  1. It’s amazing that the people who typically discover this last is the team themselves.
  2. Exactly, I just posted the same thing while you shared your thoughts. Nothing about Tua is great, you see it in some of these poor throws, but he knows how to execute this offense.
  3. I think McDaniel and Tua are a great fit as a QB/Coach combo. The coach knows exactly how to play to his QB’s strengths. Tua is in the perfect offense for his abilities. The hospital ball to Mostert and the last throw to Hill demonstrate he doesn’t have elite arm talent imo, but the scheme is great for him.
  4. It was a huge statement, but the AFC is that much better than the NFC. I think a lot of AFC teams could clobber the “best” NFC teams.
  5. I don’t know if Tomlin has the patience for a young QB. He’s used to winning. I wouldn’t be shocked if Trubisky is heard from again this season. The Steelers are trash regardless, but I’m curious to see how Tomlin handles Pickett.
  6. I’m glad Steelers fans are excited about Pickett. Nothing about him would make me feel confident. He looks like an extra on Joe Dirt.
  7. He’s the GOAT, but I’m tired of his drama. I don’t know if it’s intentional, but he seems to love it. He’s spent this entire season looking angry and depressed. If you have stuff to deal with, just retire. It’s much less endearing when not getting it done on the field.
  8. Agree, I think his only big struggles came against schools from power conferences with superior talent. People clung to those results as proof he couldn’t do it at the next, obviously not taking into consideration the entire team being overmatched.
  9. Yeah, I’m not saying Josh already had “it”, but I don’t know what anyone could expect. It’s safe to assume that Kelvin Benjamin, Zay Jones, and Andre Holmes were never open. Allen of 2022 is a different player, but I don’t think we see a game like with a legitimate NFL supporting cast.
  10. People forget that Von Miller won a Super Bowl for a washed up Manning and Brock Osweiler.
  11. They used to make the strike zone the size of a dime for the right guys.
  12. The Chiefs get calls like Jeter’s Yankees and Brady’s Pats combined.
  13. Von Miller was the difference between a touchdown and field goal there.
  14. 60+ field goals are becoming more common. That why you need to be aggressive, Frazier’s philosophy is a relic from days when 40 yards was a tough kick.
  15. Gabe Davis is the man, and Josh is incredibly gutsy, the D coaching is the opposite.
  16. I think that’s a run-on sentence 😆
  17. Mahomes shall point, and he shall receive. I hate playing this team.
  18. I don’t care what anyone says. Our D has done just fine. KC gets all the calls, Mahomes is the new Brady.
  19. Why is McD so intolerant of incompetence (that’s a good thing) from everyone but McKenzie?
  20. We have the d line talent, but I worry Frazier will always play soft against Mahomes.
  21. I think we need Miller to have a big game to win. If he doesn’t, I’m good with him saving it for the conference title game.
  22. Very Billsy, but that’s why McKenzie drives me nuts. We don’t have “Billsy” players anymore. McKenzie reminds me of a guy who’d be a star player during the drought years.
  23. McKenzie has talent, but he’s the type of player who could cost your team a title. I wish we could phase him out more. I’ve seen enough.
  24. Exactly, as a casual fan who likes to support Buffalo sports, I’m not a diehard. I’m happy they got off to a good start, but won’t start to believe until they keep this up past mid season. People seem excited about this win, and the team’s potential, but I keep hearing they have the pieces every year.
  25. It is simple, once I learned from actually reading this thread. That’s what’s great about this board, it’s more knowledgeable than most other forums.
