  1. It’s a message board. Anyone is free to comment. Sorry you can’t understand that concept...
  2. Why are you talking so much about the Rams? Why do you care so much? I never said we should trade away years or firsts. I simply said that we might consider moving back up if a prospect we like falls. You brought another team into this and won’t let it go...
  3. I read every word of your drivel...again, I don’t agree so you assume I did t take time to read what you wrote. “Sheesh”
  4. I guess you didn’t read an earlier post saying it was an example. I realize it would take more. Then I asked what the Ravens gave up to go up and get Lamar but nobody answered that.
  5. It’s the truth until proven otherwise...quit being an #%* about this. You know exactly where I’m going with this. You’re coming across as someone who is arguing just to argue at this point...
  6. Yeah it “stinks” because recent history (facts) support my opinion. Beane trades up, not down.
  7. You say that because I don’t share your “opinion”. How noble of you. Good grief...
  8. Exactly. I think it’s silly that some of the posters in this thread think since it’s perceived to be deep, they will all pan out. Right now, three of the hottest names are Jefferson, Claypool, and Mims. However, they probably put themselves out of reach at 54. I highly doubt Beane stays at 54 and watches them get picked if he likes one of them better than Edwards, Shenault, etc.
  9. Again...your scenario stinks because it’s unrealistic. He’s never traded down and most likely won’t do it again this year. Have fun being disappointed when he moves up in the early rounds...
  10. I think Singletary can be a lead back. His vision is elite. But you are right that he always got caught from behind. In fact, he consistently looked behind himself bracing for the tackle. He’s not gonna outrun anyone...
  11. Do you really believe everything a GM says this time of year? Haha...wow...
  12. Thanks for your opinion...
  13. I know what you’re saying and I don’t agree. I can almost guarantee you Beane is not gonna trade down or sit tight and watch players he loves keep getting snatched up. It’s not what he does. Have you even bothered watching the last two drafts? #dropmic
  14. Short story: I completely disagree with yours. We aren’t in the same boat as the Pats or Seahawks. They are perennial winners...we are trying to get there. Yeah I would love some of the players you mentioned, but I think you’re setting yourself up if you think Beane is gonna sit at 54 and wait...
  15. That’s fine...in the mid to late rounds. But Beane has shown that he’s willing to move up in the early rounds for players he is targeting.
  16. There’s almost no chance he trades down. We won’t be able to roster 9 draft picks, as Kirby has mentioned.
  17. Value isn’t there? Wrong. If that were the case, then team after team EVERY year wouldn’t do it, right? This is precisely how elite talent gets passes up on. This is also how a rebuilding team operates. We are beyond our rebuild and ready to win now.
  18. You guys aren’t listening to what I’m saying...I’m saying there is a chance Beane likes a certain WR better than the rest. He might not be there at 54. All WR are not created equal. Just because there is a lot of talent doesn’t mean the one that fits your needs is a dime a dozen...
  19. Who made those decisions? That’s right...not Beane. Next...
  20. Yep...hence my argument...
  21. All these WRs are not created equal. I’m sure there will be a few that Beane falls for and if they happen to start coming off the board, I think it’s more realistic than not that he moves up to get the one he likes. It all depends which one he thinks would pair best with our QB. I knew this wouldn’t be a popular thread, but it’s something to consider based off of Beane’s aggressive nature.
  22. I understand your premise, but it’s not really what I’m suggesting. I think we should stay at 22 and then move back into the bottom of 1 to get someone they love if he starts to fall.
  23. Ok guys...I’ll try to make everyone feel “better”. Forget about the first next year. Let’s trade a combo of picks this year to get back into 1. I’m not about to sit at 54 (if I’m Beane) and hope a guy that I love falls. He’s shown the propensity to move up when someone is sticking out, so I think all the chips are on the table THIS year...
  24. Fine. But either way. It’s not that far from what the Ravens did in 2018 to move to the bottom of the first to get Lamar Jackson. They were in the 16 range and we are at 22. Anyone remember what the gave up?
  25. I think it’s silly to worry about a future pick when we might be able to take the division this year. I’m not sure why people are worried about that. And I completely disagree about talent. If someone like Justin Jefferson is there at 29-32, then you try to make the move.
