How do you let that happen? I hated the call to go for it, but it sure worked.

The AFC West has some good talent, but it makes life easy on Andy Reid. He can coach circles around the other clowns in that division.
-
That’s what I’m hoping, but I worry we won’t see that version of Carr with McDaniels. That dude is a disaster as head coach.
-
I agree, I love hot weather, but I’m talking about 100 plus degree weather, like the sideline in Miami or Phoenix Arizona in the summer. That isn’t pleasant, tolerable, or good outdoor weather. It’s just as bad as cold imo. I’m cool with a 90 degree day to chill outside, but I’m not hanging around drinking a beer on a 115 degree day in the desert.
-
For some reason it seems that 100+ heat isn’t universally discussed as being crappy weather in the same way as cold. Yet everyone who experiences that type of heat complains about it nonstop. I do understand hating snow, rain, or dreary weather, but cold and extreme heat are equals imo.

I have no clue since I don’t really listen to announcers. All I recall from the broadcast is Romo’s sweaty pits. If any of the broadcast team is sweating in the booth, I don’t think Siberia jokes should be on the agenda.

The guys who were out are all talented players. We need that talent against quality opponents. I’m not taking anything away from our win, but the Steelers offense is bad and inexperienced. It was a great defensive performance regardless, but a rookie QB is going to struggle against McD’s scheme. We always have a good scheme, but guys like White and Edmonds can be the difference between a win and loss against elite opponents.

He decided to make the end of the game all about him
-
Knox has done everything asked of him this season. I used to doubt him, but I’ve grown to love his potential. I don’t understand why we can’t incorporate him into being a regular part of this offense. I’m jealous when I see how guys like Kelce and Kittle are used. Knox isn’t at that level, but I’d like to see him integrated into our game plan in a similar manner. We need to see if he can carry that load.

Absolutely, Brady is hailed as the GOAT, and thought of as a teammate who elevates everyone. He probably has nothing in common with most of his teammates. Wilson might be “weird”, but his on field play is the real issue.
-
I don’t mind him. His criticism of Wilson was more direct and focused than anything Fitz or Sherman had to say imo.
-
I didn’t mind it. You give Wilson a huge contract to win games against teams like the Colts. He couldn’t make one play all night, but was given a final chance, and failed once again. Hackett could have played for the tie, but if Wilson can’t get it done, that’s not a team going far regardless.
-
Maybe, but Hackett got heavily criticized for not letting Russ cook in the opening game vs Seattle. He let Russ cook this time, and got burned. I think he’s an awful coach, but I can understand overcompensating.
-
Why did Gilmore only get flagged for his tendency to latch on to receivers in Buffalo? Seems like he’s made his career on it after.
-
Exactly, Russell Wilson looks a lot like Trent Edwards at this point.
-
Awful clock management by Reich to have no timeouts at this point.
-
Rooting for a Colts TD. I want to hear how loud Denver can boo their team.
-
I hate the fact someone must win this game. Neither team deserves it.

This sounds like something they’d say on a movie trailer for a romantic comedy. -
Not a bad thought. I don’t think Trubisky gives them a better chance of winning, but those are the type of games that could shake a rookie QB’s confidence. Waiting for a softer part of the schedule might help Pickett’s learning process.

NFL WEEK #4 - Bills at Ravens - 1st Half Thread
SirAndrew replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Fans and media placed unrealistic expectations on the 2022 Bills. We weren’t going undefeated, but I wish this team would iron out the blowout loss issue. We play a few total duds every season. -
He’s squandered many changes, but I wish him the best. I don’t think he was ever going to be a star QB, that’s the mistake some seem to make in assuming. I hope he fully turned things around, and keeps himself out of trouble. Kelly’s the backup QB for a CFL team, he’s doing better than a lot of guys his age. If that’s considered a “failure”, you haven’t seen much real failure. He’s had troubles, but maybe he’ll eventually become a responsible adult.

Along the lines of what Yolo said, Clemson football produces a whole lot of that as well.
-
The halftime show didn’t even mention Tua’s injury last week. They’ll try their best to downplay this as long as possible, until the truth is forced out by another party.
-
Of course no one will mention last week with Tua on the halftime show.
