If you held your captain crunch decoder up to what Fox news is saying, you'd hear: If Gavin Newsome had of used more socialism, he could have protected the homes of the wealthy celebrities. This sounds about as classic communism as you can get. Not enough money for health and basic needs for the average soviet, but plenty of money to make sure the politburo is safe and cozy.

If only he really did. Nothing will happen is EXACTLY correct. Not sure what this has to do with presenting facts, though. Truth. Fact is the real deep state has your representatives, and in effect the people by the balls. If the government did find ways to make costs cheaper for suppliers/producers, there's absolutely no reason for them to pass them on down to consumers. It will simply be passed on to shareholders as increased profits, which furthers wealth inequality. There's a big problem here, and there's a massive sucking sound people ignore as they enjoy their consumable products, while going deeper into debt. I honestly don't think there is a solution beyond actually controlling monopolies and fostering more competition, which is nearly impossible. Even the republican party itself admits that the old school GOP is a problem, so a new anachronym is needed. Why not GQP?
