Rams are in the NFC title game... Bucs won last year... I think they built a solid foundation, now you go add a few "elite" level players. Get rid of Star, Beas, Klein, Sanders, and restructure here and there, Bills go out and get themselves Chandler Jones and trade for Khalil Mack. Can't just keep running it back, you try once fine, but a splash is needed here and there. -
What does Allen work on this summer?

Similarities to the ‘88/‘89 Team Persist
Delete_Delete_Delete replied to K-9's topic in The Stadium Wall
Hopefully, they mirror that era Bills team in signing a star WR from Green Bay, who helped them get over the hump as well... Well atleast the AFC hump... I think once Josh gets to a Super Bowl he rewrites the Buffalo sports narrative. -
Calvin Ridley...do they bills go all in!?
Delete_Delete_Delete replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall
I mean if you're gonna go all in, and want to do everything in their power to secure home field, this is the kind of "Randy Moss to New England" type of move Beane needs to make. I'm sure Davante has grown tired of Rodgers shtick and while the rumors are swirling that he's headed to Vegas, I think the idea of catching balls from 17 and having a much easier road to homefield in the AFCE rather than the AFCW, could all go a long ways to luring him to WNY. What about Diggs? I'll worry about that bridge when I come to it. Get rid of Beasley, no Sanders, Knox still on his rookie deal, restructure here and there, trade your 1st rounder for Khalil Mack, move on from Hughes and Star. There's enough money coming off, with Josh only due $16.5 Mil, that serious moves need to be made. They tried to "run it back", that didn't work, some gutsy big time splashes are needed. -

Rather part with inflated salaries and make a play for Davante Adams. -
Point clearly over your head. Lets break it down slowly for you. bills Squib, it takes atleast 3-4 seconds off the clock. 9-10 seconds is not enough time to run the same plays they did to get in FG range. Then the defensive play calling to not give up a TD, again that's McD'a bad more than it's greatness by Mahomes. Mahomes just took exactly what McD gave him and had been giving him all... game... long. Do me a favor and smack your face a little harder...

How many chances does McDermott have left?
Delete_Delete_Delete replied to Igotbills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Lots of people too scared of going back to what was... not realizing even if McD goes we still have arguably the most talented QB ever to play the position. Absolutely. He gets one more try and getting over the hump, after that you stop wasting prime Allen on a good coach, and find him a great one. -
Absolutely, most of us have a lifetime/decades of heartbreak invested in this, while most of these guys have been with the team for a few years. While it hurts to lose a game like that, they get to home to their mansions, sports cars, luxurious off season vacations, and millions $ while we are back to the grind with nothing but another season ending in heartbreak. After decades just when you thought you'd seen and experienced it all, this team, the one you swore was different, just found a new way to rip your heart out of your chest and stomp on it in front of you... only now your children bear witness to this unspeakable torment you have just endured and thus will never see you in the same light again. Yes, it definitely hurts us worse. It's our city, it's our team, and it sure af felt like it was supposed to be our time as fans.

I've been saying this since mid-season. McDermott is a good head coach, he's a great leader, but as an in-game manager, I would call him very average. Just look at how many different ways he managed to bungle 13 freaking seconds- To scared to squib it. Then the defense again played off, SCARED to give up a TD... The whole game this defense played terrified and they still gave up big play after big play with NO DEFENSIVE ADJUSTMENTS. Last night epitomized the fact that McDermott is successful bc of Josh Allen, and not the other way around, and clearly he will be in Josh's way of getting a ring for Buffalo. You got the QB who is a true generational talent, he can make all the throws like Mahomes AND run over defenders like King Henry yet with 13 seconds left McJauron shows his true colors and choked, period. How many times do we need to see the Bills lose close games before we accept the fact that he's Doug Collins and not our Phil Jackson??? This current iteration under McJauron has proven time and time again- either they get out in front with a big lead, or they lose, especially this season. Great coaches would be lining up around One Bills Drive for a chance to attach themselves and their legacy to Josh Allen. I know they won't make a change because they are too scared to go back to being irrelevant, but that's ridiculous bc with Josh this team will always be a contender, that much is certainly clear. But a head coach who rests is laurels on his defensive prowess then can't deliver an even halfway decent performance with his "#1 Ranked defense", when it maters most???? Sorry but clearly that's the weak link holding this team back, the guy responsible for in game management and adjustments on the defensive side of the ball. Look at the 4 teams in the championship games- offensive minded head coaches paired with strong defenses. So find me one of those and hire Wink Martindale to run the defense.

