  1. The kicking game has provided this franchise with almost ten months worth of headaches at this point.
  2. Can’t wait for TBD’s much debated Ozzy halftime show.
  3. Our D looks like they actually have guts this year. I don’t care what anyone says, they did look soft at times last year.
  4. I’ve been most impressed with our defense tonight. They’re actually keeping us in the game with all the turnover nonsense. Miller has been big with the one sack and several pressures.
  5. I think you just need to keep the ball in Josh’s hands this drive. Let’s get points, forget about Moss and Singletary this drive.
  6. I still wish we had an electric running back. No threat of a big play with Motor at all.
  7. Bass has a strong leg, what’s the deal with us never wanting to drive it out of the end zone?
  8. Benford showing good tackling. I like giving the lower round guy a chance.
  9. Yep, even if he had a productive season, he’s the type of player I wouldn’t want anywhere near the ball in a big postseason game.
  10. People seem to love McKenzie, but he’s the one player on offense I’ve never trusted.
  11. Loving these play calls, less nonsense than Daboll.
  12. That series really proves the worth of a pass rusher. We weren’t going to stop them with the secondary, but one big pass rush play changes it all.
  13. Unsure, it doesn’t change my high hopes for the season. It’s just the fact these opening night games can be weird.
  14. I give college football credit for adding some better week one matchups over the years. Pitt vs West Virginia was great, and there’s some great games coming up this weekend. Michigan vs Colorado State at noon on ABC is reminds me how CFB week one used to drive me crazy.
  15. Agree. I’m on the younger side, but I’d rather watch these guys play in a wheelchair than listen to fake computerized “music”. I’m open to all styles of music, and love to hear new stuff, but these guys will always have an audience when the mainstream pumps out trash.
  16. So true, it’s strange to see a football player looking like Brady, but sadly the descent into becoming Michael Jackson is quite popular amongst wealthy middle aged folks.
  17. They both are, but that’s my point, why not trade Moss if someone was actually willing to give up a pick for him. Good take, it makes sense to keep your guys while making a title run, but how could you turn down a fifth rounder or better for Moss.
  18. I’d make that trade in an instant if someone is willing to give up a draft pick. Keep Blackshear, Moss is a dime a dozen back with no game breaking ability. He seems like a player who works hard, but he’s nothing special. I like the potential of a future draft pick better.
  19. Yeah, it’s bizarre. He’s obviously not a starter, but I thought he was a little better than a one-read guy. Keenum is a veteran, he looks like a rookie third stringer trying to make the roster. I don’t expect huge results from any backup, it’s more the issues you’ve pointed out which confuse me.
  20. He seems exactly like the type of QB’s we embraced as our saviors for many years.
  21. I know it’s against our backups, but Mayfield can do some things when he actually cares.
  22. That’s not what we want, but I think people should be less judgmental as whole in that case. I’m not encouraging any type of “mob”, I just think it’s naive to believe there aren’t plenty of guilty people walking the streets, while people can be put away on the same level of accusations. It’s a matter of circumstances in many cases. He said/she said things are very sticky, and there’s a fine line between guilt and innocence. If you’re never going to judge the “innocent” when all signs look really bad, you probably shouldn’t judge the guilty too harshly either. I’ll leave it at that, I know this is more of a personal belief thing from things I’ve witnessed. Your points are all valid .
  23. I agree, we have no other way to judge these things. I’m just saying the legal system isn’t always spot on. There’s a ton of variables required to prosecute someone, including the police end of it. I think we get it right more often than not, but just because someone isn’t in jail, doesn’t mean they didn’t commit a crime. That doesn’t mean their life should necessarily being ruined, it’s just strange when people act like it’s a sure thing nothing happened just because someone isn’t in jail.
