Vikings, Packers, Eagles Thank you -
Traded with the Raiders 62 for 68 and 143 - they got Q. Judkins RB and we got Alfred Collins and Jamaree Caldwell - two genuine 1TDT. Jags wanted a late trade 173 and 2026 NYJ7th for 182 and 221 - took Colby OG and local darling Dolac with the "bonus" pick 30. Shavon Revel CB East Carolina 56. J.T. Tuimoloau EDGE Ohio State 68. Alfred Collins DT Texas 109. Dont'e Thornton WR Tennessee 132. Quincy Riley CB Louisville 143. Jamaree Caldwell DT Oregon 169. Kyle McCord QB Syracuse 170. Jack Sawyer EDGE Ohio State 177. Jalen Travis OT Iowa State 182. Connor Colby OG Iowa 206. Ty Robinson DT Nebraska 221. Shaun Dolac LB Buffalo

When you go to the PFN draft simulator and see the CB profiles, I like Strong's the best. Seems potentially a bit undervalued considering that at least 3 of the top CB prospects have injury concerns of some kind, (Johnson, Revel and Morrison). Zy Alexander is also considered to be a better than average CB in terms of tackling, he is someone else that i find interesting especially if 2 cornerbacks are drafted by Buffalo in this upcoming draft.

TSW 1.0 Poll - Who should the Bills select at #30 (Poll Closed)
quincy replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
Voted Amos out of the two available choices. From the highlights earlier in the thread he plays both outside CB positions and he has a better chance of being a week one starter, as of now, versus Nolen. You'd assume he'd be on the field at least 80% of the snaps on D, Nolen would be lucky to hit 45% on a constant basis under this regime. -
TSW 1.0 Poll - Who should the Bills select at #30 (Poll Closed)
quincy replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
Looking at PFN simulator, here are the candidates from their rankings that are still available in the TSW mock draft but not in the poll; DB Benjamin Morrison Notre Dame #39 DT Tyleik Williams Ohio State #29 LB Carson Schwesigner UCLA #46 ED Nic Scourton Texas A&M #26 WR Jaylin Noel Iowa State #49 The cut off limit for the above was pick number 50 - they believe the needs for Buffalo are CB-DT-LB-Edge-WR There are two further players in the top 40 not in the poll which are not in their top 5 needs; TE Colston Loveland Michigan #18 DB Xavier Watts Notre Dame #38 They have Morrison higher than Amos. Williams above the already picked Grant. I would vote for Scourton, with Amos as the 2nd choice. -
Trading with Cleveland to get back pick 94 at using that on WR Thornton. Taking 2 Wide Receivers and 2 Cornerbacks. 33. Donovan Ezeiruaku EDGE Boston College 56. Darien Porter CB Iowa State 62. Jayden Higgins WR Iowa State 94. Dont'e Thornton WR Tennessee 111. Zy Alexander CB LSU 132. Smael Mondon Jr. LB Georgia 163. Jamaree Caldwell DT Oregon 169. Kitan Crawford S Nevada 173. Jarquez Hunter RB Auburn 177. Riley Leonard QB Notre Dame 206. Vernon Broughton DT Texas

Here is one I just did on PFN What I have seen recently is that at least 85% of the time both Williams and Grant at DT make it to our pick. Sawyer seems to have fallen around 70 spots since the combine. 31. Kenneth Grant DT Michigan 56. J.T. Tuimoloau EDGE Ohio State 62. Alfred Collins DT Texas 95. Dorian Strong CB Virginia Tech 110. Jack Sawyer EDGE Ohio State 132. Tory Horton WR Colorado State 133. Demetrius Knight Jr. LB South Carolina 169. Kitan Crawford S Nevada 170. Oluwafemi Oladejo EDGE UCLA 177. Kyle McCord QB Syracuse 206. Carson Vinson OT Alabama A&M 207. Phil Mafah RB Clemson With the obligatory trade down with KC!

