Here’s my thing…I know the dude is a good team player and all, but at what point is he having a face to face with Beane about why they don’t spend premium resources on the offense (outside of Diggs).

This. I’m pretty tired of hearing Beane blow off about how important it is to help out Allen and then goes out and gives him some patchwork offensive help and drafts a first round DB. Oh by the way…I think the smokescreen about a first round running back has completely run it’s course after last night.

Don’t forget that every single one of the offensive players are on cheap one year deals. Not necessarily evenly spread at all when you look at the big picture.

Well considering it was the coaches that cost us in that spot, I highly doubt it…

Legit defense? It makes me laugh when I read stuff like this. We were ranked number one this past season. And if you want to dismiss the ranking because of “who we faced”, fine. Either way, we were a top 5 unit. Don’t post things that aren’t true that the numbers don’t support.

So by drafting a corner in round one, that means he will be a pro bowler? That logic isn’t sound. Once the top dogs are gone, the rest have flaws. Don’t force the pick just cause you “need” one. That’s how you end up making a bad pick.

Singletary and Johnson are on one year deals. Moss is basically a non factor at this point. It wouldn’t surprise me one bit to see Hall being added.

The thing that makes me really believe that running back is NOT a smokescreen is that we made an actual play on JD McKissic. That can’t be faked. We literally offered him 4.5 million a year to be our pass catching specialist out of the backfield. To those who are opposed to Hall in round 1 because he would take the ball out of Allen’s hands…really? McKissic is a pass catching back that caught 100 balls in a season. Hall is a pass catching running back who also runs really well when needed. He’s also good in pass pro. To me, he’s exactly what the Bills have been looking for.
