  1. Definitely more enthusiastic about the upcoming season than last year. Way better competition going into camp. May still be missing a few pieces, DE and a #1 WR. But thats ok. We should be very competitive this year and thats exciting. Not predicting 19-0 yet. Thats next year.

SECOND SHOT at the "Bigs".  Williams was signed to a 3 year contract as an UDFA by the Rams in '16, and met the Turk instead of the 53 that September.

I mean, I'm fine calling him a rookie, but this is his 2nd NFL training camp, not his first.

I'm ok with this loophole. It gives our coaches a bigger look at what they have. They really need to pick the right 5 or 6. Besides who hear doesn't love an underdog.story

I agree with you but Prescott wants +$30M.  Elliot wants a huge contract like Bell.     Cooper wants Brown type money.  How do they afford all of that?

Not saying the Bills go do it but he is 24, in his prime.  Can be a huge help to Josh.

Plus didn't they just give Lawrence $20 mil a year? If they sign Dac, Elliott, and amari close to half there cap is tied up in 4 players. Not a great scenario for them.

while several of the drops were no doubt the receiver's fault, Allen's 60+ mph zingers are not that easy to latch on to. Hope Daboll has extensive zinger catching practice for the receiver corps this TC.

This is why I was happy the signed Tyreek. Another rifle arm to get the recievers used to fast balls. Might have a few broken fingers though

Shady wouldn't draw much more than a mid-to-late round pick.  Our best bet is to see if we can squeeze one more good year out of him with our much improved offensive line and likely much improved passing game (which will soften up defenses for the run).  If he doesn't perform well, we have other options on the roster, including an older, but talented vet, a mid-range vet (in both age and talent level) and a talented rookie.  We have the cap space to accommodate McCoy for 1 more year.  I wouldn't deal him unless it was to a contender and with his blessing, so he could go out on top.  The Bills want to establish a culture as a place that treats their guys well and where guys want to come and play.  Dumping McCoy, a possible HOF'er and one of our best players in recent years, for a bag of used jock straps sends a bad message to future free agents.

Shady deserves at least 1 year where he has QB that can make plays, receivers that have the speed to brake one on any given play. That should loosen the box. What looks like a big, nasty Oline (really hoping on this one). The bills have never given him all 3 in one year.

I can easily see a scenario where they are gone at the end of this year.

Depends entirely on how things go, and what Pegula's (clueless) expectations are.

There should be a scenario, however, where these guys are gone this year if things are bad enough.

Truthfully I don't think there should be a scenario for 2019 or 20 for that fact. It would have to be absolute chaos for this to happen. The vision and stability these 2 bring speaks loudly. Look at how many FA we where able to bring in this year. No free agent wants to go somewhere thats a constant cluster $#&@. Next years FA will be about a few final pieces. Don't ef that up now by throwing out ultimatums.
