  1. My only outrage was the political aspect trump put on it. Again, Shokin was fired for NOT investigating corruption enough. All trump wanted was his opponent's son investigated.
  2. Warren.
  3. I can't tell you exactly what it is, because I have not breached the system myself, but this is the only point that matters: She added, "It could also give them access to millions of Americans' personal and financial information that is protected by law." Legally? If you're going to borrow my lawnmower, I'm not going to ask you why. if you ask for the treasury and OPM data, I'm asking why.
  4. How is going through the proper legal processes, instead of a quid pro quo "turning a blind eye"? As it turns out, the GQP investigated this wholeheartedly, and even got the "corrupt FBI" involved enough to lie. That "blind eye".
  5. How would they get more information from the government, than the government already has? Whatever is done is done, and we'll have to wait(forever) for the courts to get around to adjudicate this. The pisser is that if found out to be illegal, the penalty is "woops". Glad you're so sure.
  6. As we speak, people are cheering to lock up the people who were "spying". That's fine as long as they get all of them, including those in the current administration, before they get pardoned. Bottom line it's unconstitutional, and illegal. We're in a fine mess, no matter how much some people want to believe this is 'all for the better'.
  7. Yeah, that's going to cost us a ton, too.
  8. What level of tariffs would it take to bring production of cheap consumer goods back to America? China has a very large economy, so the consumers would have to face A LOT of "pain" waiting for it to happen. Likely years, and then how do you produce those goods in America, at a price that's friendly to US consumers? There's a reason we let them make those things for us. Targeted tariffs, on certain industries, might be effective. Blanket tariffs are a TERRIBLE idea.
  9. Fire up the wrongful termination lawsuits. Lawyer up!
  10. Which corruption of Biden's is it you speak? You're saying that a president should be able to force other countries to open, and make public, investigations based on if he feels there may be corruption as a quid pro quo? You don't see any abuse potential there? You really don't think that the FBI doesn't already have their own channels?? I get it you guys buy every bs narrative that comes your way, but wake up Doc.
  11. "but her emails". The OPM order was sent through an "unknown" server. Musk DOGE on US treasury: They also sought access to the underlying code, the person said — alarming some Treasury staff, because the operation of this infrastructure is tightly controlled due to its critical position in the US financial system. It’s unclear whether the duo have obtained direct access to the code and why they would want it, according to people familiar with the situation. Congress controls the purse, so how can the executive branch appoint a "special employee" to screw with the payment system? I get that the Treasury is part of the executive branch, but that doesn't mean the president can do anything he wants at any department. If this was true, then Biden would have pushed through student loan debt. Sure, the courts can call this illegal after the fact, though the damage is already done, and the short-sighted SCOTUS says you can't prosecute this "official action" anyways. What a mess. At the end of the day, Elon has all our information, and apparently, no one cares about being "spied on" anymore.
  12. You think it's unusual that the USA may have demands on countries before they receive funding? They even do that with Israel. trump was accused of, and impeached for withholding funds, concurrent with an investigation of a political rival of his.
  13. In your statement of "fact", they in fact wanted Shokin dismissed for NOT thoroughly enough probing corruption. You may not agree with that, but it was the official policy. If he decides what does/doesn't get spent, then he certainly can be wide open to the nefarious action, that Biden was accused of. The "quid pro quo" you're accusing Biden of was actually the US policy.
  14. If you want to frame it in a completely incorrect way, then yes that guy, Shokin. The point being, what's stopping trump from doing exactly what everyone was in horror that Biden supposedly did, except with every penny that leaves the country.
  15. All the maggats were saying Biden was corrupt withholding money for Ukraine, but now trump can withhold money from anyone he wants, and it's "what he campaigned on". LOLZ
  16. Nobody even a little worried about why Kash got hundreds of thousands of dollars from his truth social trust? Those last 3 words couldn't be any more contradictory. I'll bet the people wondering about Biden's checks for years won't care.
  17. This is how the "common sense" idiots get their 'news'.
  18. I'm going to appeal to the "common sense" people here. When was the last plane crash, and was it due to DEI hiring? What are some good examples of plane crashes caused by DEI? Has the president or Fox provided any, or is it just baseless nonsense that is trying to appeal to "common sense".
  19. This is one of the rare times that NC is actually right. trump has said campaigning that he wanted to hire more ATC.
  20. You think hurting the Canadian dollar will boost our economy in a meaningful way? I think(no I know) you're just making stuff up. What possibly could go wrong with trying to harm the country's, that we share our longest border with, economy have on us? If only we had a recent example. Clown.
  21. Well, the bunker is built for nuclear attack, but it's not a requirement for its use.
  22. Now I'm seeing it was a training/practice flight. Interestingly, a "continuity of government" mission. Strangely enough, trump did not know what this meant. For those that don't know, it's a protocol for nuclear disaster.
  23. As long as they're useful idiots, he's fine with them.
  24. IIRC they said 1 pilot had like 1000 hours, and the other like 500. Seems like a ton to me, so an "annual required evaluation" in the flight path of an airport, doesn't seem all that necessary.
  25. They will throw their rights on his steps.
