I can’t even fathom how pissed ill be if they draft defense in the first, but I can really see Beane getting someone like Yetur Gross-Matos if he’s there. Then we will select the best available WR at the end of round two. It’s a joke.

I have more than enough confidence that Allen will straighten this issue out this off-season. Last off-season it was about the short to intermediate stuff and now it’s a strength. This is a crappy TE crop coming out from what I understand.
-
This is sort of my point. We need a blue chip WR. Someone like Tee Higgins. I don’t want to wait till the second round to get leftovers. Get the guy you love and feel can help take this offense to the next level.
-
They just can’t keep upgrading the defense when it’s already elite at the expense of not using premium resources on the offense.
-
That’s exactly what I’m afraid of. Meanwhile, we get to choose from the second tier of WRs because all McD wants is elite defenders. Exactly. And they are all small. Nobody to allow them to go up and win a 50/50 ball. If we had that guy, that would have come in handy at the end of today’s game.

It’s so clear to me what we really need to take the next step...offensive weapons. I love John Brown, but he’s more of a WR2. Beasley is our slot guy, that can’t be argued. We need a tall WR that can go get it in the end zone at the end of games. IMO that’s what we need to target above all else this draft. In addition, we could really use a RT. I think Ford will finally be moved inside next year, but we need a true RT. We could look at FA, or in the draft. Either way it’s a huge need. We also need a second RB. Motor has been really good, but we need some reliability when he needs to catch his breath. I’m thinking maybe the fourth or fifth to find this guy. I say all this to plead and beg Beane to upgrade the offense this off-season. Please resist the urge to draft defense in round one and get a real playmaker for this offense. It’s what we need to round out this offense and make us a more complete football team. I get the potential need for pass rusher, but we can’t use all our premium picks on defense each year and expect to keep up with opposing offenses.

Tee Higgins. End thread.

Fouts was right for once...we need a jump ball receiver in the red zone. Tee Higgins would be really useful in those spots.

What a disgusting Offensive effort

Yeah. If we take a defensive player in the first round with Tee Higgins on the board I will break the tv. -
CeeDee will be gone. Long gone. Higgins is exactly what we need. He’s been compared to AJ Green and he’s 6’4”. He’s the perfect compliment to Brown. He would gone Allen a true 50/50 guy. I just hope his stock doesn’t soar and he goes earlier than expected.

My guys are Tee Higgins and Laviska Shenault. Think about this...Lamb and Jeudy will most likely be gone. Ruggs is basically John Brown in terms of what he can do on the field and his skill set. Higgins is a big dude that has played on the biggest stages and produced. He’s a big possession receiver that runs good routes and is deceptively fast. We don’t currently have a guy like that. Put him opposite Brown with Cole in the slot and look out. Shenault is very versatile, but still a go get it type of receiver. He’s very physical and that would also go great opposite Brown.

Freddie Kitchens wore a "Pittsburgh Started It" t-shirt

Where did I say what he did was right? I didn’t. So stop assuming that. The point is...if Rudolph didn’t react the way HE did, it would have never happened. Most people understand that. I guess you’re not one of them. -

So did Rudolph. I guess the first attempt at removing Garrett’s helmet and the kick to the balls is easily overlooked? Come on. Why can’t people see what really happened? -
He really is.

Steelers QB Mason Rudolph fined $50K by NFL

Completely disagree. Go back and watch. He tried to rip Garrett’s helmet off first. I’m not even sure how this is debatable. -

Rudolph started the whole thing. Should have gotten at least a game. If he didn’t react by trying to take Garrett’s helmet off, none of that would have ever happened. 50k is getting off easy IMO...- 89 replies

2020 Draft Position and Potential Targets
whorlnut replied to STL-Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My draft crushes are Tee Higgins and CeeDee Lamb. I really think we will be too far down for Lamb, so Higgins is my guy. He’s 6’4” and has a championship pedigree. Exactly what Allen needs opposite Brown. -
Bills should move CHRIS BROWN to Scouting Department
whorlnut replied to kirkwoodus13's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Exactly. I’m sick of the accuracy complaints about Allen. It’s just easy for people that don’t know much about football to hang onto this theory because the media was saying it predraft. Bottom line is Allen is accurate on the short to mid stuff and the only real problem is the deep ball. I’m tired of hearing about the deep ball as if it’s some kind of high percentage throw to begin with. Ummm...he’s right around 60% right now, so there’s that... -

He’s “right” on a guy that has already been traded and is currently a backup to a journeyman? Ok dude... -

And he loved Jameis Winston and said we should trade all our picks to move up for him. I remember it well... -

Get used to it. Once he starts he doesn’t stop. It’s beyond annoying. He shows up like a zit every now and again and you just have to ride it out for a while. -
So you can admit you were dead wrong about Winston?
