  1. Get Cordarell Patterson instead, dude upped his game in a major way. He is basically Deboo Samuel-light, and just imagine Josh with a versatile weapon like that at his disposal. Diggs, Davis, Patterson, another value FA like Crowder, then draft pick, Hodgins, Stevenson, battle it out for remaining roster spots.
  2. He should go play baseball, he doesn't have the testicular fortitude required to be great in this league... all the talent in the world but I think the pre-draft analysis questioning his love for the game was pretty spot on.
  3. I hope he gets a good sized deal with some guaranteed $$$, although I would love to have him back on another team friendly deal. Levi has been a great and often glossed over find by Beane. UDFA who has over performed his contract every season, what more can you ask from a guy? Didn't really notice the lack of Tre's presence on the field until the Divisional round... whether or not getting to play Mac Jones a bunch, Zach Wilson, and Matt Ryan contributed to that success is up to his agent to gloss over... Body of work shows to me he is a solid #2 CB, and somebody will pay for that, putting extra stock in the fact he started on a defense that lost Tre White and still only surrendered Twelve passing TDs, in the first extended 17 game regular season.
  4. Oh I'll pine alright... I'll pine like you've never seen anybody pine before.
  5. Kinda wish they'd just see if they could hire Jordan Palmer and let him and Josh do their thing.
  6. Excited no, but I think it will be fun to watch, more so than anything involving Chiefs. Plus I've been on the Bengals all season, only futures I bet this year were McDermott coach of the year (oops) and Cincinnati to win the division at like +1800, then roughly the same odds again once they locked up the north to win the conference. I'll be placing one more sizeable wager on the Bengals to finish the job.
  7. Hardly old for a coach... only 8 years older than the guy who just lead the league in TD passes.
  8. Exactly, by this logic, Aikman was the best QB of the 90's, when in reality he wasn't top 5. Marino was arguably the best of his era and never got one, largely bc a Bills team loaded with HOF talent was standing directly in his way. As much as we all love Jim, we know Dan was the best pure passer in the game. Put Marino on the 90's Bills teams and he surely has more than one SB appearance on his resume. My point is, I don't care what Mahomes has done, what Josh IS right now, and arguably the past two seasons, is the better weapon, and the definition of a generational talent. There isn't a single thing Mahomes can do on the field that Josh can't, the same can't be said for Mahomes or any other QB when compared against 17. No other QB is capable of running the way Josh does, elusive while putting guys on their backs like King Henry, while still being able to literally make any throw on the field AND, AND, AND be able to deliver in crunch time when it matters most, unlike Patty today! Burrow better make the most of this one, Josh begins cementing his legacy as all-time great next season, putting up his first MVP season, while coasting to Homefield and leaving a path of destruction and mangled linebackers in his wake, AND winning a Super Bowl. MVP, SuperBowl, same effing season, it's happening.
  9. And it's looking like we're stuck with Frazier... and no extra 3rds round picks...
  10. 10 points in the playoffs with Rodgers and Adams gets this weak sauce a HC gig, but nobody is willing to throw Frazier a frickin' bone here? C'mon man, I really want those extra draft picks. Er, I mean, I really want Leslie to get his shot...
  11. This was my first inclination as well... Allen plays like a man possessed next season, dominates the AFC and the road to the Superbowl runs through Orchard Park.
  12. Burrow and co already beat the "good chiefs", after this emotional roller coaster the Chiefs just went on, Joe Cool v 2.0 comes out with ice in the veins and does it again. Couldn't cover Gabe Davis? Not a knock against that history making performance by Davis, but I can't wait to see the gameplan for the best young trio of WRs in the league in Chase, Higgins, and Boyd. Bengals win a nail biter.
  13. Really? You don't? You missed that while Tre being on IR directly resulted in Hill going OFF? 7 for 63 in the first meeting with a healthy Tre... And If I recall it was KC defense that wasn't up to snuff for that contest? Or are we going to move some goal posts and say the team playing in it's 4th AFCCG in as many years' offense wasn't ready to play, by week FIVE? Tre is out there, Chiefs lose a one-sided game just like they did in week 5. It's that simple. Bills avg 37 points against KC in the two meetings, Tre is a shut down corner, and he would've done just that to the literal piece of human trash that is Tyreek Hill. Tre White > Honey Badger, not even close.
  14. Hopefully not at that cap figure, especially with a younger slot WR in Crowder as a UFA.
  15. Do you want to drivea Ferrari or a Camaro that needs a bunch of work?
  16. Trade Sean for Sean? Go Hire Wink to run the D? I mean, crazier things have happened... in the span of 13 seconds...
  17. If we move forward with the assumption that Gabe is now the undisputed #2 WR, then I'd like to see them add Jamison Crowder to fill the Beasley role for the next couple years. Coming off a couple seasons with the Jets, he should be able to be had for a decent price and providing he can stay healthy, would likely be an upgrade over Beasley moving forward as Cole's play has trended in the wrong direction, fast.
  18. You don't pay a backup LB $5+ million. I get he's been solid when called upon, but you can't keep everybody and the value isn't there at that number. He needs to be counting around $1-$2 Mil against the cap, tops. Bad enough we're on the hook for around $12.5 for Edmunds...
  19. I mean, if there ever was a time, it's gotta be now... I really think Daboll goes to New Jersey, and Frazier ends up with Da Bears. Daboll brings Mitch to compete for the starting job. Both coaches remember where they came from and send us Mack and Barkley (who agrees to restructure bc he's not worth that #2 overall $$$). Those two thirds would also make it much easier to deal that late first for an immediate impact veteran like Mack on defense.
  20. Please hire Leslie Frazier... somebody... anybody
  21. Yeah I read that wrong, just looked it up. Rolled over 2.3 giving them 10 before all the futures contracts they signed. Either way, lots of fat to trim to get the cap # into a good place, as this team underperformed expectations in the regular season, and I don't see Beane taking the "run it back" approach again, he's too smart for that.
  22. Let's hope somebody buys whatever Leslie is selling this year, and Bills get those two extra 3rds, that could be a real difference maker in a class like this. You are right in that Beane has done some solid work in those mid rounds aside from Cody Ford (late 2nd), but pobody's nerfect, and after all he's more than made up for it by landing Spencer Brown.
  23. Release Klein to save another $5.5 Mil and now you have money to make a run at Chandler Jones, Davante Adams, or trade for Mack, possibly two of the three. Go full Rams mode. Release Star I believe another $5-$6 Mil in Savings. With the run defense being as porous as it's been, and his lack of dependability to be available on any given Sunday, no way they can justify bringing him back unless he agrees to a massive restructure as well. Plus I remember reading the team rolled $10 million over in cap space as well.
  24. They still have Stevenson in the pipeline who flashed in the preseason, who knows what they have in him. Beane has definitely hit on some value picks that have made a difference over the last couple years. Regardless of whether Mc Jauron ever gets over the hump, I'm fairly confident we atleast have the right guy in the front office.
  25. I remember reading on draft day, something to the effect that after he got the call from Buffalo he went out and started running routes. Nice to see the hard work paying off for the kid.
