I want as much quality depth as possible. Normally I’d be all about trading aging players for draft picks, but this team is looking to win a title now. All In. Unless he can be packaged to finally swing Ertz, just stack the depth on the Edge, especially since I see Obada kicking inside on 3rd downs.

We need separate countries, it seems inevitable to me. I just don't know how the other country survives without New York or California but I can't wait to find out. My 32 yr old wife also got Covid back in March 20 when nobody knew anything about the virus... She suffered a collapsed lung, was sick about two months couldn't even get a test, let alone proper treatment. She's anything but overweight, was healthy, and in the age group where nothing was supposed to happen. Then there was the Post Viral illness, aka "long covid" lead to hair loss, lung scarring, POTS, chronic fatigue, brain fog, and last but not least, a stroke... I'm not looking for pity, I'm looking for idiots to stop politicizing a pan freaking demic. Stop acting like a bunch of felines when it comes to masks... What is the big deal??? It's a small piece of cloth that helps other people maybe not die... These gun loving dolts are so tough but can't be bothered to cover their ugly faces at wegmans so grandma and grandpa don't die a horrible, painful lonely death. If past generations could see what's become of this country today I doubt they would make the same sacrifices all over again, since so many can't even "sacrifice" covering their stupid faces. You don't think your kids should mask, then homeschool them. Can't do that? Then move to a school district that doesn't require teachers to be alive in order to teach your snot nosed kids.

If Edmunds has a solid season Id trade him while his stock is high and fill his role via draft. Now that this team has a franchise QB to pay, can’t commit that much to a player who is good but not great.

Meanwhile how did they look in their two games vs the Ravens who the Bills completely smothered defensively. In two games vs the Ravens, the Browns gave up 85 points and lost both. The Bills allowed 3 points, the Browns 42.5 per game, so forgive me for thinking this entire argument is a giant steaming pile of garbage basing it on the fact they signed an underachieving DE and drafted a bunch of unproven players just like everybody else did. As if them filling holes in the draft is somehow better than the Bills addressing their need at the edge. If you’re going to cherry pick how they did vs the Chiefs, while still LOSING, without a full game of Mahomes, then you can’t neglect how they got completely owned by the Ravens while Buffalo did the polar opposite not even allowing a single TD.

No, It's about having an elite QB. You don't need THE best QB, but you do need generally a top 5-10 QB to pull it off.... Every now and again a Foles or Flacco comes along, but it's generally not a recipe for sustained success. Even then, still not convinced Mahomes IS better than Josh, he's just sustained that level of play over multiple seasons. Give both QBs Travis Kelce to compliment their #1 WR and then we can talk about who's better. Josh is certainly more durable, much tougher to take down, elusive, more of a dual threat, and literally brings everything to the table Mahomes does as a passer.

Then everything else doesn't matter bc top to bottom the rest of their roster isn't that much better than Buffalo's (if it is, apparently OP is one of those crystal ball guys who can see how draft picks will impact year 1, pretty sure he had Gabriel Davis penciled in for contributing 7 TD catches year 1, right???), and the QB position as pointed out by everybody else is THAT much more important than every other position. It's pretty cool that OP thinks Cleveland's draft picks will automatically make more of an impact than Beane's decision to address the weakest spot on The Bills... the pass rush... lemme get those lotto numbers when you're done. Nevermind McDermott > Stefanski by a flipping mile as well.

IDK why so many are doubting that Beane will address CB in some capacity. When has he just threw his hands up and said "oh well, let's hope this is good enough"? Every year he brings in proven vets to compete at spots that didn't get addressed through the draft to his liking, this year will be no different. Also, its not a given that Wallace has plateaued, and Johnson is more than solid in the Nickel role. Levi was a UDFA, Taron 5th round, stop sleeping on the mastermind and... trust the process.

Beane likes his freaks. Makes sense when you trust that the right coaching staff is in place. Draft the guys with the physical intangibles you can't teach, and rely on your staff to polish them into diamonds.

Beane really is great at what he does. Pass Rushers are always going to be a premium position in FA, and with the contract Josh has coming to him very soon, this is the best way to address it for the immediate future. Also, they are signing and drafting guys with versatility to play any position along D-Line. AJ, Rousseau, Basham, Obada, and Oliver... Why would they draft offense? They went 13-3, punted the least of any team in the league, where as on the other side of the ball the one problem area was consistently generating pressure on the opposing QB. If Beane can put together a top 10 pass rush through the draft while paying Josh, Diggs and other crucial extensions as he managed this offseason, it's just a matter of when, not if they win a Superbowl.

Very polarizing pick. It’s like “wrong Josh” all over again, hopefully it plays out similarly. Swing for the fences, sometimes you might strike out, but when you’ve already hit a Josh Allen, you’ve earned the right to keep trying to hit them out of the park.

I’d go DB or Edge if possible at that spot, take the positions who command the most $$$ in FA that way you get the best value out of the 5th year option if the guy is a keeper.

I want to put $100 on Josh but I’m pretty certain I am the real life embodiment of William H Macy’s character in “The Cooler”, soooo I will try to refrain.

I'm guessing we're just going to have to hope Epenesa develops into a legit DE and Odaba is just starting to realize his potential. Those guys could really turn the whole pass rush around.

I must’ve missed it, he wasn’t listed on the injury report for the game and I don’t remember hearing anything about him. I know Smoke was never the same following his injury, Beas and Davis were both severely hampered and Diggs was banged up but I don’t recall seeing or hearing anything about McKittrick. You are probably right, especially on the 19th game of the season, I’m sure nobody is at 100% by then. He had to be better off than Beas and Davis tho who were both actually listed on the injury report.

I still don’t get why he wasn’t utilized at all against KC, especially with the WR corps being banged up. He has proven to be effective when stepping in for Beasley and most importantly brings that much needed element of speed and open field elusiveness. I’m not saying he would’ve tipped the scales in Buffalo’s favor but I think having him be actively involved in the game plan would’ve made more sense than trotting out injured players who couldn’t get any separation. Especially with the pressure Josh was under, McKenzie RAC ability and the short passing game could’ve really helped open things up for the offense.

That Star contract really sucks. Feel like it’s hindered the team from making exactly this kind of signing this offseason. However it’s really the only move I think I could criticize Beane for during his tenure here, but pobody’s nerfect. Hopefully he’s learned not to sink significant money into a rotational lineman right before a pandemic hits...

If he comes cheap enough, welcome back. Being only 27 still it would hard to say no to a team friendly deal knowing what he’s capable of when at his best...

In all fairness it’s not like Arizona couldn’t take the leap to Super Bowl contender if Murray continues to progress and they add the right pieces through the draft. Missed the playoffs by one game and could definitely win the division, especially if Russ gets traded.

I wouldn’t automatically assume Milano is gone. There’s going to be a lot of FA’s looking for big $ that’s not going to be there with the lower cap # for the 21-22 season. I expect to see more one year/short term deals than normal with guys betting on themselves to get that big deal the following season.

If he doesn’t possess breakaway speed then I wouldn’t spend a top pick on him. We need a little Al Davis mentality with this draft and off season in that increasing speed on both sides of the ball is a necessity to overcome the KC hump. Better use of the player personnel in big spots however is still required to make the whole thing work- I.e getting your fast guys like McKenzie on the field instead of hobbled WR’s in the AFC championship. McKenzie just felt very under utilized to me throughout the entire post season.
