  1. Well this is 2021, and you have to be able to score with teams like the Chiefs. Getting Star back next year will help the defense. Don’t think for one second that we are set on offense and only need to add to the d. I’d be ok with that too...
  2. I’ve never seen someone this shifty.
  3. I hope you’re wrong.
  4. If you guys get 6 minutes to watch something that will blow your mind, then check this guy out... Joe Marino mentioned him along with Travis Ettienne as guys that could take this offense to the next level. I have to agree. I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone that’s able to cut like this. He literally made a guy leave on a cart after breaking him down. Unreal...
  5. Yeah I’m done with Singletary. His mistake last night might have cost us any real chance at that game. He’s proven all year that he’s not the guy. He and Moss are almost the same player, but Moss is better at breaking tackles. We have control of Moss for a year longer on his rookie deal too. I really don’t want to see Singletary in a bills uniform again. I think he’s as much to blame for how that game swung as anyone.
  6. Can someone explain to me why Daboll completely abandoned running Allen in red zone situations? Why did he get cute when we got to that spot and not take an almost automatic score? It really makes no sense.
  7. Here are my thoughts. First...I loved what we saw of Jackson. Seems to have a nose for the ball, hits harder than his size says he should, is willing to play special teams, and has made plays every time he’s in the game. Second...McD has typically had a stud corner on one side and a project on the other. This goes back to his Carolina days with Norman and Munnerlin. Third...I think it would be foolish to expect the Bills to draft a corner high when it’s clear we need offense and pass rush to be able to keep up with teams like the chiefs. Jackson can more than handle CB2 with Tre as CB1 going forward. There are way more pressing needs than to draft another corner.
  8. I stopped reading after your first point. I completely agree on the enormity of that drop by Singletary. IMO, that completely shifted momentum and signaled the beginning of the end. Had he caught that we might have scored and continued to put pressure on the chiefs. That drop was awful. I honestly hope we never see Singletary in a bills uniform ever again. He’s just not good. We need someone that can do all this and have speed to boot. He just doesn’t have it.
  9. Completely disagree. What is the difference between us and a team like the Chiefs? Speed at every level. A guy like ettienne would provide speed in the run game as well as a pass catcher.
  10. Thanks for explaining. Maybe next time post the link?
  11. I don’t want to live in a world where we are questioning Jim Kelly. I love Allen as much as anyone, but until proven otherwise over a long career, Allen is a distant second to Jimbo. I actually can’t believe I read that to be honest. Kelly played a good game and it wasn’t his fault the defense couldn’t stop Anderson and get him the ball back. Look...the K-gun’s downfall was that we were so efficient that we scored too quickly, not allowing the defense time to rest. OP...I don’t mean to be harsh, but I’m not sure what you’re trying to accomplish here.
  12. Again...we just don’t know. It might happen, but to say we know he’ll be gone next year is just wrong.
  13. We “know” Daboll is gone next year? Uh ok...I thought that was supposed to happen this year? Bottom line...nobody “knows” anything. Maybe teams don’t view Daboll’s personality as head coach material. We have no idea...
  14. This is not a good take. We have had one of the best passing offenses all year and a fairly week run game. We have won 15 games by doing it this way.
  15. Imo, our first round pick should come down to pass rusher, tight end, or Travis Ettienne. Dane Jackson has shown a lot of flash when he gets in games and Levi Wallace has played pretty well at CB2. IMO, we don’t need to take a CB in the first. So...that brings me back to the three that I mentioned. Pass rusher might actually not be as big a need as we think. Epenesa has progressed throughout the year and Daryl Johnson has elite measurables for the position. I’m not saying we wouldn’t take a pass rusher at the bottom of the first, but we might be picking the fourth or fifth one at that point. Now let’s consider the tight end. Dawson Knox is so unreliable that I think most of us can appreciate that we need a complete player at that position. Kyle Pitts will likely be gone by the middle of the round, so that leaves Pat Freiermuth. This guy is a beast. He didn’t get the nickname Baby Gronk by accident. He blocks, runs good routes, and catches the ball cleanly. Yes please. Travis Ettienne. IMO, this is what this offense is missing. He is the dynamic change of pace back that teams can use in so many ways. Kinda like how Thurman was. Great in the run game and as a pass catcher. Fast, too. Another sleeper at the bottom of the round could be offensive line. I really think that outside of pass rusher, the first rounder should be on offense. You have to be able to score points in this league. The defense is good enough to get off the field. That’s what we need. And Star will be back so we will already be better off next year.
  16. No. No he’s not.
  17. Not only would he, but I expect him to. Allen gets it. He knows that in order to win consistently you need to spread the money around. It’s what Brady did. Plus, he’s the type of guy that would bet on himself and know that as long he works hard and doesn’t get hurt, he will have lots of time to make all the money that he’s worth.
  18. I might be in the minority, but who gives a bleep about them pumping up the ravens? At the end of the day, it will be settled on the field so stop getting so bent on a few people’s opinions. Good grief...
  19. Well...you are in the minority thinking Rivers choked. That’s all I’m gonna say...
  20. I was wondering, because to say Rivers stunk and choked yesterday is completely ridiculous. He had a great game. All qbs miss throws every game.
  21. Well...I “simply” was... You just cherry picked a few negatives. What about all the good throws and no turnovers? Rivers played well. And that fourth down throw hit Pittman in both hands. It was a very good throw off his back foot. I’d argue that Rivers looked as good yesterday as he had all year. Kudos to him...
  22. That’s not what I saw at all...Rivers was really good.
