  1. This Chiefs team could easily lose any of its remaining games. vs Chargers At Browns vs Texans At Pittsburgh At Denver If Chiefs keep playing like they have all season, and they’ll be lucky to go 3-2 down the stretch. I know it sounds crazy to say, but that offense is nothing special. Considering every defense they have to go up against is formidable to say the least, and three of those games being on the road, 2-3 is very possible.
  2. You can’t make this garbage up. Chiefs are the worst 1 loss team I’ve ever seen, the defense is carrying Mahomes, the goat talk can just stop now. Mahomes has looked extremely pedestrian this season, hasn’t even been a top 3 QB in the league this year, let alone “goat”.
  3. Rochester makes too much sense in terms of the way the city has supported minor league affiliates, and its strong support of the Bills. I’m not sure where the team would play however…
  4. Idk, you ever try delivering pizza without a GPS?
  5. It would’ve happened last year in the playoffs if the Bills LB corps wasn’t literally the most depleted it’s ever been in all my years watching this team. I knew as soon as AJ Klein was on the field, trying to play coverage there was no chance of them stopping KC at all that game. Had Bernard been healthy I’m pretty sure this team goes to the SuperBowl last year. Hell, they could’ve probably gotten the job done with Williams and Spector, but AJ Klein was just a bridge too far.
  6. The Left put themselves in this position. Biden’s age/health were a concern much longer than 107 days ago. There should’ve been a better plan B than “just run the VP who polled like absolute ***** in the 2020 primaries.” It should’ve been a mutual understanding back in 2020 that Biden was going to be a one term president to “right the ship”.
  7. Yeah but the trade deadline being pushed back the way it has puts a lot more sellers on the market than years past. KC got a WR and a DL, Bills have draft capital, and while I don’t want them to squander it, I think they have just as good of chance at winning the Super Bowl as any other in years past, so let’s put all the chips in the middle. With the way Cooper’s contract is a non issue, I’m sure there is another player or two who could be added with a similar minor cap hit.
  8. The Run McD can be frustrating to watch at times, but the scheme clearly works more than it doesn’t… However when it doesn’t it can be ugly, as shown by King Henry and the guy they’re up against this week who’s run all over this McDefense on more than one occasion…
  9. This was my immediate thinking, the QB is down when he starts to give himself up, not where the knee goes down. But the NFL rule book is so convoluted, it’s probably only if you slide and not dive.
  10. The ball clearly moves, where’s the challenge? Elam had his arm in there, clearly dislodged the ball and it was moving as he went out. I’m sure glad the team employs a replay expert…
  11. Yeah, and go back to watch that play. Fins OT false starts by an F’N mile, then Mostert lowers HIS head = 15 yards against Buffalo. Thats ref math for ya…
  12. Too bad fans couldn’t just boycott this ***** product for a couple weeks. Refs need to keep the laundry off the field. How hard of a concept is it to understand “if it’s not egregious, leave the flag in your pocket and let them play ball” FFS…
  13. Riot… that’s the only acceptable recourse.
  14. There needs to be a very clear and concise explanation as to why the league can intervene and overturn bad or missed calls, but then allows bs like that Rapp “penalty” to stand? Nevermind the blatant false start completely missed at the start of the play. Horrendous officiating.
  15. Both are fun to watch, but my main takeaway is that RBs are just a dime a dozen so long as you have everything else in place- scheme, blockers who fit that scheme, a QB defenses have to respect/can’t stack the box against, and runners who simply understand which holes to hit and when. Not saying that guys like him and Cook don’t have certain intangibles that make them above average RBs, but I think as a GM I’d find it almost impossible to ever extend one who wanted to be paid like CMC or Barkley.
  16. Offense feels like it’s basically in the same place it was at this time last year right before they made the decision to move on from Dorsey. The passing game is just stagnant, hopefully that changes as Cooper becomes acclimated to the scheme. Not sure how much blame rests with Josh, but he’s certainly not without fault…
  17. Can you believe we just gave NFL All World Receiver of the Year Xavier Worthy to the Chiefs?
  18. Scored too fast, can this team do anything right?
  19. Anybody else kinda wish Zurlein had made his field goals last week if it would’ve gotten us closer to being rid of McDermott since this team is very obviously not competing for a SuperBowl, again, this year?
  20. Johnson needs to be more disciplined than that, no need to lower the head there. I get it’s bang bang in the heat of the moment, but dude needs to be smarter in that situation.
  21. Who says he’s a rental? They resigned Rasul… even so, if he is a rental, his departure will factor into the comp pick formula, and they get a late 3rd back the following year. Bills once upon a time signed a great WR past his prime, who’d played with quite a few teams around the league, and then helped propel them to a run of 4 straight Super Bowl appearances…
  22. I think you’re ignoring the fact that the best player in football has been surrounded by arguably the worst WR group in the history of the franchise, void of any legitimate #1. When you have a QB like Josh, and the AFC is wide open, you don’t stand pat and hold on to what you are hoping will be the last pick in the 3rd round, bc when you have 17, THAT is the goal, a championship NOW. It is not adding a role player later that will maybe help the team what, in 2027? Nevermind they have plenty of draft capital for next year, Amari has a super team friendly contract, they could still recoup a comp pick if he walks, and Beane has more than enough time to wheel n’ deal between now and May. Why even doubt Beane at this point? He built this team, and is the guy who drafted all the players you mentioned, he knows what he’s doing. The trade for Rasul last year literally saved the season, and had the LB corps not been completely decimated against KC, it could’ve propelled them to the Super Bowl, as I’m assuming Beane is hoping with this move as well…
  23. Casuals overvalue draft picks, free agency exists…
  24. Fire the coach one game back in the division, trade away future assets at 2-4 for overpriced, aging wide receiver. The Jets seem serious… about claiming the record for the longest playoff drought in NFL history bc it’s going to take a miracle to right this ship any time soon. Even if they get a top pick, you know they’re just going to do their best to ruin that QB like they’ve done to literally every single QB they’ve drafted in the last 20+ years.
  25. I’m sure this will go over well after a W, but it still feels like any other recent season to me. I see no reason why it should end differently than the typical McDermott playoff run. Literally the week after the end of game debacle in Houston, we see the same ol’ same ol’ at the end of half here tonight against the Jets. He is who he is at this point in his coaching career. If by the grace of God they go on a run in the playoffs it will be because of 17 playing absolutely out of his mind, and in spite of McDermott who will likely do everything in his power to choke the game away. Most weeks he won’t get lucky enough to face a kicker worse than his own who chokes the game back to him… But, when they inevitably flame out in the divisional round, again, hopefully Beane will smarten up and throw all the money at Ben Johnson. I highly doubt Johnson would pass up getting a chance to work with Josh Allen for his first head coaching gig. Joe Brady’s offense just ain’t doing it for me, and this team shouldn’t be settling for mediocrity when they still have the best football player on the planet under center. Get me Ben Johnson to coach the team so you know nobody is poaching the guy scheming the offense, Saleh as DC, and buy a trophy case… However, the team will likely always be solid under Sean, so long as he has Josh, and that’s probably, sadly, good enough for the Pegulas when you look comparably at how abysmal their ownership of the Sabres has been.
