We'll start to hear again (if the offense keeps this up), how Daboll will probably leave soon to be a head coach. But I remember reading all about him when he came here. He's from Buffalo. He's a life long Bills fan. This was his dream job. To be back here finally. Not sure if he has a family, but if he does he may very well just want to stay put. Being a head coach may not be for everyone. There's so many other issues to deal with - which McD seems very good at; the overall picture; while Daboll may (hopefully) be happy just being all about the offense. Time will tell

Even if we somehow stop choking and win this game, we have already lost what the game COULD have meant

We have lost this exact same game the exact same way for 20 years.

I think we'll win, but the defense will keep it annoyingly close and we won't feel comfortable until the 4th quarter. Gotta remember that in 3 of our 4 wins (except Jets in week 1) the Dolphins and Raiders were within an onside kick of beating us and we were lucky to get a win against the Rams after the D had a historic meltdown. The Defense is bad. It's VERY VERY bad. Broken tackles galore. Play after play of gaping 7 and 8 and 12 yard runs up the middle. Easy 9 yard completions and teams cruise up the field on us ROUTINELY. Until that stops I think we're in for a rough season if the Offense can't keep pace. What I saw the past two weeks is we are not really true contenders in the AFC. PLEASE prove me wrong

Fitz will make a great QB coach and maybe OC some day. He has said that when he pictures himself playing QB it's always in a Bills uniform; he had his best years here. Would be great if he came back and settled here and worked for the Bills in some coaching capacity. Related - there's a lot of talk about Daboll leaving the Bills to be a HC someday soon. But the thing is, he is FROM Buffalo and is a life long Bills fan. When he got to return home and settle here and got this job he said this is his dream job. Maybe he stays put?
