I honestly wouldn’t. You can’t do something just for the sake of doing something. He brings nothing to the table that’s going to contribute to this team making a legitimate Super Bowl push. I’d rather use the resources trading for a DL/DE to fill in for Hoecht than a Deebo Nothingburger. As much as we all want a shiny new toy at WR, myself included, Defense is still the glaring need. I mean you CAN make more than one move, maybe Beane should be taking a few notes from Howie Roseman.

It makes so much sense, and I realllly don’t want it to happen, so obviously it will be announced in like 5-10 minutes while the Bills will trade for Cooper Kupp or something completely irrelevant.

Deebo is cooked. Dude is a constant presence on the injury report for the last few years now. Just zero interest on my end in him or Olave for those reasons. I could probably be sold on Olave at the right price, but Deebo is just a shell of what he was. Waddle or Wilson, he did it with Diggs, he needs to pay the division premium and get it done. Tee Higgins is another guy I’d be in on. Bengals were foolish for paying two WRs in the first place, and while he just reupped, that doesn’t seem to be precluding the Jets from moving on from guys they’ve recently resigned to huge deals.

The cap can always be manipulated… I think the Saints just got done paying Drew Brees.

With Beane’s drafting record he’d be smart to trade for proven commodities, as much as the cap allows vs drafting and missing more often than not. Waddle on this team could be a lot of fun, even if he is banged up more often than I would care for... A lot more fun than watching Keon Coleman ride the struggle bus every week. Id give them Keon and a pick at this point and not even be scared that it’s going to come back and bite me in the arse bc I’m that certain Keon will never be anything special in this league. He’ll just be lucky enough to just be in the league period after his rookie contract is up… I’m sure he’ll float around the league on one year deals and practice squads.
