Milano and Edmunds OUT against Miami
Delete_Delete_Delete replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I hope you’re right in assuming these guys can step in, the only one at all proven at this level is Klein, and 5 years ago is ancient history in football. My point was this team has had some issues with power runners between the tackles when they had Star in the middle and Edmunds/Milano both healthy. Im not rooting for it to happen, but I definitely could see Howard going for a good chunk of yards with a couple TDs. Just last year against this team Howard went for 96 yards and a touchdown, while Miles Sanders chipped in 74 and another TD in an ugly loss to the Iggles. -

Would You Trade For Zach Ertz?
Delete_Delete_Delete replied to Buffalo03's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don’t think they could afford him while planning to retain this core group of young players they’ve developed, for the long haul. But if they could manage to trade and extend him while keeping other pieces moving forward (safeties, Edmunds, Allen), then yeah, definitely. Not sure what the price would be since ATL gave up a 2nd for Hayden Hurst... but an elite TE is huge difference maker, look at the two teams in the Super Bowl last year, arguably the two best TEs in the game right now. Brady with peak Gronk, and that other dude... Manning had Dallas Clark... Elway and Sharpe... Elite TE’s seem to be a pretty big piece to the puzzle in terms of winning it all, and contending for a title consistently. Knox is progressing, but definitely not on Ertz’s level. -
Crazy that people still don’t understand that masks aren’t a means of protection but used to reduce the transmission from infected, especially the asymptomatic. To simplify, it’s to keep your spit to yourself... Remember “say it don’t spray it”, kinda like that Einstein’s...You think spit particles aren’t going to have a harder time penetrating both your mask AND my mask than it would if we weren’t wearing masks at all? It’s literally common sense. Holy ***** how are people this ***** stupid??? prevention not protection... super hard concept I get it, but stick with it and someday maybe you will figure it out

Alex Smith cleared for football per PFT.

Wouldn’t be the craziest name... “Mr. Smith goes to Washington” is a movie... Washington Smiths Still wouldn’t be the worst named team in the Capital City. -
Report: bills wanted to draft Wilson/Prescott
Delete_Delete_Delete replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I was so mad watching the Russel Wilson draft live... Buffalo traded up for what I was certain had to be Wilson. Seemed like fate, owner R Wilson, future of the franchise R Wilson... then they announced the pick was TJ Graham and my head exploded. -
Will NFL be 7 on 7 football this year?
Delete_Delete_Delete replied to major's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
IF they delay the start of the season, remove fans for the year, hopefully develop some PPE for the players, as well as enforce strict rules during the season as it pertains to players going to mass gatherings that aren’t team related, the season will still be played. IF states simply crackdown on simple things like wearing a mask, social distancing, restrict large group activities, etc., for long enough (and don’t rush to be the first to re-open, Texas), then there is no reason for the rest of the states currently spiking to not to fall to the levels of New York, or better... It truly is bewildering how so many people and states as a whole, chose to politicize a pandemic rather than take heed to the ugly reality of this virus playing out right in there own country as it ravaged NYC. Dangerous times when people prioritize political ideologies over the general health and well being of themselves and most importantly, their fellow person. However those are some big IFs. -
Does the NFL have a bubble plan? Covid rising
Delete_Delete_Delete replied to Ramza86's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Personally i doubt they’re going to be running around Florida with Covid rates rising... besides, they basically have anything they want at their disposal on Disney’s grounds. It’s not like they are in prison, they are staying at 5 star accommodations with plenty of ways to entertain themselves when not focusing on trying to win a championship and earning those far pay checks. my mother’s 30 something year old co worker died from this, and my wife was sick for about 7 weeks, suffering a collapsed lung and heart issues... keep telling yourself whatever narrative helps you get to sleep at night -
Expand 2020 Rosters Due to COVID-19
Delete_Delete_Delete replied to BisonMan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would expand on the quarantined back up QB idea. They should consider doubling the size of the practice squad and keep them quarantined for the duration of the season. PS level players would do anything for a crack at the 53, including being quarantined for 4-5 months. -
How would you feel about a 6 game NFL season?
Delete_Delete_Delete replied to JetsFan20's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They’ll play a full season or close to it... even if they have to push the start date all the way back to January, the league would take a heavy delay before losing out on a years worth of revenue. -
I once wore a Red Sox hat to a Bills game... some a hole tried to grab the hat off my head and tell me “you can’t wear a Red Sox hat to a Bills game!” I was just puzzled... I told him I didn’t think the Bills were playing the Red Sox that day, besides it’s Red White and Blue with a B on it, pretend it means Bills and stfu. Sue me for trying to keep my favorite teams color coordinated...