I keep telling myself, its just a game played by millionaires... it doesn't REALLY matter, you have a wonderful wife and kid... and I still just am overcome with this overwhelming urge to vomit. It feels like somebody died... not like an immediate family member, but like an entertainer or athlete you grew up admiring... Because this season is dead, and Mc Jauron killed it because Clappy McGuilicutty didn't trust the ST, the unit they actually specifically waste roster spots on guys like Taiwan Jones for, to, get this... cover a squib kick!!! There's no way KC runs two plays and get's a FG off with a squib... One of the worst choke jobs ever by a headcoach after his QB went out there and delivered an all time great performance. Mc Jauron's "specialty" is defense... It was non-existant. He has bungled in game management time after time. If he washes out again next year, then I think it's time to start finding coaches who want to try and actually bring home a MFing SuperBowl with a GENERATIONAL talent under center! 17 took his game to a whole nother level, and all MC Jaron did was find another way to drop the ball! There was nothing more Allen could have done, his coach failed him plain and simple, and the majority of you are fine with welcoming him back unconditionally. That's loser mentality. Coaches would give their left nut to have the chance to build a team around and coach a squad lead by Josh Allen. He's in his prime now, Mc Jauron get's one more year, bc if I'm Terry Pegula I'm telling Beane, Mc Jauron is good, but we need a great coach to pair with my great QB before that window shuts.

Titans changing policy to limit opposing fans
Delete_Delete_Delete replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall
They are one and done anyway. Burrow is legit and has arguably the best compliment of WRs in football. Tannehill is Tannehill, and I'm sorry but no way I'm buying Henry being out that long and coming back at full go in his first game back. These Titans teams tend to punch above their weight all season and get knocked on their arse come post season. Expect nothing different this year. -
31-20 Bills host Bengals in the AFC Championship.

Dallas Defense couldn't stop shooting themselves in the foot. They had the Niners off the field with plenty of time for a game winning drive if it weren't for an undisciplined hands to the face call, on a drive ending 3rd down so egregious the refs had no choice but to throw the flag. Bad coach and a good QB who thinks he's great, that team will never win anything except some Division titles in the arguably the worst division in football.

Lots of box offices will still issue hard copies upon request. People get unripped tickets from historic games graded and then tend to sell for obscene amounts. -
Apparently the Ultimate Warrior is alive and well after all...

All I know is thank god for Kathy Hochul telling all us Bills fans how much we love freezing our arses off to watch football and that we want to continue doing this forever... Even our QB says he hates this ***** but let's keep it open air for all the old farts who say "that's how the game is meant to be played" even though they themselves are entirely to old to tolerate what's coming Saturday Night.

Setting up nicely for the Bills revenge tour
Delete_Delete_Delete replied to section122's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree, the "narrative" is definitely there, and the conference has never been so wide open, on their best day this Bills team can beat anybody. However I honestly think the best team in the conference if 100% healthy, might be... Cincinnati. Won a tough division, and Burrow with that trio of WRs, Mixon, and a decent defense? I think they are atleast as tough of an out as KC in Arrowhead will be if this Bills team can get back to the AFC Title game. Bengals definitely have the favorable path of Raiders, Titans, then Conference game. On the plus side that would mean the AFC Championship would be decided in Orchard Park. Possibilities abound, just have to get past Bill Bellichick in a prime time game... in likely unfavorable weather... in the post season... no worries... -
Burrow NOT playing Sunday - per Burrow
Delete_Delete_Delete replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
With the way Josh has fared at home, play Trubisky Sunday, and hope we go the Eli route to the Super Bowl? Obviously this would never actually happen, there is such huge importance placed on home playoff games despite what the Bucs did just last year, But I’m starting to think Josh simply performs better when faced with the “proving doubters wrong/chip on your shoulder” road environment than he does with all the expectations that come along with playing in front of the home crowd. -
Countless people living with mental health issues that don’t assault people? Perhaps looks at the drastically higher crime rates in the United States vs other first world nations, particularly violent crime, and tell me again those with mental health issues aren’t walking around assaulting and destroying things. Trickle down effect- those who need help don’t get the proper help they need and then others in their lives/path suffer the consequences of that individuals perceived “self destruction”. However we are so far removed from football, I’m done with this conversation. Go Bills!

You said they were NOTHiNG alike, yet a laundry list of assault charges and erratic on and off field behavior is not comparable to AB? My point is you are speaking in absolutes, acting as if you have all the facts, going as far to say Marshall was NOTHING like AB, when you couldn’t have been more wrong. You are so certain that AB is just a world class pos and not giving any credence to the notion that he may very well be dealing with an undiagnosed/untreated mental health issue. You clearly aren’t good with facts or details, yet you seem very entrenched in your hate filled stance as if you know the man personally and were witness to all of his heinous actions, and more importantly what motivates those actions. Meanie? More like juvenile and willfully ignorant… Let’s hope for the defendants sake you are never called to jury duty.
