It seems like the Ravens offense has reduced much of the read options plays and called Lamar runs. They need that element to be successful. You can only throw to Andrews so many times.

And are we really worried about Baltimore? If we can’t get past them, we aren’t going far. Regardless of what happens tonight, the Ravens don’t look like a great team.

Sammy Watkins says Buffalo Bills are still his team
SirAndrew replied to BuffaloBills1998's topic in The Stadium Wall
I see people are still bitter about the “little jobs” stuff. I get it, but at this point who cares? Things worked out quite well for this franchise. We’re in a great place, and the guy tried to stay something nice. There’d be outrage if he said something nasty about Buffalo. It’s probably good it didn’t work out, it led us to where we are today. We’ve moved on to a better place, this type of bitterness seemed more appropriate when the franchise was a mess. -
They might be able to construct them in a way that’s hard to climb. Most Buffalo drunks aren’t the most physically fit agile folks.

That’s where I am. I’m not going to be too negative about it, but what we’ve seen isn’t anything special to me. I’ll be impressed with a wide concourse, better concessions, and bathrooms. That’s what will make the new stadium appeal to me at this point.

Don’t count on anyone negotiating a better deal. I think this is the direction the NFL is headed. Owners simply aren’t going to pay, because they can always find someone in another city/state who’s willing to do so.

Yeah, I’m fine with our new stadium, and don’t want to be “negative”. I just wish it looked less like a European soccer stadium. Hoping they add at least one unique feature. It seems like a copy and paste design.

It also looks like the original PlayStation game console from overhead view.

I don’t know if it will create huge shadows, because the awnings look quite small in the rendering. I’m not knowledgeable about engineering, so maybe someone can enlighten me, but I don’t understand the point of the awnings. They look like they won’t cover many fans. Is the awning supposed to reduce winds? I’d think the stadium itself could be constructed to limit winds.

Worst Year Ever in the NFL for Overall Quality of Play?
SirAndrew replied to jethro_tull's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agree, the value of experience went out the window when teams saw McVay. The league went on a hiring spree of millennial coaches who looked similar to McVay. I’m all about giving the next generation of coaches a fair shot, I’d hope I’m afforded those type of opportunities, but these guys had more style than substance. -
How in the hell did Nathaniel Hackett become an NFL head coach?
SirAndrew replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’m not a big fan of college coach hires in general, but poaching coaches from Syracuse really is low. I’ll never get over the idea of a Syracuse coach turning around an NFL franchise, unbelievable. -
MNF: Chicago Bears at NE Patriots - with Manningcast!

Aikman and Buck have been brutal, but it beats listening to a Pats fan rant. -

I’d enjoy Manningcast even better if they went full screen with the game more often. We know what Peyton and Eli look like. -

At no point did I ever hope to hear Buck and Aikman ramble on about the name Bailey. -

Unreal how many “legitimate” NFL experts were talking up Mac Jones as a franchise QB or better last season. Now Zappe is the starter. -

We’ll see how long Pats fans stay Zappe. -

QB’s would never do that kind of thing back in the day. There’s no consequence from the opposition anymore. -

If Bill wants Jones to be his QB, he should give him a chance to throw on this drive. -

Just be thankful for Allen, that’s the real reason we aren’t playing for field goals. -

SirAndrew replied to Beck Water's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yep, the Bears only chance is to run the ball well, settle for field goals, and hope Mac Jones is awful. -

SirAndrew replied to Beck Water's topic in The Stadium Wall
Why are the Pats starting Jones if they aren’t sure how long he can play? Belichick is wearing blinders if he can’t see that both Zappe and Jones are subpar starters. You’d go with the subpar QB who has the hot hand, and right not that’s Zappe. Poor Bill might really think he has a franchise QB in Mac. -

Is there a betting line on how long it takes fans to boo Mac Jones? -
NFL Week 7 - Around the NFL - Gameday thread (Bills have bye)
SirAndrew replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Tight score now, but watching these teams turned into watching paint dry. I feel the same. -

I’m a Tua critic, but he doesn’t attempt throws he isn’t capable of on a regular basis. Fitz would think he’s Brett Favre with a ten point lead in the fourth, only to throw the game away. Tua has game manager ability he can use to help his team win. -

Pickett needs to use his legs more. His best asset at this point.