Jake Fromm: Controversial comments
Delete_Delete_Delete replied to Elite Poster's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Let’s cancel every person who has said something stupid, insensitive, out of touch, or just down right offensive at any point in their lives... Thanos snap everybody out of existence who has ever said anything offensive in private conversation, and I guarantee we lose a whole lot more than 50% of the world’s population. -
So glad this team hasn’t caved in to “needing a new stadium”. With all this “new normal” propaganda being put in our face 24/7, I wouldn’t be surprised to see a reduction in fans allowed inside stadiums for the foreseeable future. So much remains unknown going forward, a vaccine certainly is not a given to be developed, nor necessarily be all that effective (I.e. seasonal flu vaccines). I’m starting to wonder if the league will eventually move to a pay per view/subscription based model to make up for lost attendance revenue.

White knight, another lame played out buzzword. You think it’s cool to shame people for trying to be funny. You called his stuff an abortion. I think people like you are the worst kind of people. Call that whatever you want. An easy Mark? Somebody takes their gimmick a little too seriously. Glad you’re having a lot of fun with the thread though... -

“Tantrum”, Nice way to try and trivialize a simple point being made. All I’m saying it’s a lot ***** cooler to be kind and not ***** on people for trying to do something. If you don’t like it keep on moving instead of stoping to cop a squat in somebody’s Cheerios. But whatever, you’re clearly oozing elitist snark, so I doubt this zebra is changing its stripes any time soon. -

The point is clearly over your head. But you’re obviously too cool for school so I digress. Wouldn’t expect much more from a dude who spends all his time pining over one liners on a football message board under the guise of total anonymity... -

Bills coaches and players get paid obscene amounts of money. They are openly criticized by the media on a regular basis. This is just a random dude putting himself out there. You’re right that the comments here weren’t that bad other than the “abortion” remark. It just looked like people were starting to pile on, and I just jumped in before this turned into the YouTube comments section. Smart move. With oil being at negative right now Petroleum jelly should start dropping to all time lows. Overworked Fleshlights around the country collectively breath a sigh of relief. -

Nope, just on my soap box. I love comedy, and respect those for trying. Never did I say I found it hilarious, but there were some things he can build on going forward. I just don’t understand why people can’t be respectful of others while critiquing their work. Just a basic human decency issue... Rather than crap all over it, why not just let it fade away into the obscurity of the inter webs? -

My bad, I forgot everything labeled “comedy” is always funny... Except for like the 80% of it that’s not... at all. But people who appreciate comedy/comedians also respect those for trying and realize the guts it takes to put yourself out there. I mean I’m watching SNL and still trying to figure out what’s supposed to be funny about these Pete Davidson songs, and he’s a paid professional comedian... and it didn’t get funny until Adam Sandler came in. Comedy show, yet often sketches fall flat... but it’s comedy, shouldn’t it be funnny!? Why can’t people just not be complete ***** #######s and refer to somebody’s hard work as an “abortion”, and rather try to give the kid some constructive criticism. It’s way cooler to be mean, I totally get it. -

I mean, people could just not comment rather than take a giant ***** on people with the balls to take creative/artistic choices while you spend quarantine stuffing your face with frozen pizzas and depleting the nations supply of Jergens and Kleenex... It’s as if people now are raised with the principle “if you don’t have anything nice to say, make sure you really lay it on, just make them feel absolutely worthless. Make everybody a giant miserable turd like yourself”
