  1. I'm not picking on Trump, I'm talking about this from a legal standpoint perspective. You're right, how many times can they investigate before it becomes harassment is another good question, but that's not what we're discussing here
  2. You: "We don't live in East Germany yet, but give it time. Maybe you can interrogate me in the future.?" Me: "That's fair, I just fail to understand why you choose not to share, and why I'm East Germany for asking?" Or maybe you did, and maybe it's you misrepresenting. Name one other time you mistakenly thought I misrepresented you? What does this mean??? Are you saying you should be able to be charged after you're tried and found guilty?? All I see here is Covfefe
  3. Wouldn't we love to know, but there's a catch. China is our adversary, so whatever information THEY gave us should/would have been taken with a grain of salt. Ultimately, the only information we could truly trust would be our own intel, which might corroborate what China was saying. Even then, they could start giving you good data until you trust it, then slap you with the bad data. If this is a failure it falls directly on our own intelligence or lack of.
  4. That's fair, I just fail to understand why you choose not to share, and why I'm East Germany for asking? Asking a question isn't argumentative
  5. Are they both charged with murder? Did they both shoot him?? That's what's confusing me. Wow, I'm not a Trey fan, but he nailed that one!
  6. So why do we have a forum if our opinions aren't relevant, and whatever happens happens. What is your opinion on him being charged? Understand I don't take sides. I can totally see how both sides will abuse this no matter which way the cookie crumbles.
  7. I'm not trying to make a case. You said you read the Constitution, and I want to know if you read that a sitting president can't be charged with a crime? Don't confuse your discussion with Tibs with mine
  8. I agree, one can't slack off, because it will be too noticeable with all the people around him working hard. People are def more honest when you are watching them. I guess if there was a productivity measure, you could do it, though. The construction business may be real slow moving forward. Heck, there's gonna be mass evictions. Best of luck to you moving forward. Thanks for reply.
  9. Does the Constitution say the president can't be charged with a crime?
  10. A mess they will have to deal with when the Democrats are in power, and start beaming up all the aliens from Mexico under an executive emergency order, and giving them drivers licenses, health care, and happy meals. Their heads are going to explode
  11. He can't be charged. Have you ever heard of Bill Barr?
  12. He's allowed to commit crimes, because if we tell him he's committing crimes it's too distracting for a man/woman of presidential stature. This immunity thing may be the stupidest thing that comes out of this whole presidency. Sure, like you can hold an impeachment anytime there's a legal controversy. This government is going to be a mess going forward no matter who's in power.
  13. Trump didn't know about the payment. Apparently it came out of petty cash. oh wait, he did know about it, but it came out of his personal money
  14. Oh but I have. Trump said he was ALLOWING them to do it their way, and he would step in if he needed to. Either ultimate or absolute authority or something along those lines. This is from someone else I know who's in health care: Simple infection control for beginners...You wear gloves,mask,gown,face/eye protection...you enter infected patient room and perform necessary treatment. You are protected from patient, patient is protected from you(and any other patients)You then remove gown, gloves, eye protection and mask—-and discard! You repeat for every positive patient...period. BUT WAIT, “THE NYS POWERS THAT BE” SAY DUE TO SHORTAGE RE-USE PPE ALL YOUR SHIFT!! THEN! WHEN U HAVE AN EPIDEMIC INSIDE A FACILITY EVERYONE WONDERS WHY??!!! I also know there's a big discussion about what codes you can use for billing. IOW, if insurance is even going to pay for it.
  15. Since this has started, have you discovered any new ideas that can help your business if it were to say magically return to normal tomorrow? Any cost cutting measures? Possibly that some employees can get the same jobs done at home, therefore maybe allowing the office space to be smaller? Anything like that? I'm just kinda curious if this might change some of the ways business may be done going forward?
  16. You might wanna pick that flag up ref. You say: "I'll tell you what, if you own a business with someone else you should have figured out all the basic goals & methods before going into business with them" replied: "You're being obtuse if you don't think that while running a country or a business that situations don't arise. What was you're business Covid plan on Jan 1st? " Do you STILL believe that you don't ever have to compromise?? After further review...… play IS REVERSED
  17. But Obamacare did do some things that people didn't like, and had a big impact on the overall effect on how we can move forward trying to correct it. I know you're being sarcastic, but we've already established that the unemployment myth is false. You can't refuse to go back to work, and still collect benefits. Most people would have injected that money right back into the economy. A lot of Americans love to spend, and not worry about the future. Also, the tax break is temporary right now, while most of those stock buybacks were sold almost immediately to go straight to their bank accounts. IMO, it's almost securities fraud.
  18. Even if it were true that it was my opinion, you might be wise to take the advice of someone who's been around people wearing masks 250,000 times more than an internet meme.
  19. It's the same thing. If the guy who offered the bribe had any scruples, then he wouldn't have offered, putting the drug addict out of business. It's just a matter of perspective. But yes, I guess we hold a statesmen to a higher standard
  20. I don't think there's a big difference between the guy offering the bribe and the guy accepting it, but I think we're pretty much on the same page.
  21. You're being obtuse if you don't think that while running a country or a business that situations don't arise. What was you're business Covid plan on Jan 1st?
  22. No that's precisely what you did. Asked a question, received the facts, then proceeded to already know the facts.
  23. Ok you're right. Congress is a mess, and always has been only because of the Democrats(who used to the Republicans). If only the Democrats got Covid, and all died, then Congress would be a finely tuned machine that met the needs of all the people all the time, because the Republicans would instantly remove all money involved in politics, which in turn would leave only the needs of the average American citizen at heart. Gotcha. To think I was really always this naïve. I feel ashamed. Yes, and sometimes I get what I want, sometimes I have to compromise. So you're saying if you own a business with someone else, you don't have to compromise? You just make a stand, and always get what you want? This doesn't even make sense. Are you blaming the founding fathers or God? Is this sarcasm?
  24. Because I was only 98% right. GTFO
  25. Read the thread more carefully you'll see the point was that it's better to give it to the average American than it to give it to a company who's just gonna use it to buy back stocks
