Clowney trade was a disaster as they let an all pro at a premium position leave in his prime and getting very little in return for what they gave up (a 3rd round pick, a former 1st round bust, and a bubble LB/DE). They should've made up their mind on Clowney long ago when there were more teams in the market as they continued to lose leverage.
The only way the Tunsil trade works out is if he develops into a consistent elite player for at least the length of his contract and they compete for the Super Bowl. Sills contributing at the same time would make the deal look like a good one in hindsight (I doubt it though). Giving up more for Tunsil than Mack is crazy to me and BOB only chance at his job is winning now.
I agree whole heartedly, plus the didn't work out a contact right away. Tunsil could only be there 1 yr.

I don't get the Duke Williams cut. No way he clears waivers.
Shady makes sense at 6.1 million cap hit and Singletary has played well. So has Gore—who is also great in pass protection.
Williams is puzzling. Getting rid of a big redzone target is not a way to help a young qb.
We are going to have 3 big TE's that are going to go up and fight for the ball. Do hope he makes it to the PS though.

Yeah, it looks like Hell on Earth! My 85 y/o parents live in Winter Haven and are heading out tomorrow to my sisters’ concrete block home in Crystal River. Folks have already lost 2 homes since retiring and moving to Florida. He’s fed up, wants to sell and move back to WNY. That’s not how this retirement thing is supposed to work..
Small world. My parents lived in Winter Haven for almost 20 yrs. Moved back to Hamburg 2 years ago. They hate the winter but right now they are happy they did. Take care and be safe.

Too bad Beane couldn't find a way to trade him for something! Jets wouldn't make a trade knowing they're so high in the waiver order, but is there another team that needs one to keep him from going there?

Yay! Let's get the band back together!!! Vlad Ducasse is still available and we already have Russell Bodine! Now all we need to do is trade with the Saints for Marshall Newhouse and trade with the Bengals for John Miller:
Newhouse - Miller - Bodine - Ducasse - Mills

Maybe Bates is a decent backup, but why such lavish praise? He certainly hasn't earned it yet, nor has he earned a roster spot yet.
Yo Bodine, are you allowed to post here.

Hated how they just handed the ball off over and over and only passed on obvious passing downs allowing Defense to just T off against Josh.
I get if they wanted to work the Run game but in that case just put Barkley under center and sit Josh rather than risk Injury.
I really have no problem with it. They clearly wanted to work on the run game. The first two games was all about working on short and intermediate passing game. Shady and gore need to get into a rhythm as well as the online. The miss direction handoff to McKenzie was a thing of beauty and that kind of timing needs to be practiced. Having a strong running game is the best thing in the development of JA.

Yes, if Darnold takes a big step forward the Jets could be successful, but I don't think Gase has established himself as being anywhere near as good a HC as Pedersen, McVay, Reich, or even Nagy.
Also for the Eagles they had Schwartz as the DC

Didn't the Lions go 4-0 last preseason? Plus I doubt it, Tyree will be playing the whole 4th game

Taking my 19 yrs old daughter to the home opener. Trying to convert her into a Bill's fan. She's only been to 2 games and both were Az Cardinals. Told her she has to experience at least one Bill's tailgate. Can't wait myself!

The homer in me says 12-4. Realistically thinking 9-7. So my official prediction is 11-5 with a home playoff win.

Powerful story. Glad to hear that he has learned how to deal with it and is now helping other people.
