  1. A 33 year old QB isn’t as close to the end as they where in the past. If I’m managing a team with no QB, I’d be willing to give up quite a bit for one of the better QB’s in the league.
  2. The Broncos are going to struggle in the AFC West. They aren’t going up against Geno Smith every week. Smith has played a decent game by his standards, but it doesn’t seem like he’s capable of making a play when most needed. I’d be surprised if the Broncos don’t get the win.
  3. He might not be at that super elite level, but he’s the best player the Broncos have on offense. Hackett as head coach and play caller seems like a potential disaster. Wilson is far better than what Hackett has allowed him to show tonight imo.
  4. Hackett is a joke. All that investment in Wilson, and they don’t want to put the ball in his hands.
  5. Yeah, that relationship has always been weird.
  6. Julio Jones already limping, I’d be shocked if he plays more than a few games.
  7. We knew the NFC was going to be weaker than the AFC, but the NFC looks really bad today. Worse than I expected.
  8. I liked the meme, but it would seem more appropriate coming from a team like the Bills. It’d better fit the city and fanbase, LA Chargers trash talk just seems weird, although I like it and have no problem with it.
  9. I’ll believe it when I see it. I just don’t trust Cousins or the Vikings. I expect the Packers to turn things around, even if the slow start continues. Rodgers clearly doesn’t have many weapons on offense, but I trust Rodgers and LaFleur to find a way to make it work. The NFC is wide open, so I wouldn’t count anyone out, but I don’t know if the Vikings are a favorite yet.
  10. Nice win for Daboll, any Titans loss is nice as well.
  11. I can’t believe the Raiders hired McDaniels. He does nothing innovative and doesn’t seem like a great leader.
  12. They will, but they have crazy expectations. They expected Daboll to be an instant savior who turns Jones into a viable QB. Once they see Daboll screaming at Jones every week, they’ll know their QB is a bust.
  13. The Daboll/Jones relationship is going to be interesting. I don’t think Jones has what it takes to be a good NFL QB, regardless of coaching. Daboll constantly chewing out Jones while the team looks like a mess is going to turn ugly in NY with that media and fanbase.
  14. Here’s an opening week overreaction, Are the Bengals a one hit wonder? I don’t see anything special enough to indicate this team will always be a contender.
  15. I calculated that I love Steelers losses.
  16. The Packers look like they might be in trouble this season, Rodgers has nothing on offense. Somehow Watkins can’t even make it on the field with a bunch of unproven wideouts beating him out on the depth chart.
  17. Yep, but it needs to be in Buffalo.
  18. I liked Mitch as our backup, but the way people talked about him here was like they never watched him as a starter in Chicago.
  19. I’m starting to see why Trey Lance was on the bench in SF.
  20. So much for the idea the Lions improved this season. I wouldn’t be shocked if Campbell gets fired before the end of the year. He seems like the typical meathead coach.
  21. Baker needs to learn how to play NFL football before he ever trash talks again. I know a lot of people seem to like the guy, and I’ve got nothing against him, but his act is tiresome.
  22. Benford will continue to look good if Von Miller and this D line keeps it up. A decent pass rush is absolutely transformative, and makes everyone better. It’ll be great to get Tre back, but these young corners will benefit greatly from the pass rush. We won’t be as dependent on Elam’s immediate development with a strong line.
  23. Agree, and Stafford has never been a consistent QB, but he did play well enough at the right time to win a title. Stafford is never the Manning or Brady type who enables his team to have near perfect seasons. He’s going to have a fair amount of bad games.
  24. This game has been spectacular, and we’ve been far from perfect. It just shows how unstoppable we should be, if we don’t stop ourselves. The only thing I’d love to see is the day where Josh isn’t consistently our leading rusher.
  25. Love this team, but these running backs drive me nuts.