Hoecht and Ogunjobi 6 game suspension for PEDs
quincy replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
To me it sounds like Beane is accepting the 6 weeks for both players - roughly at 13 minutes in. -
Hoecht and Ogunjobi 6 game suspension for PEDs
quincy replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
If this news had happened to the Browns, we would be laughing hard at them. A real shame it happened to us. Hoecht i would have avoided in FA, since it was known whilst negotiating. -
I assume the players you are referring to are making plays against the Bills D - no surprises there. The three immediate standout plays from that game on the Buffalo side are made by Mack Hollins, Jordan Phillips and James Cook. One has left, the other will probably retire (or take PS deal here) and the third is wanting an upgraded contract and if unresolved could be an issue. Mack Hollins is making that catch whilst being fouled by an All-Pro, coached by Spags, down 11 at the end of the 2nd half at Arrowhead. He delivered. We are losing two quirky, edgy guys who bring the "juice", that energy needs to be replaced somehow.

I just hope our next JAG WR can make plays like this when the season is on the line. https://youtu.be/K5Dva8aPEwE

It'd be nice to come away from FA with one genuine 1-tech DT and draft one in the draft too

Maxx Crosby signs extension with LV making him highest paid non-QB ever
quincy replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
Whenever he plays, he is always on the field, so full credit to him, 2024 is posted below. We need to find someone who can play around 70% in my view. -
I saw this on PFT initially. As a European, I am unfamiliar with this company and what they do. Is this good or bad for the Buffalo Bills? First time I have posted a topic! Josh Allen lands comprehensive deal with Skydance Sports Skydance Sports Inks Overall Deal With NFL MVP Josh Allen (Exclusive)

Considering we gave up a 3rd for a half year of Amari, I wonder Green Bay would consider a 4th rounder for Doubs? Assuming they'd get rid of him at any cost. Then get some kind of comp pick if he cannot be retained. You also have to believe that the locker room can withstand any of his antics. All i do know is that we can't run it back with the WR guys we had last year. We have Shakir and virtually nothing else at WR. Hollins had a great year but he will be 32 this season. Keon and Samuel are under performing and/or injured.
-
Green Bay is seemingly putting out feelers on Doubs. Any idea what he'd his direct trade value would be and would Buffalo have any interest in him? With Stafford staying in LA, I assume that Crosby is still remaining in play for now.
-
Is there a consensus height/weight for a DE in the Bills scheme? Scourton at 265lbs at 30 is what I'd prefer at this moment. David Walker looked impressive to me in the drills but more than likely doesn't possess the required build that Buffalo is seeking.

7 NFL draft prospects with something to prove at combine: What must Cam Skattebo show? From the above link RB Ollie Gordon II, Oklahoma State "Respectable showings in the three-cone drill and 40-yard dash might assuage concerns that he lacks the elusiveness and big-play ability to be more than a short-yardage option. He also will have to answer for a July 2024 arrest, for which he was charged with one count of driving under the influence by a person under 21 and one count of transporting an open container of alcohol." Based on his arrest seven months ago, he might not be on the Buffalo Bills board at all?

NFL's oldest player to retire after 19 seasons Getting a Front Office job in Seattle.

2 x Edge and 2 x DT with CB, WR and S being the other choices. Bech was value at 108 I thought, probably an unlikely fall to occur in April. Just had to trade with KC. Grant is there most times at 30 but will not be there in April. 4 extra picks for 2026 and i thought McCord the Syracuse QB was worth a shot in the 5th round. Chicago mysteriously wanted pick 181 so I took their 3 for 2 offer even though the trade value probably didn't add up.

Slick Rick about to be Bills most valuable non player person.
quincy replied to Lost's topic in The Stadium Wall
He might still get the bus every work day anyway in that case! Who wouldn't like a new car, especially in the cold WNY winters, for grocery shopping and longer trips, not necessarily just for the work commute.
