Qb values are always inflated. I’ve read that if Rosen was in this draft, he might have been the top rated qb. I’m sure someone will overpay for him if he becomes available. Probably. If we trade down with the skins I’d say take Hockenson and get a DT and OT I’m the second.

I would love a trade down. If Haskins or Lock is there at 9, the Broncos, Skins, Dolphins, or another team like the Chargers might want to jump up for them. This is my hope. We would probably get another second and would then have ammo to fill out the roster.

Just don’t see us going linebacker with Milano and Edmunds in the fold. Has to be DT.

Kid? Hahah. Hilarious. I ever said he was rated higher than Oliver. I just think McD goes with the process guy over the guy with maintenance issues. Like it or not (I’m assuming not), Beane loves character, which Wilkins has in spades. That’s a big deal.

It’s dropped. He was considered a top three pick (if not first overall) in the college preseason. Now? Not so much. BTW, I showed you proof that people are saying he’s high maintenance. Still waiting on your 5 saying he’s not...

Hahahahaha. Nope. I’m not “getting that”. He’s not high character. It’s been reported that he’s high maintenence and I question his heart at the end of the season. It seeed like he was milking his injured knee which let his teammates down. He’s not a Beane guy. I truly believe that.

Exactly. Fact is Oliver is not a process guy. Christian Wilkins is.

Of course Oliver had better stats. He should. He routinely played against guys that will be paying to watch football games when their college careers are over. Not happening. Wilkins is a Beane guy through and through. Like it or not, Beane loves prototype and character as much as production.

He also likes character. Wilkins has delivered at a high level for four years, has a masters degree (which proves he’s a hard worker), and has been a winner. He’s also prototypical for his position, which Beane also loves.

Bull. He was considered a lock to be a top two pick in the preseason mocks. He’s not anymore. I couldn’t care less about if he’s an inch taller than Donald. He’s not nearly as strong by all accounts. And yes, he’s fallen in the eyes of many people that matter. That doesn’t include you. I watch a ton of football and I’m not taken in by hype. I actually watch the games and listen to the people who are paid for their opinions and then form my own. Oliver has fallen and is very unlikely to be picked by the Bills if they are given their choice of him or Christian Wilkins.

Quinnen Williams and I wouldn’t think twice. That guy is a wrecking ball and is nasty. Fills a huge void left by Kyle too.

Wouldn’t it be cool if we drafted Deebo Samuel? Then we would have a receiver nicknamed Deebo and another nicknamed Smokey.

Then why has he fallen so far in many people’s eyes? That doesn’t just happen. Like I said, too many of you are still buying the hype when he considered a top 5 pick. He’s not anymore. That should tell you something. Too many flags there for me to ignore.

I’m worried about Oliver’s lack of size and his attitude.

I think a top player will fall too. All it takes is a few qbs and a team taking a chance on DK Metcalf or a cornerback. I don’t want Ed Oliver. Not in the least. His measurable are a disappointment, he has a history of injuries, and he might have coaching issues. I would be very wary of his numbers. He might have taken advantage of weaker competition.
