  1. They perpetuate the lie, because that's what they are told to do. Good little sycophants.
  2. Affirmative action was created to protect him from having the good grades, but still being passed over, because he's Asian. Just because everything our government rolls out is done wrong doesn't mean it wasn't necessary. Maybe try fixing the bad program, instead of just saying it's wrong/doesn't work, but then the Republicans would have anything to run on.
  3. Did you leave Fox out of this list on purpose, or is that where you gathered these facts? Fox grabbed it's base after 9/11, and has been using the fear model ever since. Fox news Nov 2020: 3.4M-Fox news Jan 2021: 2.4M; MSNBC Nov 2020: 2.5M-MSNBC Jan 2021: 2.6M; CNN Nov 2020: 2.7M-CNN Jan 2021: 2.7M Facts matter, but if your Twitterz base thinks everyone else is fake news, then yeah, you're right you can say CNN and MSNBC are TANKING. LOL Let's reinstate Trumps Twitter so he can lie just like you just did, and have his minions lop up that coup-laid.
  4. Birx isn't a bureaucrat, and she was saying the bureaucrats were a problem. What you posted was a CDC RECOMMENDATION(even though it was wrong), which is exactly the type of laissez faire you wanted??? It's pretty hard to use caution and do "you" when the information is incomplete/inaccurate. Suppose London is being blitzed, and you tell everyone to get in the bomb shelter, because that's what you believe is the safest measure, then the bomb shelter takes the direct hit. As someone in medicine, you have to know that you can only give what you consider to be your best advice given what you know at the time.
  5. For what a taxpayer shells out to raise other people's children, you'd think they would deserve some say. I know this is way off topic, but people having kids as a way to get government hand outs is a sticky subject with me. It should be based on households, whether it be 1, 2, or 20 people. You only pay rent, gas, and electric once. I'm all for helping the poor, but giving an able-bodied 28 year old 10x what you'd give a 60 year old couple(or worse widowed) is ridiculous. I don't want any kids to be needy, but people need to have a better family building plan than rely on the government.
  6. Trump said it was going to magically disappear. Also, try googling viruses that have been eradicated. You'll find what we in the science community call a LIST OF FACTS. FWIW, even though you're often wrong, you do seem to debate in good faith. There are millions upon million of Americans who do hang on every lie that Fox spreads. I hope Dominion whips the crap out of them in court so they will be less likely to spread nonsense. Any news that has people on to tell their 'expert opinion' isn't news. It's propaganda.
  7. I'll save them from replying to your post: ARRESTED FOR WHAT EXACTLY? Now I'll save them from replying to me: For planning a rally about a big lie of election fraud on the day of certification, then leading people to the Capitol to try to undo a certified American election after telling them they will lose their country if they don't.
  8. I can't wait to see what the Covid relief plan for mass evictions is going to be. People expect to be bailed out in this country now. Instead of the big TV to stimulate South Koreas economy, maybe they should have handed out rent vouchers instead.
  9. It's ironic once again that those who watch Fox news all day talk about this slippery slope into socialism say others are "scared". If it wasn't hypocritical it wouldn't be conservative.
  10. This is my issue as well. They want to take poor people who owe a fine they can't afford to pay(or many other reasons) to lose their voting rights. I know many conservatives have been pushing for voter ID for years and I understand their concerns, BUT I'm completely displeased that these same people can't see what the Republicans are trying to do here. it's clear as day. If you accuse your neighbor's dog of pooping in your yard(even though he didn't), and you put up a fence the next day, we all know the reasoning for it.
  11. These people want more Q supporters, and bar room politicians like MTG, Boebert, and Gaetz. They cheer for the people that chant fweedumb, and spurn those who follow logic and science.
  12. My issue is that Georgia loses bigly(and Trump spreads the big lie), and then decides it's time for voter law changes. The end game of being "proofed" is keeping substances out of the hands of children, because it's a FACT that they will try to obtain them illegally. These laws were passed based on LIES about voter fraud. Huge difference. I'm all for voter ID if the federal government recognizes voting as a RIGHT, and provides them for everyone. Trust me, the government knows who each and every citizen in this country is. if you thinks it's easy to get lost in the shuffle, try not paying your taxes. If you'd like to show me "fact based" reasoning FOR voter ID, then I'd appreciate that. 1.000 cases of voter fraud out of billions of votes doesn't show a need for voter ID.
  13. The doctor who agrees with you about this also tells you why you need to still wear a mask LOL: “You leave that room and you go into another room with somebody that has not had the vaccine. And you talk loud and you cough once in a while or you sneeze... then for that particular person you just put them at risk now because what's in your nose has been, you know, aerosolized,”
  14. Exactly. Why should you even have to register in a country that has no trouble finding you if you owe taxes. If voting is a RIGHT, then I should be sent 5 voter ID cards in case I lose the first 4.
  15. I'll settle on Fweedumb. Also, it's comical you post from the country that gave us taxation without representation as the role model against tyranny, because they want proof of vaccinations. Try to get your kids in school(or even yourself) without records of vaccinations. I suppose I'm just scared and wrong about measles, mumps, rubella, etc
  16. It would be interesting to see a team choose to not go the route of franchise QB. Trade him for 6 first rounders instead of paying him $50M, and go with a good FA QB for $10M. I know it's usually the good QB that wins the SB, but the Bucs just won last year with an ancient star QB. Just an interesting idea.
  17. Yeah, because during the Great Plague I'm sure they would have just allowed everyone on the planes, and called it freedumb.
  18. It's ironic, and funny as hell the way that those who call others snowflakes cry about the dumbest stuff. If it wasn't hypocritical it wouldn't be conservative is my new motto.
  19. ...and the right thinks their religion of the minority should lead to legislation favoring them, because we're a "Christian nation". I find it hilarious that your "basic defect" is EXACTLY what the majority whites did to the minority groups for 99% of this countries existence. LOLZ!
  20. It's REALLY, REALLY, funny that those telling us about how history will judge us have zero knowledge of actual history. The policy failures of Spanish flu in places like Philadelphia are widely documented. Next time you sneeze or cough into your hand check your hand for the EVIDENCE.
  21. I would have thought that the 5 year prison sentence for voter fraud would have been a better deterrent than showing ID. Kids get cigarettes and alcohol with fake ID.
  22. Now the right wants to pretend that the insurrection based on the big lie of voter fraud is yet another big lie. Just how much farther detached from reality can they get.
  23. I think everyone should have to present ID when they enter a store. There's 10 million times more shoplifting than their is proven voter fraud.
  24. The problem with this is the corporations have 50 states competing for their jobs. They basically hold them hostage until they get a deal where taxpayers subsidize their business. If anybody thinks there is an easy solution, or this problem is being caused by "weak minded whiners" , then they need their head examined.
  25. Who besides government can stop American businesses from outsourcing your job and your company to places where they will have less costs, and higher profits. You're a very passionate, but niave man.
